Kravitz, The Owner of the Weapon Store 32

Instead of going to the pile of boxes, the owner this time opened the door to the storage and walked inside. Id quickly followed right behind him, and the curious group followed as well. There was nothing special that could be seen inside. Just like most storages, there were plenty of junk rolling around on the ground, and everything in general seemed to be quite messy.

“You should clean up a bit. If Small Lake had seen this, he would’ve freaked out.”

Kravitz nodded his head quietly as if to agree.

“That’s true. However, it just happened because I was gathering things here and there.”

As Id and Kravitz were busy arguing about the pricing, they seemed to have gotten a bit closer with each other. This time, if a random person was to see this situation, they would think that a granddaughter was asking her grandpa to buy her something, or it also looked like a grandpa was consoling his angry granddaughter. Either way, the group couldn’t shake the fact that Id and Kravitz had formed some sort of bond with each other.

For Id, it was his first time meeting an expert in an unfamiliar place, and it reminded him of his own world. Obviously for Kravitz as well, he felt familiar to a young friend like Id, who could notice what type of person he was.

“Do we have to look through all of this to find it?”

“No. There’s only one sword that you would be looking for. Mm, let’s see. I could’ve sworn I threw it somewhere around here. Ah, here it is.”

Kravitz bent his waist and began to look through a section. A moment later, he pulled something out, and the curious group members began to follow Kravitz’s hand movements.

The small storage suddenly fell into disorder as clouds of smoke rose into the air, but nobody complained. Of course, Grey was the only one that had to be quiet, but whenever it came to swords, Grey would even pop up out of his sleep for it. With a very intrigued look, Grey continued to stare at the dealings between Id and Kravitz. Within Kravitz’s hands, a dust filled, murky looking sword was there.

“I don’t know if it’s because it’s been sitting in here for a while, but it’s completely become filled with dust.”

Grabbing one end of the sword, Kravitz tapped it.

Clink clink!

“Cough, sigh, this damn dust. Mm, this scabbard is completely unable to be used.”

Roughly having dusted off the sword, black spots of rust could be seen. Kravitz nonchalantly passed the abandoned sword over to Id.

“Here it is. You’re going to have to find another scabbard for it.”

As the dried rust fell off little by little, Id grabbed the handle and carefully began to pull the sword out.

Clank! Ze ze ze.

Pulling out the sword, it was also filled with dust as there were no sparkles that could be seen on the blade. Different from a long sword, the blade was slightly smaller and thinner, similar to the swords used in his own country. Carefully inspecting the blade, Id found a very vague looking design on the center of the sword. With this, he could speculate that the sword was another magic sword.

Id now believed that anything that had a strange pattern to it, had something to do with magic. He’s already experienced several scenarios of such thus far. However, after confirming with Lamia, the sword truly turned out to be a magic sword.

[Yes, it is. There seems to be a lighting attack, and protector magic enchanted onto it.]

Id slightly nodded his head and put the scabbard down. As he continued to dust off the sword, Id stared at Kravitz.

“It’s really nice. How much do you want me to give you if you also add in the new scabbard?”

Kravitz, who was busy looking through another section of the storage, turned around and threw something at Id. It was a blue scabbard.

“With that scabbard included, I’ll just take 2 Golden.”

Hearing the price of 2 Golden, Grey once again began to complain, but Id was the complete opposite.

“Are you really going to give this to me for so cheap? I told you earlier that I would be willing to give you more.”

This time even Reindelph could not hold himself back. As he tried to stop Id from making the deal, Illan and Hael also joined in.

“It’s okay. That’s how much I’m willing to take for it. Just make sure to visit often.”

Id put his hand into the bag that was holding his gems. And, grabbing whatever he could, he threw it over to Kravitz.

“Just take it. I won’t feel comfortable to come back next time if you don’t.”

“Alright, if you say so.”

Gently rolling his eyes as he examined the gloss on the gem, Kravitz put the gem away into the safe. The group stared at Kravitz as if he was a scammer, then walked outside. Id was the only one happy.

“I really had some great luck today.”

“Hey! What do you mean your luck was great.”

Not knowing what the situation was, the group couldn’t understand why Id was so happy. Without answering anybody, Id passed a short sword over to Irlina.

“Irlina, this is a present for you. I don’t have to tell you on how to use it, right?”

The answer that the group was waiting for came out from Irlina’s mouth instead. After examining the skinny short sword within her hand, Irlina opened her eyes widely and stared at Id.

“This………isn’t this a magic sword?”

It was at this moment, that the rest of the group members yelled out in one voice.

“What, magic sword?”

“Is that really true, Irlina? Can I see it for a moment.”

Having noticed nothing within the weapon store, Illan took the short sword from Irlina, then made a surprised expression.

“Hmm, Windblade is enchanted to it. Quite the skill they have. But, Id, if this is a magic sword, then the others…….”

Illan passed the short sword back to Irlina, as Id laughed and pulled out the rest of the swords.

“That’s right, everything that I bought are magic swords.”

Grey rushed over to the swords as quickly as he could, but Illan raised his hand and stopped him from moving forward. Illan continued to speak with surprise in his voice.

“How are there so many artifacts gathered in one store. That’s really amazing. However, the cheap price that you were talking about earlier…….was this what you were talking about?”

“Of course. More than anything, can you look over this dagger?”

This time, Id pulled out a dagger.

“This is….shield, it’s been enchanted with a protective spell. But, I still don’t understand you or the owner of the store.”

Receiving the dagger back from Illan, Id passed it over to Hael.

“This is a present I’m giving to Hael.”

Receiving such an unexpected gift, Hael stood frozen for a moment, but a flowery smile could soon be seen on her face.

“Are you really giving this to me?”

“Of course.”

As Id picked up the long sword, Illan received the sword and began to inspect it.

And, on one side of the group, Grey was staring at the long sword with huge expectations within his eyes. Since Irlina and Hael had received their own weapons respectively, he figured that he would be getting a gift as well, and was quite anticipating what Id was going to do with the sword. At that moment, an exclamation from Illan could be heard.

“Amazing! A high rank lightning attack called Lightning Bolt is enchanted on here, and so is Protector, a type of shield magic. It’s a considerable sword. With this much, the price…….”

Grabbing the sword back, Id stared at Grey who still had his eyes locked on the sword.

Id was originally planning on giving this sword to Grey, but because it reminded him so much of his own country, he felt a bit reluctant to part with it. That’s why, he decided he would hold onto it for now, and give it to Grey at a later date.
