Chapter 1 ~ Leveling
For now, I will do simple work until I become strong enough to eat humans.
I continue eating different kinds of animals in order to further improve the control over my skills.
Other than the「Winged rabbit」, I continue to consume rare animals such as, a face of cat and a body of eel 「Eel Cat」, a bird that keeps pecking you if you don’t return the money that you burrowed from it 「Loan Bird」, 「Reversed man fish」a fish with a lower half of that of a human.
Because of my hardwork I reached level 10 with HP of 1000, Trap Point of 500 and range of 30 meter.
The skills that I can use also increased as I learned 「Replicate」「Single Scissor」.
I think I’ve grown strong enough to start hunting humans.
However, as we all know humans are an intellectual animal. With a simple traps from before will not be able to capture them. Most likely, even the vine won’t be able to bind them.
So, I decided to use the new skills I acquired 「Replicate」 and 「Single Scissors」.
The 「Replicate」skill utilizes the animals that are already consumed and form a organism with the same appearance of it by using the part of my body. Of course it does have the ability to move but it can’t go any further than my Capturable Domain.
I am thinking of Replicating the Winged Rabbit that humans are more likely to hunt.
I exhausted 150 Trap Points and replicated 3 「Winged Rabbit」and then consumed 300 Trap Points to set 3 「Single Scissors」, now I’ve got 50 Trap points left.
「Single Scissor」 is a skill that places a trap that activates when one steps on it. It acts like a mouse trap.
Well then, a human spotted! He is an old man with a white hair with white beard holding a bow gun. The hunt begins.
“Ooh, isn’t that a 「Winged Rabbit」!”
The old man spotted the Winged Rabbit and aimed the bow gun.
I moved the Winged Rabbit to make it seem as if it is alive.
The old man followed the Winged Rabbit slowly while looking out for an opening.
I purposely stopped the Winged Rabbit’s movement and created an opening.
The Oldman without missing the opening shot at the Winged Rabbit.
“Yahooo!”
The Old man shouted in great delight, and showed a guts pose, he seemed like a kid.
The old man approached the defeated Winged Rabbit in order to collect it. After closing the distance between the two, the old man extended his arms.
In that moment, in front of my eyes these words appeared “Will you activate it? [Yes] [No]”
In truth, just below where the Winged rabbit lied was a Single Scissor trap that I placed before. So I purposely brought the rabbit here and made an act of being defeated.
Of course I select the [Yes] and activated the trap. The leafs closed in a matter of second trapping the old man.
“Uaaa! What in the world is thisssssss!”
Capture successful. From then on its just a matter of patience and wait till his stamina deplete.
“He, Help meee! Mary! Carlos!”
This is bad, the Oldman is causing ruckus and calling his friends for help.
I will be in a big trouble if a witness were to appear while Im eating.
My identity as a Man Eating Flower will be found out, and I will be subjugated.
I can deal with one or two humans at once but if more were to group up and attack me, I won’t last a second at my level. This is why humans are so hard to hunt.
What should I do…….
