"Hello, steward Durlan how may I help you?" Opening the door Saavi found steward Durlan waiting outside.
"Saavi, Lord Tasar would like the invite Miss Mikaela for a welcoming dinner tonight with the whole clan. May you ask Miss Mikaela if she can join us?"
"No need, the young miss will be happy to go, what time is dinner?"
"At around 6 this evening shall I escort her there?"

"Okay, I will come by a little earlier to escort her to dinner."

Taking his leave Durlan didn't notice the jubilation on Lixiss' face.
"Kasra, do you think he will come? If father invites him than he must come right?" Not waiting for an answer Lixiss changed directions, rushing off towards her residence.
Lord Tasar sat at his desk looking at the bone horntail bugs his hunters were able to collect over the past week. Along with the containers of Levofine, a potent painkiller that will ease the pain of the procedure.
Lord Tasar shook his head the coming days of Mika's life were going to be hard, maybe even fatal. Tasar didn't want to send his friend's daughter back to him in freezer coffin, he was praying for a healthy recovery.
Putting away the tools needed for Mika's procedure, his steward comes walking in.
"Lord Tasar, everything is set and Miss Mikaela will be joining the welcoming dinner." Tasar sighed despite the happy occasion.

"I wish her to have at least one happy moment while being here before starting her treatment."
Durlan nodded he too knew about the poison running thru Miss Mikaela's body. It is sad to see one so young go through such hardships.
"Sir, I will personally make sure everything runs soothing for tonight's dinner."

The family hall was filled with tables full of food. The whole Udava clan, distant and immediate family members sat at the tables talking and eating heartily.
Lixiss watched the doors as members kept filing in but still she didn't see the person she was looking for. Frustration eating away at her patience Lixiss stood up to leave just when steward Durlan bought Mikaela through the doors.
Dressed in a simple but elegant gown Mika looked graceful and charming, the mask covering her face did nothing to hide her beauty.
Mikaela curtseyed to Lord Tasar before taking her place by his side as his honorary guest.
Mikaela sat conversing with Lord Tasar not realizing the continuous peeks being sent her way from the young and old clan members in the hall.
When one the of Lord Tasar's brothers walked up to ask about Mika, Lord Tasar stood up and made an introduction to the whole clan.
"Everyone I would like to introduce to you, Miss Mikaela Amara. She will be staying with us for an extended period of time. I hope the Udava clan will treat her as if she is my own daughter." Mikaela got up and curtseyed to the members in the hall.

Liking her endearing aura, the members naturally warmed up to the idea of having her around. Many came up the toast and greet Mika surrounding her in a sea of laughter.
