"Miss Mikaela, you need to take care of your health during this recovery period. The poison in your body has reduced to 85-90%. We will need to do the procedure about six more times." The healer put away his body scanners and advised Mika on her post-treatment care.

"Six more times...!?" Remembering the excruciating pain, Mika shudders in her seat.

"Yes. The poison had already started integrating into your bones. We are lucky that you only have to do it six extra times, Miss Mikaela." The healer warned Mika in a stern voice for her misconceptions.

"Yes, I understand. Thank you for taking care of me." Mika didn't want to hear anymore, sending the healer on his way.

The healer left after subscribing some medications for regaining her strength before the next round of treatment.

"Young miss, you must follow the healer's suggestion alright?" Saavi knew her young miss wasn't one to take medicine nor to listen to people's advice.

She needed to forewarn young miss now that she will not stand for any arguments over this, she had a job to do.

"Young miss...Young miss!" Saavi repeatedly called Mika when she saw she was daydreaming.

Mika's thoughts have been elsewhere since the time she had woken from her sleep. Saavi feared she hasn't fully recovered from her nightmares.

"Saavi, I heard the healer I know how important this is, I would not risk my life with carelessness. Trust me, okay?"

Mika saw Saavi worried face whenever she would look at her. She knew she wasn't being like herself, but the voice from her dream was bugging her.

She still couldn't place where she heard it from. Mind the fact that it popped into her head while she was sleeping and had a conversation with her.

The poison, that Joanos fellow and now that mysterious voice in her dream. Did she have a target on her back saying "kicking me while down"?

Although she couldn't deny the fact that the voice helped her, it didn't change the fact that she heard a voice in her head. Was it a figment of her imagination? It's possible.

Mika decided to wait until she goes to sleep later on tonight. With that out of the way, Mika turned towards her next problem, Joanos.

Who the hell did he think he is using her. If she didn't have to go for the procedure the next day after Lord Tasar's welcoming dinner, she would have dealt with him already.

"Saavi, has anyone come by to visit me while I was asleep the last few days?"

"Hmm...other than Lord Tasar and Steward Durlan, a young male came by the first three days looking for you. I think his name was....oh, Joanos. Young master Joanos. Is he the person young miss is inquiring about?" Saavi had a Cheshire smile on her face.

"Yes, he is. Thank you for notifying me." Mika got up and walked away before Saavi's gossipy nature had her and Joanos married and with three children before dinner.

"Kaze, I feel like exercising. I've been in that tube for too long. I need to stretch my body. Lord Tasar said he has an archery range here ask steward Durlan where it's at"

_____

"Miss Mikaela, I'm glad to see you up and about." Steward Durlan was guiding Mika, Kaze, and Saavi to the Udava clan's archery range.

"I'm sorry to have worried you, steward Drulan. I am fine now."

Smiling, Durlan was truly happy miss Mikaela was alright. These days with everything that has been happening in the household, having miss Mikaela wake up, lifted a weigh-off of Lord Tasar's shoulders.

"Miss Mikaela, you are actually in luck, the Udava clan is having a shooting contest at the range today."

"Shooting contest?.."

"Yes, Lord Tasar does once every month to test his sons' skills, but others are allowed to join in. The more the merrier, right?"

"En."

Reaching the range, they saw a big field with tents lining the side full of cheering males and females. As the archers take aim at targets fifteen yards away.

"Miss Mikaela, this way please." Durlan escorted them into Lord Tasar's tent.

"Lord Tasar..." Mika curtseyed.

"En...Mikaela, please sit. No, need to be so formal...Is everything well?" Knowing she just woke up from a week of sleep, Lord Tasar was surprised to see her here today.

"Yes, I just wanted to stretch out my body a bit." Hearing that everything was okay, Lord Tasar dropped the subject.

"I see you bought your bow." Looking at Kaze who was carrying Mika's bow in its wooden case, Lord Tasar wished to see Mika's improvement.

"Yes, I hope I can shoot a little today."

"Of course, didn't I say to treat my Udava clan as your home. You are like a daughter to me."

When Lord Tasar said this, Mika didn't miss the strange looks that passed over Lord Tasar's family in the tent.

"Then I won't be polite."
