A serious tension was in the room, both sides waiting for the other to make the first move resulting in a stillness between all parties present. Gazar didn't move but let out a sneer and began casting another spell, causing a ghost like red weapon to begin to form above the head of Shalador.

"Tch…" Grabbing a pair of daggers from his side Shalador threw one towards the still forming weapon and another at the caster, Gazar. The spirit weapon was still mostly incorporeal and thus when the dagger came into contact with it the dagger flew right through sticking itself to the roof of the cave. Because Gazar was focused on keeping the spirit weapon forming he wasn't able to block the incoming dagger and it stabbed into his shoulder.

When the dagger stabbed into Gazar his focus was broken and the spirit weapon stopped forming and quickly began to disperse. "Again with your futile efforts!" Galazard said while amplifying his voice.

Feeling a large amount of force hitting his stomach Gazar looked slightly down and saw a foot kicking into his stomach. Having the air kicked out of his body Gazar fell to the ground once more desperately gasping for air.

Not giving the opponent another chance to recover Febbs quickly pulled the dagger out of Gazars shoulder and quickly ended the life of the man who sacrificed many many villagers for the sake of a demon.

Holding the bloodied dagger Febbs stared down at it

"Do you regret it?" Shalador's voice rang out from behind him asking him.

Dropping the dagger Febbs looked at Shalador and calmly spoke "I don't regret it. It had to be done or else more people would have gotten hurt by this person… If he can be called a person anyways"

Sighing deeply Shalador started walking towards the house along the cave walls "What's done is done. Let go see if there is anything worthwhile in his shack"

Walking through the door the two saw a living room of sorts with a couch and chair across from a makeshift kitchen. Further into the building were three doors all closed so what was in them was unknown for now.

Going towards the first door and opening it, the inside was a small storeroom filled with various herbs which were carefully grabbed by Shalador and put into his bag. Opening the second door and walking in the two found that this was a study room as well as a bedroom.

Very soon the two found of what the list was it was a list of all the people who have been sacrificed here. Feeling sick at the amount of names on the list Shalador created a tiny flame in his hand and burned it to ashes.

After taking another look around the second room and finding nothing much other than a few books and coins the two moved onto the third and final room of the makeshift house. As the two walked into the room the first thing that they noticed was the smooth walls and floor. Unlike the previous walls that were all very rough these ones were more... fine.

As the two looked around more they noticed a small pillar in the middle of the room and on top of it sat a dried up finger. Scattered across the room were skeletons with pure white bones. Shalador was the first to take a step forward towards the finger and as he reached it, the finger began to float.

Hovering a few inches above the pillar a voice suddenly rang out through the room. "Oh? I havent seen either of you before... If you're here then that mean that the fool outside is dead... Well his uses were almost up regardless... So how about you two become my new servants then?"

Taking a deep look at the floating finger Febbs smiled dumbly and spoke, "Alright!"

"What a shame you could hav... hm? HA! An intelligent choice! Now what about this other one... Will you be joining me as well?"

It was around now that Shalador learned something new, when a travelling companion and a finger both somehow stare at you you're decisions might be different then if you weren't in that situation, "Fine"

"Great! Now... Accept my power an you shall become servants of me, Oro!" After speaking the finger turned into into a phantom and flew into Shalador then into Febbs. When the finger entered their body it was a burning sensation throughout their body, the pain was to great causing both to collapse and fall unconscious.

Opening his eyes Shalador no longer felt the burning pain in his chest but his head now hurt, this was probably from falling to the ground though. Thinking of the situation he was in Shalador turned to Febbs and was relived to find that he was still here, although he may be unconscious still. The next thing Shalador turned to look at was the pillar that the finger originally was resting upon and to no suprise the finger was missing... but Shalador still felt that it was nearby somewhere and if he tried to rebel then something bad would happen. While thinking of the finger a thought appeared in his head, the voice continued to repeat the words 'Find the rest... rebuild the body... destroy the heavens'.

As the voice continued to repeat the words Shalador became very annoyed and tried to silence it but no matter what he did the voice just kept repeating the same lines over and over. "Um, I think the voice is telling us what to do next?".

It seemed that at some point Febbs woke up and experienced similar symptoms as Shalador did. When Febbs went to stand up he suddenly stopped and stared down at his hands, as he did his eyes went wide as he looked at himself. "um? Febbs?"

"I feel different?"

"Good different or bad different?"

"Different..."

As they stood for a while inspecting the change that happened to them both they saw the door spring open and the voice from before get a bit louder 'Find the rest... rebuild the body... destroy the heavens'

As they began walking out they looked at the room they previously visited and headed towards the exit, leaving the place.

A little while later the pair arrived back into the town and went to the weapons store to buy and sell a few things, mainly Febbs' staff in exchange for a shield and sword but after that they headed back to the tavern. As they arrived in the tavern they saw Meg working as normal. Feeling to tired from their previous journey however they instead choice to not talk to her and just go back up to their room to sleep for the night.
