‘The shape of the village looks the same, but the houses are quite different. The ones here actually look better.’
This was the type of feeling that Id had gotten while staring intently at the village.
“Now, we need to find a place to stay at first. And, before that, let’s buy some clothes for Id. His current clothes are too eye catching.”
This was said by Reindelph, someone who didn’t care about anyone else’s safety except his own. The other members of the group had surprised looks on their faces as they nodded their heads and laughed. Id seemed to have his eyes on Grey’s clothes, and having noticed this, the dwarf Reindelph stared at Id with displeased eyes. The cowardly Reindelph didn’t like it when people stared his way, but because of Id’s clothes, there were many eyes staring from afar. Not realizing this, Id even felt thankful to the little dwarf.
“Alright, then let’s go to the clothing store first.”
“Ah, there it is.”
Hael had found a clothing store by the roadside of the village. However, Illan yawned as he pointed towards a different direction.
“There’s an inn over there, so let’s reserve a room first before we go. I’m also starving.”
With Illan’s words, the feet that were moving towards the clothing store suddenly stopped, and began to walk towards the inn.
The name of the inn was called ‘Si-an’.
“Welcome.”
The front desk was installed by the door, and a woman with an ample appearance was working there.
“We wish to stay for a night. Do you have any rooms?”
The chubby lady quietly replied back.
“Yes, of course. Are you okay with 2 rooms? Each with 3 beds.”
“2 rooms with 3 beds?”
Illan shook his head.
“There are 3 men and 3 women, so…….”
As Illan began to make giggling noises, the rest of the group giggled as well.
“No, we need a room with 4 beds, and another with 2 beds. Our group only has 2 women.”
Although the owner lady was caught by surprise, she was in the industry for a while, so she was able to skillfully turn over the situation.
“Oh my, I seem to have made a mistake. It’s because it’s difficult to see any elves around here…….you guys can use Room 202 and Room 204. They’re both on the 2nd floor, and are right across from each other.”
With those words, everyone within the group tried their best not to laugh, as they covered their mouths and headed towards the 2nd floor. The woman at the front desk later became conscience of Id’s chest, and lamented at the fact that her eyes were becoming obsolete.
As the group put away their luggage, they came back down, ate their food, then went to the clothing store that was close by, and bought Id some clothes. As they returned to the inn, the group was overcome with exhaustion, so they soon fell into a deep sleep. And for Id, this was his first night sleeping in a new world, so whether he was uncomfortable with the bed or was caught up with something else, he tossed and turned for the rest of the night.
