"Yes, Miss Sarah, is there anything I can help you with?" Chris asked with a smile.

"You... You... You know what you did!" Sarah said angrily.

"Why I do not know what you are talking about ma'am. I simply did as you told and stayed inside this entire time," Chris replied calmly.

"You think I'm an idiot? How convenient is it that you somehow knocked the guard that I sent and then after about some time, Alfonso is dead and in such a manner too? I also happened to know that your sister was also kidnapped. Oh and Chloe was the only one that was out of the cage. I cannot believe this. There is no way that you were able to kill 20 men, but... there's no other explanation!"

"I mean the evidence you got are all coincidental,"

"Let me tell you the final piece of evidence. There happened to be a security camera extremely near to the warehouse. With our technology, we saw a man wearing a black outfit running straight towards the warehouse,"

"What? That's it? Ok, let me tell you that black is a popular color. Anyone could wear black in the night," Chris refuted.

"Hmph, trying to feign ignorance. The guard that you knocked unconscious woke up and told us that it was you after he saw this mysterious person running the security camera," Sarah said confidently.

Chris couldn't say anything. His calm demeanor started to fade and nervousness started to form.

"Miss Sarah, I helped this case so..."

"Yes, but in exchange you have endangered the your life and potentially numerous women who could've been killed in your fight!" Sarah said.

"Yes, but I didn't," Chris said.

"Oh, that's what all of you Masters say to me when you guys almost screw up," Sarah said with anger.

"Wait, you know about Masters too?" Chris asked surprised.

"Of course. There are numerous powerful Masters here or else how can we protect the country from crimes from those unruly Masters. At first I didn't think of this since you didn't seem like one, but I just thought of it as a 1% possibility and judging by your reaction, you are one," Sarah said.

Seeing that his tongue slipped, Chris started to panic even more.

"So, now that you know, what are you going to do? Take me away?"

"Well, not exactly. There is nothing I can really do. I can't take you to jail for killing those 20 people since they were evil. I also can't force you to join the FBI. However, I can offer you a job in the Special Forces Division of the FBI," Sarah said.

"Yeah, no. I decided to go to computer science and work at a prestigious tech company to make sure that my parents regret that they ever neglected me," Chris said while sighing in relief knowing that Sarah couldn't force him to do anything.

"Let me say some conditions before you deny. First we'll pay you $20,000 a month. We'll also give you a Silver Card. This card is like a black card, but for government members. Furthermore, you'll still attend school. We'll only call you if there is an emergency. Let me also tell you that since you did not follow orders, the 5 million dollar agreement is null, but if you join, your reward will be given and for every job, depending on the difficulty, there will be extra rewards given. Let me tell you, from what I have seen in the past few years, money doesn't become the main resources to Masters and when you see that you'll realize that the FBI can suit your needs quite well," Sarah said.

'Hmph, she's probably talking about cultivation resources. If it's talking about that, I have the best supplier in the entire universe,' Chris thought as he was only mildly interested because of the money. While he was tempted by the 5 million dollars before, he started to realize that with the system, he could make millions or even billions. He didn't need the FBI's assistance. However, before he could deny the offer, the System spoke..

-Host, I believe that joining the FBI would be only beneficial to you.-

'Oh how so?' Chris asks surprised that the System would even say anything that wasn't quest related or something that insulted him.

-With the FBI giving missions, the System has more quests that can be given out which means more Hacker Points. Furthermore, little quests such as winning a tennis game cannot even match up to capturing a criminal. Furthermore, the criminals that the FBI catch are usually big names so Host can receive much more Hacker Points than catching regular criminals.-

Hearing this, Chris started to become a bit agitated.

'If this isn't a fast way to level up both my cultivation and Hacker Level, what is?'

"Fine, I accept the offer," Chris said trying not to show his eagerness to join the FBI.

"Good, with another Master working for the country, we'll have much more peace. Thank you for your services," Sarah said. "You're in the safe house right? Someone will pick you up to take you to school. We'll prepare a uniform for you. We also prepared a separate bank account for your wages from the FBI. We'll insert the 5 million dollars and give you the debit card and the silver card," Sarah said.

"Alright. Don't prepare the uniform though. I'll just wear the ones I wore on the day you guys brought me here," Chris said.

...

It was silent on Sarah's side.

"Alright don't get close with your stinky ass at schoo- I mean alright if that is your wish," Sarah said.

"Your thoughts were out for way too long!" Chris shouted.
