What's the big deal about green eyes? It must be one of her tricks. "Huang Qiuyan, stop pretending. You only have to tell me. Meeting death is better than facing what our boss has prepared for you."

"Surprise!" Huang Qiuyan raises her arms in the air.
"H-How?" Meng Su Yin's body freeze.
Huang Qiuyan hisses in pain when she stands up. Though the seal is already broken and the bleeding has stopped, her body has been damaged a lot. The chains did the most damage. "Sister-in-law, why are you afraid of me? I won't hurt you."
Meng Su Yin takes a step back, stumbles and falls on her butt. Her eyes fill with tears. Dressed in a bloody white shirt, Huang Qiuyan looks like a dead woman who rose from the grave for vengeance.
"Sister-in-law." Huang Qiuyan cocks her head and dangles fingers in the air. "Look at my hands. I can't even kill a mosquito with these hands. How can I hurt you? Relax, Sister-in-law."
She loosens up her shoulders. She must get out of the prison cell. She can't trust Huang Qiuyan. "Huang Qiuyan, sit down."
"Aish!" Huang Qiuyan sits down on the chair again. The corner of her lips curls up. "I can't even return the kindness that you showed Huang Qiuyan when she was human. That's too bad. What should I do? We must not have debts."
Why does she keep talking about herself as another person? Meng Su Yin furrows her brows. "Huang Qiuyan, why do you speak like that? Your name is Huang Qiuyan."
"Sister-in-law, you haven't recognized me?" Huang Qiuyan blinks her eyes. "We did meet once. Remember that day? Huang Qiuyan accidentally spilt coffee on you. As soon as the chain drops to the ground, Huang Wei Yi lunges forward. Meng Su Yin barely has the time to react. Huang Wei Yi pins her down. He claws her face while her horrified shrieks pervade the air.
"Who says that the dead holds no hate or regret?" Li Dai Yu mumbles. Huang Wei Yi tears Meng Su Yin's body apart bit by bit and shoves it inside his mouth while "The soul leaves the body, but some emotions remain behind. At the last moment of his life, he was filled with only tremendous hate for you, my dear sister-in-law. Though his soul is gone, his body still hates you."
People notice the screams coming from the special prison cell. Ian arrives and tries to open the door, but the lock doesn't listen to his commands anymore. "What's going on here?"
The other hunters have no idea. Abel summons his bow and shoots an arrow at the lock. It is repelled away in the air and disappears into nothing. Abel frowns. Why this lock can't be broken?
The screams are gone. It only means one thing. The vampire must have killed Meng Su Yin. Ian releases his breath. But how did Huang Qiuyan get freed? Did Meng Su Yin release her just like Huang Wei Yi did? Meng Su Yin isn't that kind of person.
Inside the cell, Li Dai Yu watches Huang Wei Yi eating Meng Su Yin's flesh. She looks at the door once. She can tell how many hunters are standing outside the door by their scents. "Huang Wei Yi, are you not full yet? If you are full, get up. She's already dead. It's no longer fun to watch."
Affected by Li Dai Yu's sing-song voice, he stops eating and turns his head toward her. Blood mixed with minuscule pieces of flesh pours from his mouth. His red swollen eyes lock at her. He steps toward her. His body is stiff and slow.
Li Dai Yu seems bored. "Stop trying to control a dead using the regret, Huang Wei Yi. Let it go."
Huang Wei Yi's soul manifests beside his body. He is trying his best to hold back the vampire-zombie from attacking his sister.
He has been here since the moment he died. He has seen everything that happened to his sister. He couldn't do anything before Huang Qiuyan released his body from the chains. He didn't manifest before her until now. When Huang Qiuyan mentioned that his body carried immense regret, he knew that he owed his sister a lot. But he's just a ghost. He can only affect the emotions for a while. He can't hold back his body for long.
"Yan'er, you must run away."
"I am not Huang Qiuyan," She replies with a cold tone and walks toward Huang Wei Yi's body. It grabs her shoulders and gnarls at her.
"Huang Qiuyan," Huang Wei Yi begs.
"Li Dai Yu." She grabs the vampire-zombie's jaw before it could bite her. "Your sister is gone. Stop calling me by her name."
She thrusts her other hand on the vampire-zombie's throat and seizes the life force. The moment she pulls it out of the body, Huang Wei Yi sees it disintegrate into dust. The life force is absorbed by Li Dai Yu. She feels a warmth spreading through her dried veins. This body needs to reach immortality before her magic kills it.
She needs more.
"Yan'er." Huang Wei Yi stares at his sister. Did she really mean the words that she said? How can a person change like this? "I know that I did horrible things to you. I should have stopped Meng Su Yin back then."
"You should have stopped her then." Li Dai Yu blinks her eyes once. "You are just a ghost. Shouldn't you look for your mother?"
"I couldn't find her." Huang Wei Yi lowers his head. "I found her body, but her soul is nowhere to be seen."
"It's none of my business." Li Dai Yu scratches her chin. "Huang Qiuyan's last wish before she fell asleep was that your body must not wander like a vampire-zombie. I guess that she cared about you more than she cared about her mother. I granted that wish of hers. Don't think that I can't eat ghosts. You better stay away from me, Huang Wei Yi.
