Sholana slept late that night, her heart was at ease as she snuggled closer to Nathan.

"Your father and I are getting divorced!" Mrs lana said, her eyes showed no regret.
"What?, mom, dad!. you can't be serious"
Henry was the first to speak, he couldn't believe his ears, Shola was too surprised to speak.
For the first time in a long time her face showed emotions, her parents were never angry at each other to the extent of getting divorced!, they loved each other too much to do that! .
"Mom, Dad, how is this possible?, just last week you guys were fine and now..."
"I know what you"re thinking Sholana and you are right!, your mother suddenly brought this up after a small argument "
Mr Gregory said with a calm voice, his grey brows looked relaxed like the situation wasn't serious
"Small argument?, you want my daughter to marry into that hag's family. I won't allow that!" Mrs Lana said angrily slamming her hand on the coffee table in front of her.
Mr Gregory scoffed and turned his face elsewhere
"This....this marriage is for the good of our business mom and besides its not like I'm going to marry him immediately" Sholana tried to reason with her mother but her mother wouldn't listen
"Its not the boy I'm talking about its his hag of a mother!"
"oh come on mom, just because she bullied you in school doesn't mean you would drag your feud down to our generation" Henry said rolling his eyes
"I'm having the divorce and that's it!" Mrs Lana said as she got up to leave, Mr Gregory scoffed again looking at the direction of the door.

Shola opened her eyes slowly, she felt Nathan's hand around her waist and she smiled.
She turned the other way and bury her face in his chest. "Good morning" Shola heard Nathan' voice.
It seemed he was still sleepy as his voice sounded lazy and more seductive than usual.
"Mm....good morning Mr Handsome"
Shola answered back before sitting up from the bed, she turned to look Nathan whose eyes were till closed
'was he sleep talking?, why does he look so tired?, why is he so handsome.....'
Shola was busy asking her self stupid questions but when she remembered what happened the night before her face instantly flushed.
Their kiss lasted for half an hour....
Shola stared at the dark circles under Nathan's eyes and couldn't help but wonder if he was this tired when he came to her room last night, what could have gotten him so exhausted.
Knock! Knock!
Shola walked lazily to the door, it was Weiwei.
"Is something the matter?" Shola couldn't help but notice Weiwei had an off expression
"I....I wanted to apologize" Weiwei stared at the floor as she said the words she practiced all night
"Apologize for what?"
"For....For you know, insulting and disrespecting you, trying to make things hard for you ever since you married my brother....even though you don't remember some of it" Weiwei fiddled her fingers looking like a child who did something wrong, Shola felt that she was just too cute and she pinched her cheeks subconsciously
"No need to apologize, but I forgive you it all in the past now" Shola said as shed completely left the room and closed the door softly.
She looked behind Weiwei and saw a few luggage behind her.
"Are you traveling?"
Weiwei shook her head smiling "I'm leaving"
"You're leaving the house?"
"Yes, I need to go and have a talk with my mother about you"
"Oh its nothing to worry about...hehe " Weiwei said nervously, she didn't want to tell Shola that she was sent here by her mother to stir trouble.
"Ok then, be safe" Shola said sounding like an older sister
Weiwei suddenly felt warm hearing Shola's caring words.
In all truth she had always wished for the day when someone would tell her that sincerely, not even her own mother cared that much for her, her mother only showed her lots of affection in public places.
"I will" Weiwei said as she hugged Shola swiftly and left.
Shola stared at the girl on a daze till she was out of sight, she didn't feel repulsed!, she didn't see that man's face.
Sholana was elated at the thought that she might have finally overcome her trauma.
She went through her contacts, when she found the number she was looking for and dialed it.
"Hello?" a youthful voice came from the other line.
Choked up with emotions Shola replied with an excited tone "Henry, don't you know how to greet your elders anymore?"
"Sholana?"
"Mm, its me you foodie, lets meet up"
As if scared that her brother wasn't going to be interested she quickly added "At Mrs Thomas' restaurant at our old neighborhood"
"Ok!, I'll take the first flight to City S" Henry said excitedly.
Shola laughed at how gullible her brother could be when it comes to food, she wanted to speak to him about their parents but she also missed him.
Smiling to herself Shola who was lost in thought was snapped out her daze when a strong arm was wrapped around her waist.
"You invited brother in-law?" Nathan asked as he hugged her tighter realizing that she was not pushing him away.
If she was no longer repulsed by him then he could do more than just hugging or kissing.......
A devious smile appeared on his face confusing Shola 'Why is he smiling so creepily?'
