Ryth placed the ebony sword on his mouth and then drawn out [Vengeance], forming his fighting stance.
"Daedalus! Turn on the team voice chat function!" Ryth instructed. "Connect the chat to Azalea, as well. I will explain this to her."

Since Azalea's first job was a swordswoman, she doesn't really have a staff. However, she also doesn't have a sword after her sword was stolen by the bandits. To protect herself, she made a defensive stance, looking around for the blue serpent, when suddenly a voice rang in her mind.
"Yo! It's me, Ryth."
Azalea jumped in surprise as she looked around for the voice. "What the heck! Where did that came from??" she exclaimed.
She heard Ryth clearing his throat awkwardly. And then he said, "I'm talking with you telepathically."
Azalea gasped. "Eh, you can do that too?? Is this one of your skills, as well??" she asked, still in shock.
Ryth laughed awkwardly in the chat. "Uh, yeah. Its a skill of mine where I used it to communicate with the three of you. But only I can talk into your mind. So, if you want to reply to me, you have to say it out loud, okay?" he explained.
Azalea looked over at Ryth with a weird look. "He has a skill like that…?" she thought. "I thought he is just a normal swordsman."
She then faced towards where the blue serpent is and nodded. "Sure. I understand," she replied, going back to her defensive stance.
"Hill! Go attack the blue serpent with all of your skills!" Ryth shouted in the chat. "Make sure that you hit its vulnerable parts!"
"Understood!"
The giant blue serpent swam above the water in an astonishing speed, swimming towards them.
Ryth then shouted in the chat, "Everyone! Fallback! We will battle it out on the ground!"
The three of them immediately jumped back further on land.
The area around the lake was a grassland, filled with few trees, surrounding the lake. It makes them easier to move around the area, avoiding the blue serpent.
Ryth readied his weapon to face off the big serpent as the {Eye of Daedalus} turned red.
"SHAAA!"
The big serpent came out from the water and slithered towards Ryth. When it was near to Ryth, it opened its huge fangs. However, Llyod quickly blocked the attack, using his skills.
{Heavy Swing}!
"CLANG!" The sounds from the clashes of the sword and the fangs made the air vibrate and gushed out. Llyod's ebony greatsword could only blocked it but it does no damage to the fangs. However, since Llyod's strength is really high, he could withstand its power.
As the blue serpent was distracted by Llyod, Ryth immediately saw the chance and shouted, "Attack its belly! Only those special material weapons can attack the scales physically!"
"Understood!" Llyod and Hill shouted.
Ryth's swords glowed with blue light, and he disappeared.
"Llyod, switch!"

"SHAAA!" the big serpent screamed angrily as it swung its tail towards Ryth.
Ryth jumped over its tail, avoiding the attack and activated his skill {Deflect}. The skill helped him moved around its tail in the air fluidly. And he immediately activated another skill.

The three swords cut through the big serpent scale.

After the attack, Ryth safely landed on the ground and hurriedly step back, switching with Llyod to block the blue serpent.
Ryth turned to Azalea. "Azalea! Go attack the serpent with a Lightning element magic type!" he instructed.
"Ehhh…! But I can only use water and wind elements! I don't concentrate much on my magic spells since its only my second job," Azalea said, flustered.
"Then, can you make a solid water barrier? like a floating, flat, simple one?"
"Yeah, sure, I guess."
"Great!" Ryth exclaimed. "On my call, attack it first with your wind element magic! After that, you can cast the barrier!"
"Okay!" Azalea answered, concentrating on her casting.
On the other side of the lake, just near Azalea, Hill keeps on shooting his arrows on the blue serpent's vulnerable part, especially the broken scale which was hit by Ryth earlier.

"SHAAA!" the big serpent screamed in pain. It turned to where Hill was and was about to attack him when a gushed of wind knocked it back.

The big serpent fell against the trees from across the lake, crushing them. As it struggled to get up, another wind crushed it right on its head.

"Holy crap!" Ryth exclaimed in shock, his eyes widened. "She's so strong! She should be at least level 35! If her magician class is only her second class… imagine her skills as a swordswoman!"
He narrowed his eyes. "Now, I'm getting more curious as to how did she end up being caught by those bandits," he murmured to himself.
As the battle goes on, Llyod and Ryth moved together, running towards the blue serpent. Llyod activated all of his skills while Ryth imbued [Ryuujin's Will] with his mana. He lifted his weapon up and when lighting appeared on the katana, Ryth instantly activated a skill.

Its HP fell to 65% really quickly. With Azalea, Hill, and Llyod repeatedly attacking the blue serpent, giving it no chance to move, Ryth used the opportunity to use all of his basic skills as well.

After Ryth's {Whirlwind} ended, he lifted the two swords on his hands towards the big serpent, yellow lights glow on the three swords.

"Back off!" Ryth shouted.
Llyod had back off before Ryth shouted.
Once the both of them were in a safe spot, Ryth activated his {Deflect} skill and he jumped to avoid the blue serpent's tail when it was about to hit him. He then activated another skill in the air.

After he avoided the big serpent's tail attack, Llyod advanced.

Hill attacked it with all of his skills as well. The big serpent HP dropped quickly to 50%.
"SHAAA!" the serpent let out a screech, text boxes appeared above everyone's heads.

Ryth got dizzy all of a sudden. It's like the world seems to be spinning around. He touched his head, trying to stabilized his mind.
"Ugh!"
"Hang in there!" shouted Daedalus.
The serpent launched an attack towards Ryth and just when its fangs was about to bite Ryth, Ryth had regained his normal state, a blue light covered his body. He immediately activated {Deflect} as he twisted around to avoid the attack.
After he had avoided the attack, he activated another skill.

Ryth jumped and did a front flip. The swords radiated with yellow lights as it slashed at the serpent's neck.

When Ryth regained his conscious, he realized that the one who cancelled the effect was Azalea. She had casted a purify water element magic to him and the other two. She literally just saved their lives.
Llyod quickly rushed towards the blue serpent, jumping up as he shouted.

Hill also doesn't waste time and repeatedly shoot his arrows, without fail.
Its HP quickly fell to 30%.
It was then the serpent saw Azalea behind the three of them, casting. It seems to realized that it was Azalea's cast that helps to debuff the effect. It slithered quickly towards the girl, hissing in anger. It then let out a stream of water, like a dragon breathe out fire.
Llyod and Hill became anxious when they saw that the serpent had changed its target to Azalea.
Azalea's face turned pale as well. This is because she doesn't have any strong defensive spell that could help her in this attack, other than her water barriers. If she have her sword, she might be able to stand on her own.
As the serpent keeps attacking her, Azalea could only keep up with her water barriers, which were broken one by one.
Just as an attack were about to hit her, a shadow appeared in front of her.
Azalea blinked her eyes in surprise. The shadow in front of her was actually Ryth, who had used {Fast Steps} to get to her. He quickly opened a scroll and activated a skill.
{Mana Shield}!
A white colored mana ball covered them just as the water stream was about to hit them. The attack hit the shield, instead. However, the mana shield didn't even budge an inch, not receiving any damage from the attack.
Ryth looked back at Azalea and thanked her for earlier.
Azalea blushed and nodded.
She then looked at the mana shield around them. She was surprised to find that it is a high-level mana shield. She didn't expect that Ryth could have this skill as backup.
Azalea sighed inwardly as she thought, "I was planning to repay my debt to you with that debuff. And now, here you are saving me again…"
Ryth turned back to face the serpent. After the water stream attack has failed to penetrate through the mana shield, the serpent tried to retreat back. However, Ryth was already furious because he had to used that rare scroll. "You will pay for forcing me to use that rare magic scroll," he hissed in anger.
