The sound of splashing water can be heard throughout the very majestic and expensive bachelor suite. While Hongqi was busy in the bathroom, Xiulan was lying on the luxurious leather sofa bed and busied herself by watching a variety show on the large TV set. She was waiting for Hongqi to finish his shower.
"Do these idols really have to be this cheesy just to satisfy their fans?" Xiulan mumbled to herself while watching a live show of singing idol actresses and actors. Currently, the show is filming idols who were singing quite intimately and obviously they were only doing it for their 'easily to trick fans'.
Now the TV is showing some food commercials and it made Xiulan drool. She was really hungry and she can't do anything about her hunger.
Hongqi wouldn't let her go first to eat and blackmailed her that he will reveal to mother Song that he slept in her room last night. So she must stay in this place and dutifully wait for him.
"Selfish bastard." Xiulan cursed Hongqi in her heart.
As much as Xiulan want to reveal it to her mother so Hongqi will get a beating, she can't because her mother will beat her also.
Hongqi was taking awhile inside the bathroom so Xiulan almost dozed off. She was about to enter dreamland when she felt cold droplets of water on her legs.
She scrunches her face to a frown before she quickly open her eyes and saw Hongqi staring down at her while he was half naked and wet.
He didn't even put a towel on his head to dry his hair. He let the water from his hair drop on Xiulan's legs. Obviously, he was about to do something naughty and not good.
Xiulan was suddenly alarmed by this. Add Hongqi's sexy gaze, nakedness and his towering stature, her heart was palpitating crazily.
Because of this very alarming and explicit scene, Xiulan's body went to full self-defense mode and her legs suddenly went flying towards Hongqi's face. She accidentally kicked his jaw and Hongqi didn't have the time to dodge it.
"Ouch!" Hongqi cried out. He was taken aback by Xiulan's sudden move and he loses his balance. He didn't saw it coming that Xiulan would kick him and especially on the face. He felt like his teeth lost some of its enamel because of the sudden force on his jaw and the abrasion of his teeth were so harsh.
"Oh my God! I'm sorry. Why are you standing there like a psycho anyway?" Xiulan apologized and immediately helped him get up. But at the same time she scolded him for being a creeper.
"I was just teasing. You didn't have to kick me so hard." Hongqi pouted and acted like he was so hurt.
"Don't tease a person who is hungry. People who are hungry are like those people who lacked sleep, they are scary people to encounter." Xiulan lectured. For Xiulan, there are two types that who shouldn't be offended and if you offended these kinds of people then you will be doomed by their wrath.
"Noted, ma'am." Hongqi teasingly agreed. "I will change my clothes quickly so that you will not hurt me anymore." He added and winked at Xiulan. He quickly dashed to his room to change.
After a good ten minutes, Hongqi is now wearing very flamboyant attire. He was wearing a simple plain white shirt but he obviously left the first button to be unbuttoned and reveal his attractive chest. His scent was also magnificent and fresh for the nose. Xiualan likes this kind of scents.
His loose trousers were tan and he wore a casual white Givenchy leather snickers. Though he was wearing casual attire, a person can clearly see the super expensive brand and he looks like a high class model.
Hongqi charmingly smiled at Xiulan and pulled her hands. "Let's go, mother must be waiting for us."
"Obviously, she must be super hateful right now." Xiulan stated and rolled her eyes. They were so late for breakfast and she's not sure if her family is still in there to wait for them.
While walking towards the hotel's restaurant, some unfamiliar people would always try to greet and congratulate them. Xiulan awkwardly smile and thanked them while Hongqi only nodded.
They were now in the hallway going to the restaurant when they met sister Song Qiaohui halfway.
"Big sister." Xiulan greeted her sister and Hongqi only smiled at Qiaohui. This was the second time Hongqi met Qiaohui and he doesn't have any information about her yet. He only knows that she's the second sister.
"Baby Xiu Xiu." Qiaohui beamed and held Xiulan's hand as a sign of a big sister's affection. "Mom and the rest left already. You guys were taking so long so we ate first and left early. I just went to the toilet and they are now waiting for me in the parking lot." Qiaohui explained and her attention was only at Xiulan. She didn't bother looking at Hongqi. She seems to not like Hongqi for Xiulan.
"Ah. That's too bad." Xiulan pitied that she won't be able to eat with her mom. She won't be able to see Hongqi getting a scolding for being late. She gave Hongqi a slight hateful look before she smiled at her big sister.

Qiaohui is a famous patisserie and she has her own pastry shops. Just like the rest of the Song sisters, she's usually very busy because of managing her five shops. Because of her passion as a patisserie, she never had an interest in her father's company.
Xiulan sighed and sadly quietly muttered "I really wanted to eat with them."

"Brother Yuxian." Xiulan was surprised for a split second then smiled and greeted the handsome uncle.
She quickly glanced at his partner. "So that's the woman who snatched brother Yuxian from big sister Qiaohui." Xiulan muttered to herself. Xiulan moves her sight to his partner's hands and there was still no wedding ring. "That's odd, I thought they got married. He and sister Qiaohui divorced two years ago. Hmm…" Xiulan was now confused. She remembered that Yuxian filed a divorce because he wanted to marry this woman. But why is there no ring?
Out of all her sisters' relationships, Qiaohui and Yuxian's split was the most heartbreaking for her. "The hell her problem is?" she silently murmured. Though it was not loud, Hongqi still managed to hear it and he curled his lips. Hongqi knew that Meng Yuxian's new woman is bad news.
"Meng Yuxian sure has bad taste. He wasn't able to even introduce the woman." Hongqi said and elegantly poured tea over his cup and Xiulan's cup.
"Maybe he just forgot about it." Xiulan naively said and continued eating her meal.
Hongqi curled his lips further and he thought how naive and innocent his wife. She's not aware of the bad people around her. It is quite depressing for Hongqi that he married a very innocent lady but at the same time it was a blessing.

Though it was not loud, Hongqi still managed to hear it and he curled his lips. Hongqi knew that Meng Yuxian's new woman is bad news."Meng Yuxian sure has bad taste. He wasn't able to even introduce the woman." Hongqi said and elegantly poured tea over his cup and Xiulan's cup."Maybe he just forgot about it." Xiulan naively said and continued eating her meal.Hongqi curled his lips further and he thought how naive and innocent his wife. She's not aware of the bad people around her. It is quite depressing for Hongqi that he married a very innocent lady but at the same time it was a blessing.It'll be easy for him to manipulate her but he must be cautious of the people surrounding her as well since she's very naive and innocent.
