They were sitting in a restaurant and having Mughlai and to their surprise the little girl ate as if she didn't get food from many days.
Meanwhile Amyra recited the whole things that happened to them before he came.
-"Maybe we should inform police. The parcel the man talked about may contain something really precious for them. The situation is serious. We must take some action." Amit said.
-"but if we call police they will just interrogate the little girl and she will suffer as she don't know anything." Amyra sounded really tensed.
-" you are right but what should we do?" Amit said.
-"They beat us everyday." For the first time little girl said something, her pale face was expressionless.
So she is not dumb Amyra thought. May be she was scared there and couldn't speak anything, and she said 'us' it means she is not alone.
Amyra turned her face towards the girl
-" so there are many child's like you whom they make work for them."
The girl nodded indicating yes.
-" this place is also not safe for us to stay for a long."let's move to my apartment." Amyra said. As Amit was with them for long so she didn't allow him to go to his mess. They both knew that more than one person are following them since they left the amusement park. They left the restaurant and headed toward Amyra's apartment.
They felt a little relief reaching the apartment.
The little girl was now seemed relaxed. They all got freshed. Amyra made the girl wear one of her t shirt. Which crossed the knee of the girl. Amyra at first made the little girl sleep caressing her head who seemed very tired. And then they all gathered in the hall room to discuss the situation. Amyra suggested Maithli and Shruti to leave the house for some time as she wanted them to stay out of this trouble but they didn't agreed. They decided to handle the situation bravely. After they finished discussing Amyra entered her bedroom, the little girl was sleeping peacefully in a corner of the bed, her innocent face looked heavenly. The dress was so loose to her so it revealed a part of her belly, Amyra forwarded to cover it and to her surprise Amyra saw a lots of burn marks made with cigarette over her belly. She revealed her backside and there she saw similar marks and marks of teeth in her shoulder. Amyra couldn't hold her emotion and her eyes flooded with tears, how could some humans act worse than animals. 'I won't give up' she thought.
2 days passed and nothing wrong happened they all felt the tension decreasing.
Meanwhile they got many surprisingin information from the little girl.
There are many children's like her who are kept in some secret place. They exploit the childs both mentally and physically.Amyra and her friends tried a lot but the girl couldn't help them to find the location from where this evil people operate.
2days later...
Amyra was returning from the market with Maithli, they never left the little girl alone in the house. Amit and Shruti were there with her while Maithli and Amyra were out for market. They were just passing by the apartment closest to theirs. She saw a man talking with another man and to her disgrace she remembered the 1st person.It was the man she slapped 2 days before. She covered her face with the scarf she was wearing. She then tried to have a close look to the person whom the evil man was talking to. The other man was wearing a hoodie and in the darkness Amyra could only see his sharp eyes and she remembered those eyes. It was the mysterious man of the apartment parallel to their floor, who keeps an eye on them(or her??). The evil man turned towards them but before he could see them Amyra hold Maithli's hand and walked off in speed.
She was scared to see the evil man but the thing which was making her feel more and more uneasy was the sharp looking eyes of that strange man. As everything was running normal and everyone was tension free so she didn't told anything to anyone. As she doesn't want the situation to be tensed.
She was calm outside by in her mind there was a storm running inside.
Who was that strange guy and why do I always feel as if I know him whenever I see his eyes???
