Jasmine gasped, a few people supporting Shola nodded their heads.
"You ungrateful mites !, all of you have been given the honor to work with me and yet you insult me?"
She looked at Shola, her face was already red from anger and she was breathing heavily
"As for you!...you are fired! "
"No need!" Shola said as she smiled coldly at the woman
"I quit!"
Jasmine was annoyed, she felt embarrassed, she was expecting Shola to beg for her job back but instead she got humiliated in front of every one
"You!!" Jasmine got angry and grabbed Shola's wrist.
Being experienced in martial arts, her grip was strong, firm and tight!
Shola felt her eyes sting from the pain she was experiencing.
She tried to move away but Jasmine kept tightening her grip
"Let go" Shola said as she stopped showing any signs of pain
"No!, you see these hands you used to draw those designs, those designs that are now getting to your head making you think you can question my authority
I will shatter them, and make sure you can never use them again!"
"Don't hurt my mommy!" a little scared voice said.

Nathan and Ella were immediately surrounded by the staff of the building.
The man in charge walked towards Nathan with a smile on his face
the CEO of the Legendary company L.O.D, of course he was excited.
Despite the fact that he was older he had always looked up to Nathan and admired him.
"Mr Nathan" Harry said as he shook Nathan's hand.
Nathan was holding a child in his other hand and Harry couldn't help but fawn over her, she was just too adorable.
But...she was definitely not his daughter because he had been stalking Nathan so much that he feels like he knows everything about him.
He was sure that Nathan wasn't married....right?
"Its nice to meet you Mr Harry, I've heard alot about you from my assistant here"
Harry flashed a smile at Jenner and nodded
"Please please, let me show you around"
The man led Nathan to the elevator.
"if I may ask, who is this child to you sir?" although he tried to believe in his stalking skills, his fan-boy mode wouldn't let him.
"My daughter"

The elevator opened and Nathan walked out leaving a flustered Henry in it.
His plans of getting his daughter closer to Nathan was shattered.
While deep in thought the elevator closed and started going down with him inside.
"Uh...what's up with him?, why did he look like all of his soul has been drained?"
"Daddy put me down I want to go"
Nathan put her down but still asked "Where are you going?"
Ella rubbed her eyes sleepily
"I'm going to meet mommy"
She said as she turned around and walked away.
"Mommy?, Shola? "
"No J.R, her mother is Louis Lane, lets go and stop asking obvious questions"
Jenner stared at Nathan who had already taken large strides and followed his daughter
"Why is he so grumpy?...sometimes I feel he's on his period" Jenner mumbled to herself as she followed behind them.

"Ella?, how.....how did you get here?" Shola stared at her daughter, her eyes were glistening with tears
"don't hurt mommy" she said as she started sobbing, Shola panicked and tried to break Jasmine's grip
"Let me go my daughter is crying"

"I already warned you to stop bringing your kid here"
Shola rolled her eyes, the woman was beginning to think highly of her self
"Ella what is it?, why are you crying?" Nathan asked as he squatted her and held her shoulders
"She is hurting mommy " Ella said as she pointed towards Jasmine.
It was then Nathan noticed Sholana, he stared at her wrist that was already turning purple and the other employees that just stood there doing nothing
"Mr Lu! , I'm sorry about the elevator" Henry was busy apologizing when he saw how frightening Nathan's expression was he quickly stopped talking.
He followed his line of sight and noticed that Jasmine was yet again bullying another employee.
But the only problem was that, even though this was normal the new boss was definitely going to think bad of this branch and the way they treat their their employees.
"Mommy!" The little girl cried once again and ran towards Shola, she kicked Jasmine on her shin making her lose her grip on Shola's wrist.
"Ah!, Why you little....." Jasmine grabbed the girls arm trying to squeeze it
Pap! ! !
Jasmine felt a stinging pain on her cheek, she raised her head to look t the person that slapped her
"Mr.....Mr Harry?"
Harry shoulders were trembling, he realised that the person Jasmine was bullying was the mother of Nathan's daughter and the worst part was that she actually tried to attack his daughter as well!
"Mr Lu.....Mrs Lu, I am truly sorry for Jasmine's behaviour. I promise I will give her the right punishment for this
please just try to forgive her, she is.....my wife!"
Nathan acted like he didn't hear the words of Harry and walked up to Shola.
He held her hand and observed her bruised wrist that was already swollen
"Are you okay?. Does is still hurt?"
Sholana couldn't help but shiver as his fingers brushed her skin.
She had missed his touch, she missed his care and protection. She felt like she was back to four years ago
A smile appeared on her lips "I'm fine, I'm ok"
Nathan turned around to stare at Jasmine and Harry coldly, "I think I will reconsider my decision "
He didn't leave any more words for them as he took Shola and Ella out of the building.
Jenner offered to drive while Nathan seats at the back with Shola and Ella, Shola was in the middle feeling pressured.
Ella was busy blowing on her wrists while making angry remarks while Nathan was just silent not saying a word.
"I sorry if I caused you guys inconvenience " Shola apologized while rubbing Ella's head to calm her down.
Nathan balled his hand into fists and looked at Shola.
"Inconvenience? , why would you work at a place like that?
she almost hurt your hand and you're apologizing?.
Why were you so careless Sholana. You should have thought about yourself and not the pay.
And besides if you were in need of money you should have contacted me a long time ago.!"
Nathan's voice wasn't low and even Jenner could feel his anger from the driver's seat
Shola laughed, she was angry, after everything he did add he dares......" You were the one who divorces me so why are you so worried about me?, why are you meddling?, you are no longer part of my life anyways so I don't need your lectures!"
