The morning of the funeral, Mr Adebisi stood at the window of their small house, he wore the only suit he had. He listened as his wife catered for their other children. He thought back to the meeting of yesterday with the CEO of Jaydite. When he heard she was young, he thought she was gonna be unreasonable, arrogant and irresponsible like her age, bribing and threatening his poor family at the same time. He is a poor man, his words are nothing compared to that of the CEO of Jaydite. If he wasn't poor, he would have been able to send his first child to school not have her go through the scholarship program and make all kinds of deal with strange people.
He wiped the tear off his face as he thought of his late daughter Rose, she was a very bright child, she really wanted education, and education killed her. If not for the corruption in the country, things would have been easier for both him and his daughter.
When he agreed to go for the meeting yesterday, he had made up his mind not to blink or change his decision, he wasn't going to speak to the press again.
