Lila followed the soldier to her sleeper cell. She though it would be much hard than it was to enter the ship using Ms. Joy's ticket. But she guessed since she was part of the last group of people to board they over look the issue.

"You will put your carry on, in the closet. Strap yourself in the launch seat and prepare for take off in 5 minutes. Is that understood." Lila nodded her head in understanding.

Her heart was beating out of her chest. She never thought, she would she be here. Now that she is here, it's unbelievable. All the things she never got to do are now possible.

Lila noticing the soldier was still waiting from outside the room door. Threw her bag into the tiny compartment, which they called a closet. Ran out the room and strap herself into the seat to prepare for take off. The soldier double check the straps were secure, and left.

"Ladies and Gentlemen. This is your captain speaking. We have loaded the last of us onto the ship. Have closed our doors. The engines are running and they will be launching in one minute. I would just like each and everyone on you to give a moment of silence to all who will be left behind. You are they're hope for the survival of our species. Let's not disappoint them..."

Silence encased the ship. As everyone either bowed their heads or closed their eyes. In remembrance towards the dead and living. Silent tears dropped from Lila's eyes as she was remember Ms. Joy and her sacrifice, so she can be here. "Thank You, I'll never forget you."

"10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1" the vassal's automatic voice countdown was projected through the comms. Right before everyone felt heavy pressure weighting on their whole bodies, as the ship took off into the sky.

"Be happy Lila." Ms. Joy said as she watched the last ship leave into the sky. Turning around she faced to husband before walking over and giving him a kiss. "I love you." "And I will alway love you." Tears streamed down their eyes as they held each other in their arms.

"This is your captain speaking..." People walking the ship all froze. After two months of ship life, all passengers have gotten use to the rules of the vessel. When the captain speaks, you obey. "....we will be coming up on a farthest planet in our solar system, Von. Once we have reach Von, our fleet will enter into hyper-drive. Cause hyper-drive can be painful and uncomfortable. Passengers will need to enter into their sleeper cells for deep sleep." The captains words weren't fulling done when whispers broke out among the passengers.

They have heard of deep sleep for many weeks now. Do to the soldiers prepping them on the sequence.

Deep sleep, was a chemically induced sleep. the military found out early on that for hyper-drive and for extended periods in space can cause people to develop 'star-craze'. Seeing the same scenery over and over again. As well as the confined space. Lead people to want to escape by destroying the ship or killing the other passengers. The solution, putting passengers to sleep, for their minds in relax and dream.


Lila didn't even want to know how many cases of 'star-craze' it took for them to come up with this solution.

It's been three months since they had left their planet. And Lila realize her luck is just as bad as always. When she realize who on the same ship as her.

"Move out the way." Tweetle Dimwit shouted out giving Lila a healthy shove.

Ever since Tweetle Dumber died in the earthquake. She been Kara's angry shadow. Everywhere Kara her angry shadow wasn't far behind. Lila really didn't blame her too much at first for her attitude. After all she lost her twin.

But now it's becoming an sorry excuse to act rude. Hopefully after the deep sleep. That stick up her ass would have come out.

Lila moved out the way as Kara and her posey walked through the cafe. She hadn't talked to Kara since the park incident. And she had hoped she wouldn't have to come face to face with her anymore. But luck was never on Lila's side.

"Warning!...Warning! Vassal is taking heavy damage. Aversive maneuvering is needed. Warning!..."

Lila woke on the floor to blaring red light and the yelling of the ships voice over the comms. Her sleeper cell which looked like a coffin, was on the floor on it's side. With it's lid wide open.

Drugs still in her system Lila's mind and body was still disoriented. Trying to pick herself from the floor. Lila reach her bed only to be thrown to the opposite wall. After something hit the ship. The banging was just to loud to be missed.

"What is going on? Aren't we in space? Didn't we just enter deep sleep?"

Lila ran out of her room and into chaos. People were on the floor begging for help. Military personnel didn't even bother to help them, and just kept on running. Things were scattered across the hallway. Room doors were open. Sleeper cells look like they have been thrown across the wall. The alarm light kept blink giving the hall a eerie contrast between red light and complete darkness.

Lila's mind was on overload. Her body pumped up on adrenaline. Her mind trying to keep up with what was going on around her.
