Chapter 124: Fuzzy Power System

Sizing up the baby tiger transformation of her daughter, who was as tall as her waist when standing up, Wu Zijuan’s mother almost fainted.

Supporting his wife, Wu Zijuan’s father who already couldn’t recognize his daughter,  before he could say something was immediately interrupted by the noise from the door and the hallway.

“407! It’s this family. We all heard clearly that the sudden tiger scream came from this house!”

“Comrade, you must stop them!”

“They’re raising a tiger in their house. If the tiger runs out, we will be done!”

“Come open the door!”

“Hide! You have to hide!”

Although Wu Zijuan’s father didn’t know that his neighbors just called the police 10 minutes ago, he instinctively did not want outsiders to see his daughter.

“Dad……but I have no place to hide?”

There was no extra space for Wu Zijuan to hide in the three-bedroom, one-living-room, one-bathroom and one-kitchen house.

When they were still panicked, the security door was opened by the staff, and a group of police officers holding anesthetic air guns took the lead to come in.

Subsequently, a large number of people in the neighborhood also took the opportunity to look around.

“Such a big tiger without any reins, aren’t you afraid that the tiger will harm someone?”

“Wow! They really raised a tiger at home!”

“Is this a South China Tiger or a Northeast Tiger? I am so excited! This is the first time I have seen a tiger outside the zoo!”

“A tiger! I know I didn’t get it wrong! Its roar didn’t sound like the amplification of the video sound.”

“Rich people in Dubai raise Bengal tigers at home because they’re crazily rich. You look ordinary, so why do you have such a unique hobby?”

Ignoring the residents, several police officers carefully aimed at the tiger in front of them, and  asked the parents to quickly get aside and not stop them from capturing such a high-risk wild animal.

Resting on her husband’s shoulder for a moment, Wu Zijuan’s mother had reluctantly accepted the bizarre incident of her daughter becoming a tiger.

Now she saw so many policemen rushing in, and they seemed to be trying to capture the tiger, she immediately became anxious.

“It’s not a tiger! She is my daughter Wu Zijuan. Don’t hurt her…”

Seeing Wu Zijuan’s mother begging in front of the tiger, several policemen were surprised. “Aunt, aren’t you awake? This is clearly a tiger!”

“We will capture it with anesthetic air guns so that no one will be hurt.”

Wu Zijuan couldn’t stand it anymore, thus she stood up and said. “I am really not a tiger! I was still a human a few minutes ago!”

Silence.

Dead silence.

All the police and the people were astonished!

Seeing Wu Zijuan, the little tiger that could stand upright on its hind legs speak, they started trembling with their mouths wide-open.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

As air guns fell to the ground, several policemen and others ran wildly out the house, kept yelling and looked extremely panicked.

Although these days, news reports on supernatural events in Japan had been spread on the Internet in mainland China, it wouldn’t be more shocking than what they saw with your own eyes.

In modern society, scientific and technological progress brought about a high degree of information control by the national government.

In less than 20 minutes, the armed helicopter combat squadron that heard the news had already surrounded the entire neighborhood, and no one was not allowed to enter or leave.

The streets near the residence of Wu Zijuan were even temporarily locked down with different announcement signs.

Under the residential building where they lived, a large number of negotiating experts and police officers were present, and members of the Zhejiang National Special Bureau branch were shouting for publicity.

“Please don’t resist anymore! No matter which kind of demon you are, the government will not hurt you indiscriminately, and we insist on the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, which are our country’s diplomatic principles!”

Through observation of video recordings of natural disasters from all over Japan, as well as the actual situation of the mobile game ‘Ghost Gate’ that had already taken place in mainland China, the experts of the National Special Bureau made full use of Chinese myths and legends to set a fuzzy power system of these supernatural monsters, i.e. [harmless, murderous, high-risk, mobile disaster and force majeure]!

Harmless: supernatural monsters not malicious to humans or temporarily harmless

Murderous: supernatural monsters with a clear and malicious offensive sign, or have already harmed humans.

High-risk: supernatural monsters that have already hurt more than 5 people

Mobile Disaster: supernatural monsters that bring great harm to human society, and the specific attack range comparable to earthquakes, tsunamis and mudslides.

Force Majeure: supernatural monsters that cannot be countered by existing national technology weapons or cannot be eliminated

“In view of the fact that you have not had any murderous deeds and seem to have good communication skills, the government can bode especially well for harmless-level creatures.”

“If you take the initiative to step out, surrender and release the hostages, on behalf of the National Special Bureau, I solemnly promise that I will not take any form of violence against you except for the necessary shackles……”

In fact, at the beginning, after she scared away the police, Wu Zijuan did think about running away, but she was a tiger with no predation skills at all, and she was in a big city, the police might directly kill her since she looked like a wild animal escaping from the zoos.

Accompanied by hunger, she couldn’t walk further.

Helplessly, she could only stay in the residential building.

Now, in the face of the personnel from the country, she could only walk out of the building with her parents.

Hearing her parents’ explanations, policewomen carefully examined Wu Zijuan’s fur, and finally confirmed that she wasn’t a person pretending to be a tiger.

Learning the information, members of the Zhejiang Provincial Special Bureau branch reported the major findings to the superiors for the first time.

We succeeded in capturing one female baby tiger who claimed herself to be a human!
