In a close fight like this and considering our not much gap in power level, a clean hit is needed to do some significant damage to our opponents and affects the flow of the fight significantly after that.
With the initiative is already in my hand from our first exchange earlier, I started to land a series of consecutive blows toward my father without giving him any time to rest or recover.
Each of my blows carry the whole strength and weight shifted from my whole body towards my punch with the intention of ending the fight at each and every punch that I throw at my father.
This is an advise that I get from a certain SeaKing on how to make a combo punch eventhough he got killed in one punch later on.
Any half assed consecutive blow that is being thrown out without any weight behind each punch, cannot be considered as a combo at all.
Sensing that my father's guard on his right has started to open up a little bit after each of my heavy punch, I immediately went for a right body blow towards his right rib, aiming for a clean hit when his guard had loosen enough to allow me to go for it.
But, before I could land my body blow on his body's right rib, my combat instincts suddenly felt alarmed and my body reacted instantaneously to evade an incoming kick from my father, aiming for a very slight opening during my right hand's swinging motions.
I immediately dash backwards to keep our distance. If thats kick really connected there, I will be sent into a passive state immediately, receiving father's full counter attack.
"Damn, I almost got baited for a moment there, by deliberately lowering his defence and preparing for a counter the instance I went for it."
