Aki kept begging Gin to let him play along with him, but Gin would not budge as his pride would not allow him to dishonor the agreement we agreed to. I was happy they gave into my selfish desires since I barely played in games anyway so when I did decide to play it was a serious match and made me go hard in it. The team gladly supported me and told me they would help me with any of my decisions. I dribbled the ball down past the half-court line and took the shot giving us the first three points. Gin got excited after seeing that as he said:" there he goes the first one to break the ice I'm loving this match already". I could only shake my head as I thought this guy was extremely crazy even though his English was imperfect I could still understand most of the things he was saying. They brought down the ball and passed it to Gin. Gin grabbed the ball with both of his palms as a glint flashed in his eyes. Gin charged right through my whole team and dunked it on Momba. The whole stadium was silenced and then after a few seconds, it erupted in cheers. I told my teammates to pick their heads up that it was just the first point we were still winning and that three-pointers were still better than two points. They got shook awake as they passed the ball to me to bring it once again Gin came to cover me as he met me at the half-point line he laughed and said: "we can't let you take those half-court shots from now on".I smirked but didn't say anything as I dribbled it up to the three-point line. I pretended like I was about to take a shot getting him in the air as I sidestepped and took the shot to give us another three points. Everybody had put up their hands with the three signs as soon as I took the shot. The ball went in causing the crowd to shout at the same time "splash!!!!!". While we were still celebrating Gin had already gotten the ball and had run full speed to go in for the dunk to shut the whole crowd up as he started lifting his arms up and flexing his muscles. I quickly told my guys that they should focus on defense and not let him do things like that. When Gin heard that he could only laugh as we started another play. In one of the plays I tried to use GoldenEye on Gin but the results were not what I was expecting as I gained a sharp headache. I grind my teeth in pain, Gin saw this and quickly stole the ball to go to the other side for the dunk. I immediately assumed that my GoldenEye wouldn't work on him. The next play I was going to try my time freeze, as soon as I had gotten the ball Gin was all over me. Momba came and set a pick for me as Gin tried to go around Momba, but I had stopped behind Momba and did my famous behind the pick shot. The crowd was hype as they kept saying splash and chanting MVP. Gin got annoyed by this as he turned his game up a notch. Before the half, he had tired up all the starters and most of the bench due to running full speed the whole game. I had to admit his stamina was quite on par with mine and at one point it seemed like he had gotten hurt but he got right back up and walked it off like nothing happened. This guy was a complete monster and I knew he had to have an ability in order to be so reckless on the court.I thought he had to have unlimited stamina as his ability but I didn't want to jump to conclusions.By the end of the half, we were up by five points which surprised everybody. Gin didn't have a single sweat on his forehead as I thought this guy definitely has an ability just like mine the unlimited stamina. Gin also noticed that I didn't have a single sweat on me after running full speed back and forth with him all game. Gin approached me and asked me "you have abilities don't you otherwise you wouldn't be number one and what are your abilities if you do have them". I shook my head and said," I don't know what you're talking about". Gin laughed and said," fine keep it to yourself but you're definitely not winning this game". I smirked and just left him without saying a word as I went to go rest in the locker rooms with the other players. The coach was in the locker room cursing out Gin saying that he's a complete monster and he's totally insane. He does all these crazy plays with the risk of injuring his body but still doesn't care. Gin had already injured two of our players so Coach was frustrated. I quickly stopped the coach and told him that I'll cover Gin from now on everybody else should just focus on the other players. Coach got excited as he said, "yes that's a great idea but are you sure aren't you tired"? I smiled embarrassed as I said a little tired but this game is very important to me and my throne so I have to give it my all in order to keep being number one. The coach said "well said" as everybody rested up until the game started back up again, during the halftime we even had a show as a few circus members came to perform doing all kinds of tricks.
