If audio player doesn't work, press Stop then Play button again
Picking up the orb Shalador examined it carefully and even used his magic to help investigate the orb. Sitting by the side was Febbs who was impatiently sitting there watching Shalador inspect the orb. "Hey, Can you hurry up and figure out what the orb is already??"
Putting the orb down Shalador said "Well if im correct… When the orb has too much pressure or force put on it it'll explode"
Febbs carefully looked at the Orb then back at Shalador then smiled "You know what, you can hold onto it. Just in case you need it y'know"
"Eh really? Well in that case i'll be taking it" Shalador said while carefully putting it into a separate pocket on his bag. Looking at himself Shalador spoke once more "Lets rest here for a bit. I need a little bit of time to treat my wounds" "In the meantime you keep on the watch out for anyone else coming this way"
After saying his part Shalador began meditating in order to treat his wounds and regain some of his magic back that he exhausted earlier.
After a couple of minutes passed where Febbs had nothing to do other than to sit still and watch an elf meditate he finally got bored to a point where he slowly sneaked away deeper into the cave. "I'm just going to take a quick peek, i'll be right back"
After not hearing any response his footsteps sped up until he was no longer within site of Shalador. Lighting the lantern backup Shalador began to leisurely walk down the tunnel. Along the way he encountered
"As Febbs went solo on his journey deeper into the cave he encountered many things that were interesting! He encountered a dragon who threatened Febbs' life but after some careful negotiation the dragon eventually became Febbs mount! He also encountered a 10,000ft tall giant who almost stepped on Febbs! After being almost stepped on Febbs began a fight against the giant that lasted for hundreds of years! As the fight came to a close Febbs conquered the giant and-" Stopping his narration there Febbs approached the end of the tuned and immediately saw the tunnel expand into a room large enough that the light coming from his lantern wasn't bright enough to see the edges of the room. Just outside the tunnel exit was a group of small red things dancing around a extremely large fire.
Looking at the red things dancing around the fire Febbs make a stupid smile before thinking "If I go and beat those things up them Shalador will definitely be jealous of my great power"
After a couple of minutes Febbs came up with what he considered to be a great plan and began walking towards the trio of red beings.
The red creatures were dancing around their fire when all of a sudden a blue lizard calmly walked over to them with a grin on his face. When the blue lizard got close enough to them they heard him speak "Hello my name is Shalador!" "I saw you dancing and I was wondering if could join you all!"
The three creatures were confused before quickly snapping out of it and continued to stare at the lizard before one of the creatures took a step forward and spoke in a rough voice "Lizard...What...Do...You...Want?"
Febbs found the creatures way of speaking odd but didn't mind it. "I said i just want to da- LIZARD?" "OH NO. I AM NOT A LIZARD"
Surprised by Febbs' sudden screaming one of the creatures suddenly transformed into a giant spider and one of the other ones transformed into a bird that flew up. The third creature, the one who spoke previously stared at Febbs for a moment before uttering "Shalador… i'll… remember… that" then vanishing with a poof.
"Eh? Where'd he go?" Febbs looked around but was unable to see the creature anymore. Thinking back to the conversation caused Febbs to laugh slightly while thinking "Hehe I can't believe that 'Shalador' would make those things angry. He really shouldn't do stuff like that.".
After turning his attention to the giant spider Febbs let out a little "woww" before looking up at the bird flying around "wo- actually that's pretty boring, birds are everywhere"
Pulling out his staff and doing a little twirl with it Febbs dashed towards the spider. Getting closer to the spider Febbs suddenly fell down and slid under the giant spider appearing behind it. After getting behind the spider Febbs got ready to swing at the spider but paused mid swing and instead hopped on top of the spider.
The spider enraged by suddenly being ridden began to thrash around but unluckily for it Febbs was able to maintain his balance and managed to stay on top of the spider. "I Think i'll call you charlot-" right before he could finish his sentence the other creature in the form of a bird flew down at tried to dive bomb Febbs.
The bird flying down missed Febbs but was able to cause him to lose his balance and fall off of the giant spider.
Enraged by the bird ruining his special moment with the spider he yelled in the direction the bird flew to "Stupid Bird!". Looking back at the spider hoping for a opportunity to hop back on but the spider wasn't so dumb to give the lizard another opportunity to be ridden again.
While trying to think of a way back on top of the spider it suddenly took a bite at Febbs. Jumping back from the spiders attack Febbs suddenly spoke in a sad voice "Oh Charlot- Stop trying to bite me while I speak!" "As I was saying *ahem* how could you betray me like this? I thought we had a special relationship but for you to attack me like this…"
The spider at this point was quite annoyed with the lizards constant talking and attempts to hop on top of it. Annoyed with the lizard the spider began to furiously bite at the lizard but Febbs was slightly to quick and other then a few close calls never got bitten.
After a considerable amount of time passed Febbs was hopping around while being chased by a giant spider who would occasionally try to take a bite at Febbs. All of a sudden Febbs stopped in place and looked really serious causing the spider to think that he'll finally get a real fight.
All of a sudden Febbs reached out and grabbed at the air. Looking at his hand Febbs saw that he actually managed to catch the creature in bird form. Pulling his staff out with his other hand Febbs suddenly let go of the bird but at the same time did a large vertical strike at the bird slamming it into the ground.
The bird being struck by the staff took to much damage and reverted back to the red creature form and laid there there motionless.
Turning over Febbs stared at the spider while a grin appeared on his face once more as he slowly approached the spider while muttering "Now time to go for a ride".
The spider scared by the fact that the lizard was stronger than they thought slightly kneeled down and prepared to be mounted when all of a sudden a blue arrow shot through the spiders head causing it to revert back to the red creature form
Falling to his knees Febbs screamed "NOOOOOO! CHARLOTTE I'LL AVENGE YOU" furiously turning around to the murderer who killed his beloved pet he saw the face of the murderer and "Oh Shalador! Welcome back! Some red dude hates you now by the way"
Looking at Febbs, Shalador's head began to hurt while thinking of the words just spoken. After letting out a long sigh Shalador looked at Febbs and calmly said "What happened while I was gone?"
