Following behind the excited Butcher; Wang Tao and Pulse were puzzled. What could it be that got him so excited?
'I wonder if he catched a Dragon this time, i remember him dreaming of owning one' thought Pulse to himself as he himself was starting to get excited
"Come on Butcher, tell us, what did you catch this time?"
Finally, not being able to bear up with the big grin on Butcher's face and the excitement that was welling inside him, Pulse asked him.
"Hehehe.... do you remember me telling you that me and my boys discovered a new plane?" asked Butcher with a grin on his face
"You did mention this, but you also told me that plane is so strange that it's like going inside a sea of flowers where you could be eaten by any carnivore flower laying around. Don't tell me..."
"Exactly. The three squads of Royal Enslavers i sent finally came back with some good news. They discovered a village. An elf village to be precise. We suspect that it's a branch of the Elves that got scattered in the myriad of planes after the bitter Dimensional Battles from the past and they took refugee there but lost connection with the space so they were unable to return."
"Even if it's like that, are you sure you're willing to provoke the Elven Race? They're a bunch of lunatics!" said Pulse with a wry smile on his face
"Who cares, the value of what my men sent me is incomparable to anything else i have, i'm sure you'll be surprised once you see it yourself."
Listening from the side at their discussion, Wang Tao couldn't help but sigh. Great, from a normal student with a normal life, he ended up hanging out with slave traders. What a twist of life!
As they were getting closer to Butcher's new place, Wang Tao's eyes widened in surprise!
'And what the heck happened here? Wasn't it supposed to be a city? How the hell did it end up razed to the ground???'
"I knew you're gonna be surprised, boy! Hahahahaha!" laughed Butcher out loud as he saw Wang Tao's reaction
"How did this happen?" asked Wang Tao full of curiosity
For about five hundred square meters the whole place was razed to the ground, the buildings gone, replaced by new medieval-like looking huts. The paved roads were gone and instead, a beautiful emerald-like grassy area appeared in front of him as the roads gave a refreshed feeling to anyone looking if it was not for the bloodstains that formed puddles here and there.
In the distance, Wang Tao could see dwarfs working hard to build a huge building split in different compartiments and he didn't even want to think about who's gonna stay there.
"Do you like it? It's not hard at all, a bit of magic and everything can happen. Plus, the dwarfs that i hired are one of the best craftsman out there, so probably in another few days my whole place is gonna be finished. Do you see that big building they're working on? That's where my slaves are gonna be! If you're interested, you're free to visit me later on. I got the best quality women and pets. Oh, you might even be interested in my new collection of Hellhounds from the Abyss Plane, they're not that strong in the beginning, but if you feed them well, it might evolve into a Cerberus, the king of the Hellhounds. What do you say?" blabbered Butcher non-stop spitting spit everywhere as he introduced his merchandise, treating the slaves and even the poor renowned Hellhounds that were used to scare kids as simple, mere dogs ready to be sold at an auction
"I think i'll pass..thank you..." said Wang Tao with a wry smile on his face
Shrugging his shoulders, Butcher didn't say anything else as they finally arrived in front of a house. Opening the door, Butcher took long strides in as Wang Tao and Pulse followed behind him.
The building looked small from outside, but once he entered inside, the interior turned out to be immense, surprising Wang Tao greatly!
"Don't be surprised, the entrance of the house connects us to a different space supported by Butcher's powers." said Pulse plainly as he followed Butcher in excitement, leaving no room for more questions from Wang Tao
'Just a different space, made by his own powers? I wonder if i'll be able to do something like this as well when i get stronger...' thought Wang Tao to himself in excitement
"We're finally here!" said Butcher with excitement as he opened a door before striding in
Following behind him, as soon as he stepped inside, Wang Tao was hit by a refreshing wave of pure energy and fresh air that surprised him greatly.
In the middle of the room, inside a one meter long cage stood a figure emanating an emerald-like green energy from her body, as her beautiful green eyes looked at the intruders with terror.
The figure took the form of a young child of about 7-8 years old, who's body was formed from energy as none of her body parts looked like a normal humans.
"You're crazy Butcher!" all of a sudden Pulse screamed angrily as his finger trembled as he pointed at Butcher with a terrified look on his face
"I am crazy, of course i am crazy, we're all crazy you f*****g moron! If i'm not crazy, how do you expect me to earn a living as a slave trader? Calm down for a second and let me explain." answered Butcher nonchalantly, not minding his words at all
"Calm down? Explain? How are you gonna explain that, it's a god damn Royal Wisp what you got here!! If the elves find out, we're in deep shit! They'll probably send all their armies including the Royal Elven Guards to hunt us down just because of this!" being ignored by Butcher, the veins on Pulse's face started to be visible as he screamed at the top of his lungs in anger
"I told you, calm down. Look at the collar she's wearing. It's able to seal all her powers and not even the Elves will be able to detect her presence unless they're at least 10 meters close to her. We're fine." finally, with Butcher's words Pulse started to calm down for a moment as he thought for a moment
"Fine... but better get rid of her fast, otherwise, we'll be in deep shit if word spreads that we captured a Royal Wisp." said Pulse with a sigh
"No worries, that's why i asked for this boy to come. Finding out that he's a Beast Tamer and that the Legacy he obtained is no ordinary was truly a surprise to me! Come on boy, go closer, try to communicate with her. She hasn't said a word since she was brought here!" said Butcher as he pushed Wang Tao closer to the cage under the terrified girls eyes
With a wry smile on his face, Wang Tao approchaed the cage as he stared with interest at the girl. It was the first time that he ever met such an interesting lifeform, of course he would be interested in her!
"Umm...hello..?" clearing his throat, said Wang Tao with the friendliest smile he could muster on his face as he waved at the girl
"..."
A second, two seconds... five seconds, ten seconds later, the girl still looked at him weirdly, frieghtened at the person in front of her.
"Can you speak..?" tried Wang Tao again, still with a forced smile on his face
"..."
Still getting no answer, he sighed in defeat. Just as he wanted to turn around, he heard the girl's voice.
"You..."
Finally hearing a word from her, Wang Tao was elated.
"Yes?" said Wang Tao again with an excited smile on his face
This time, it didn't take that long for the girl to answer. Gulping down a mouthful of god knows what saliva an entity made of energy had , the girl tried to put a strong front as she pointed a finger at him before saying.
"You're a baddie! You..you...you're a baddie traitor, the baddiest of the baddiest traitors!"
