VAMPIRE EVOLUTIONARY LADDER.
REVENANT: new born vampires with the strength of an elephant and speed of an ostrich. However they are slave to their thirst and many of them never live through the three year gestation period before they can get to the next rank. Their strength, speed and vitality are naturally peak tier two at the time of their birth of rebirth. However they are very weak within the first year of their change, unless during times of emotional stress. They can not resist the smell of human blood. At this stage their eyes become red.
BLOODCHILD: at this rank of their evolution vampires gain the inherent ability to control blood at will. Their senses are also heightened and the blood within their veins become a weapon for them. Vampires at this stage of evolution need to ingest a lot of blood to keep up with their rate of expenditure. According to history while villages of humans and other creature would be massacred or harvested to keep with the upkeep of their system. At this rank, the heart of the vampire finally stops beating, and he or she would be considered fully turned. At this stage their eyes become blue.
NOSFERATU: at this stage the vampires gain the ability to shape shift, and turn another person into a vampire. They also gain the ability to use the allure, giving them the power to compel and control and body weaker than them. Their eyes become purple at this stage. Most Nosferatu are leaders or assistants within the respective covens.
SHADOWER: vampires at this stage gain the ability to transcend and shift their body beyond their mortal form. The gain an affinity for darkness magic and the ability to control shadows. Very talented individuals among them gain access to the shadow realm, and can hide, travel and attack from within it. At this stage their eyes become golden.
ELDER: elder vampires are almost always usually old, as their advancement to this stage is mostly attributed to their age. If you live long enough you can become and elder vampire. Elder vampires are on average three to four thousand years old before getting to that level, it is the final advancement for any vampire without royal blood or a pure bloodline. At this stage the elder vampires grow a new heart, a fully functional heart that works as if they were still alive. Their old heart becomes their shadow heart, in charge of controlling every aspect of the vampire half, while the new heart opens them up to a new realm of abilities previously denied them for being a vampire. At this moment they are well and truly prime examples of the word, the living dead. Stuck between full life, and full death.
ANCESTOR(DRACULA): an ancestor vampire is nothing short of a force of pure destruction. At this point a vampire would have comprehended the natural laws of the shadow realm and gain the power to subjugate even the Gods themselves. They are capable of bringing an entirely new bloodline into existence and above all, they can walk without fail in the sun. The color of their eyes differ according to the individual, and only those of a pure or royal bloodline can ever get the chance to ascend into the Ancestor rank of the vampire evolutionary ladder. And when they get to that rank, they're known by the title DRACULA.
