Chiamanda looked at the company's beauty... wondering what her boss had said to him, she has never seen him this disoriented before, he always know what to say and do in awkward situations...she shook her head, her boss really is something, while she would love to get close to her, the lady wouldn't let her. She seems nice though but she's a woman of few words, the shareholders have tried to make her work for them...to get proof that she was Mr Jayden's girlfriend that is why he handed everything to her, planning everything meticulously....giving her all of his shares and that of a few others. But her boss wouldn't even let her close...she has given up on getting any information from her but how does she tell the board she can't do the job, she still doesn't wanna loose her job. She wonders what's so special about her boss that everyone wants her...she rolled her eyes, she is even taller than her....not that she had anything against her boss just that the moment Miss Sky walked into that office that was the day her position as the CEO's secretary became threatened....maybe she could tell the shareholders that Sky was sleeping with Dwayne and they could use that against her....no no no no, what are you thinking, she chastised herself, you are more than this and this is no way to pay Mr Jayden for all he's done for you...she sighed, she just doesn't know what to do anymore. She has thought of approaching her boss about the matter but the lady was just too scary, she had to think of something fast before she lose her job.
Sky went back to her desk and continued to work on her laptop, she went through her project, that was her second baby....She really wanted the board to like it....she's been working on it for a year now, using her own money...this was something she did herself not through the help of anyone and she really wanted it to work. She remembered when she first brought up the idea to Mr J. and he was like...it's only worth it if you think it is, besides I believe in you...but I don't understand why you have refused my help on this one. her phone ringtone brought her back to the present....the special tone she set aside for her mom, smiling she picked it up and said "Nime " the name she calls her mom... how are you doing old woman?....her mother laughed and said, just who are you calling old..... little girl, hope you've had lunch. You have to learn how to stop skipping meals, I haven't seen you for a week why don't you come home...the whole family will be around and I made your favorite meal. As Sky listened to her mom a tear rolled down her face, when it came to her family she was a chicken...she listened to her mom's voice....the person she loves the most in this world, how would her mom take her pregnancy, how will her family react?? she couldn't keep it away from them....Mrs Onome. she said, I will spend the weekend with you so I can rub some of my youth on you.
