Shola and Nathan's vacation was cut short because of the incident.
Nathan felt that since Jackson knew their location it wouldn't be safe for Shola to stay there anymore.
Nathan tried really hard to convince Shola before she agreed.
They left for City S two days after.

"Boss?"
"hm" Nathan who was busy typing on his laptop half-heartedly replied
Jenner stared at her boss who had on his usual expression although this time his face seemed to be glowing a little bit.
She had been his assistant for 7years and she only just found out that he was married.
"The manager that never showed up in the company has been married to you for almost a year....."
Nathan looked up at her and nodded slightly.
The calm demeanor Jenner had was now history, she looked at the man angrily
"Nathan!"
"What?"
The formal speech between the two was long gone, Jenner sat on his desk and closed his laptop
"Are we even considered friends or not?, you married someone but you didn't tell me?, heck! when did you even fall in love?" Jenner's face was already red from anger
Nathan got up and ruffled her hair before patting it "Are you mad at me....J.R?"
Jenner looked at her best friend's teasing smile and she couldn't help it anymore
"Ow! " Nathan touched his cheek that had just been pinched
"What was that for?"
Jenner looked at him her expression turned serious
"We have known each other for 7years Nathan, been together through thick and thin, we were given the best friendship awards last year, how could you not tell me something so important?, no wonder you took a week off and no wonder you have been going home so early everyday!"
She turned around, her back now facing Nathan.
The cold look Nathan had minutes ago was now replaced with playfulness as he held the girl's shoulders and shook it left and right
"Don't be mad, I'm sorry hmm?"
Jenner scoffed and walked out of the office.
A slight mile appeared on her lips as she closed the door behind her, she always liked it when Nathan apologizes to her, it sometimes made her feel taller
damn it she hated his height!.
Nathan watched the woman walk away in a huff trying to hide her smile and couldn't help but laugh, she was the only real friend he had in this world, the only one that made being a CEO less boring to him.
Nathan's phone rang a few minutes later it was Shola.

As usual, after Nathan left for work the house was as boring as watching a black and white movie.....without sound.
Which was exactly what she was doing at the moment, she didn't understand a thing from what she was watching so she just switched off the TV. She painted for a while but soon her inspiration faltered.
She called Joanna to chat but turns out she had traveled out of the country, she called Henry, he wasn't in City S anymore, she called her mother but all she heard was complaints about her father
ugh!
"Who should I call?, Who should I call?, should I call?, Who should I call? " While muttering to her self, she tapped on Nathan's number by accident and he immediately picked it
Shola stared at her phone screen and quickly cut the call.
"Oh no!, what was i thinking?, I'm supposed to be giving him the silent treatment!" Before Shola could continue her words Nathan called
"...." Shola just kept the phone on her ear and didn't say a word
"Sholana?"
"...."
Nathan sighed and spoke in a coaxing voice "I'm sorry we had to cut our vacation short okay? can just stop staying mad at me?, its been four days now"
"...hmph! "
Nathan chuckled, at least she made a sound
"Ok, how about you come over and we can have a talk and then have dinner together, Okay?"
"....En"
"I'll send my assistant to pick you up"
"No need, I'm not a child, I know the way"
Nathan laughed as he imagined her pouting face, she must be so bored, and he just used it against her.

When Shola arrived at the company everyone stated at her like she was food.
But you can't blame them, a beauty dressed in light blue. Absolutely no signs of make-up and she still looked stunning, she had an amazing figure that was almost hidden because of the dress.
Her eyes sparkled as she passed them except for the fact that.....she was going the wrong way.
Why did it seem like the young girl was going to the CEO's office?
Every one knew how much the CEO hated when women came to disrupt his work!, except for his assistant no other woman was allowed to go closer to him.
While everyone was busy feeling sorry for the girl, the 40 year old vice president walked up to Shola blocking her way
"You're quite a beauty, I should tell you, there is no way Mr Lu will fall for any woman because....." The man came closer to Shola's ear
"He is bent you see.."
"Excuse me?" Shola said as she distanced her self from the man, what did he mean by Nathan won't fall in love with any woman? who did he think she was?
"Listen little girl, since the CEO's way out of your league you should settle for me.
I might not be as rich as him but I.....can make you feel good and I'm straight" the man rubbed his thumbs on Shola's palms
Shola looked at the crowd watching, they probably all thought she was here to seduce their boss, she looked behind the man a cunning smile appeared on her face
"So you want me to sleep with you for money?" Her voice was quite loud, everyone in the the hall could hear it!
The man assumed that she had accepted and he nodded his head with a huge smile on his face, he was glad he got the girl but why did he suddenly feel so cold, he looked around and saw no all the people watching just now returned to their posts hurriedly.
His hand that was holding on to the girl's was forcefully flung away
"B....boss!, I was just telling this whor* that she didn't belong here and that you wouldn't give her any attention" He had the look of a trustworthy servant. He was sure he had impressed his boss but why was his boss still staring at him angrily
"Not only did you touch my wife with your filthy hands, you also called her names?" Nathan's voice and words made the man's knees tremble
"W....wife sir?"
"And he also told me to sleep with him....oh and he said you were bent!" Shola said innocently like she didn't know what the consequences would be for the poor man.
"Boss madam, I am terribly sorry for my rude words, I promise it won't happen again!" The man went on his knees immediately and Shola was really enjoying the show but Nathan soon ruined everything by telling her to go wait in his office.
She pouted and left in a huff.
When Nathan arrived at the office, she turned her face and faced the other way angrily.
"What is wrong with all the women in my life today, they keep getting angry at me for no reason"
"No reason?, Both Shola and Jenner said at the same time.
The both looked at each other and burst into laughter and in just a few seconds Nathan was forgotten.
Both the women chatted for a very long time before Jenner left to work, although Nathan couldn't stop her from telling some embarrassing stories about him.
"You seem to be in a better mood now" Nathan said as he sat next to Shola on the couch
"I guess so, Jenner is so cool"
Nathan stared at his wife babbling about his friend not paying any attention to him.
"Are still angry at me"
"....." this was like the phone call all over again
"What do you want?, what should I do to make you forgive me hmm?"
Shola turned to look at Nathan with no trace of anger left in her eyes " Mr Handsome, I want a kiss and..... mmph! "
Her words were immediately cut off by Nathan's kiss.
"mm" The temperature in the was increasing, searched for the zipper on Shola's dress but couldn't find one
he grunted before he broke their kiss "What sort of dress is this?" Nathan asked with a gloomy expression.
Shola held her stomach and laughed hard, she just couldn't understand him sometimes
"The zipper is right here" Shola pointed at her chest while still laughing at him, Nathan soon stopped her laughter with his lips.
He took her to the room in his office and put her on the bed, he didn't waste anytime to unzip the dress
he had a satisfied smile on his face when the dress was off Shola's body
"Why do you look like you just defeated your worst enemy?" Shola asked trying to hold back her laughter
"You have no idea " he said before he resumed his 'activities' .
