After the battle, and everything had settled down, the frigate changed it's course and was heading north west. Or to be more precise, we were going back home. Even though we won this fight, it's obvious that if Asha was not around, things would have been a whole lot more different than what we just faced, so we had to get better, stronger, invisible. Either way, the frigate has been traveling at cruising speed, it was not too fast, and neither wasn't too slow, this way the radars on Shearath won't think we're some sort of bomb or anything of the sort.

Shearath is a big planet, if I had to be a little accurate, I would say it was three times the size of Jupiter, has 9 continents, and almost 11 sub continents/have countries. The human race lives on five of those continents, the elves live on one, the dwarves have two to their name, and the last one now has a big hole in it's middle with a spatial storm brewing there for all of eternity.

Before it became the mountain range of Noxis Nyx, a prison to hold the vampires and Nephilim, it was known as the cold plains Nevadier, the continent itself is known as Fortis Nevadier, home to the vampires. The rest of the races were spread amongst the remaining 11 sub continents. But now most of those continents fall under the control of the human race.

The human race could be considered a plague, to the other races at least. The only problem they had was that over the years, they've grown too large for their own continent and resources to handle, so they expands using political deals from marriages and alliances, never wars, at least not until the vampire war. But that was a joint operation between the other races, all for the need to take control of the resources that grew in abundance on Fortis Nevadier. Resources that the vampires hardly ever had a need for as they chose to fight amongst themselves, rather than conquer the stars or any other continent on Shearath.

Either was war happened, lives were lost, the vampires were imprisoned, the Nephilim betrayed and the fairies extinct, well almost all of them. Now they exist in small hidden groups across the galaxy. The seven noble families of the human coalition, were descendants of the previous kings or queens that at one point rule the human race before they started using democracy, electing governor's as the rulers.

The governors are more like kings I guess, they rule from the moment of their election, to the time of their death when another election would take place amongst men and women of influence to replace them. The seven noble families hardly ever run for governorship, since they always been above the governors themselves, and the city states ruled by the governors across the five human continents were evenly spread under the jurisdiction of the noble families, with the governors being their unofficial proxy, giving an illusion of democracy, when actually the noble families are still in charge.

But some of the noble families have always ignored politics as a whole and gave full autonomy to the governors. The Cor family was one of those families; and we used to be the most powerful families seeing as we had an entire continent under our control, with a record 13 city states under our control, with 13 governors. Which means, I now have to subdue thirteen corrupted men and women, and take back control of my homeland, and after that's done, just like Ethernalia Leonis, I'm taking the whole continent with me to the realm of the dragon kings, then I'll leave Shearath alone....maybe not.

The home continent of the Cor family is called Leo, it's not the largest continent, but it's right in the middle of the other continents, with access to Nevadier in the south, to the vampires, Yurtenheim to the east; the dwarves. Cellini Drivakis Fermi to the north east; home of the elves. And to the west the rest of the human continents were placed, and finally the north where the floating islands of the celestials were located, a place where outsiders were not welcome to, and as such their names have never been known.

Before space travel was a thing, Leo dominated merchant trade, and because of how wealthy we were, we developed a hundred times faster than the other races.

We had access to the other races, and could transport goods from them, across the land, to the other races who at the time were not so welcoming to each other.

The Cor family being human were tolerated by the other races, so we could make deals between two different races, standing as a middle man for their trade agreements, having access to their unique technology and magic, and in turn we took advantage of it, and built an empire, a very wealthy one. To this day we're sill the richest family on Shearath, and by extension some of the richest in the universe.

Which was why the noble families and the governors were all too eager to betray me, the last known descendant of the Cor family. Without me around to obtain my inheritance, which should be about four months from now, then they can officially swoop in and take over everything that belonged to my family. But there's no way in hell I'll be letting that happen, if it's a fight they want, it's a fight they'll get.

"your Majesty we will be arriving at the Pride City of Leo Corson in ten minutes. Should we send a message ahead?" Maxine asked me as she came into the room where I was playing with Michael. Cassie was with her mom, doing whatever it is they have on their minds.

"Don't send any messages, I want to see how the city reacts to an unknown threat. I'll join you in the bridge soon." I answered her.

Maxine gave a nod and then a bow as she walked out of the room, and went to prepare for any technicalities. I lifted up Michael and watched as he stretched his hands towards my face with a goofy smile on his face.

"Want to watch how your father kick's ass and dominates his enemies? Would you like to see daddy be awesome my sweet prince?" I asked him with an equally goofy smile on my face, and then.

"Ass!"

My eyes widened to epic proportions as a wave of disappointment and amusement assaulted me. I really had no idea what to do right now, should I laugh or cry, my son's first words, and what he said was Ass…..Asha and Xaseah are both going to kill me.

"Please I beg you Mikey, don't say that out loud or we're both screwed."

"Screwed?"

Oh God no! Why is he only picking the bad words, say dada or mama for Christ's sake, please be a normal kid, don't be weird like your daddy. If Asha finds out I cursed in front of Michael, she's going to shut me out, Xaseah on the other hand would kick my ass.

"Come on little Mikey let's go."

"Ass!!"

I'm so dead.

"This is control tower to unidentified space craft, this is restricted air space belonging to the Cor family, under jurisdiction of governor Manuel Rose, please identify yourself and prepare to be boarded."

A female voice called out from the communications channel. I listened with half my attention, as the other half was focused on holding Michael as he wondered allover bridge, and presently he was directly grabbing onto the feathers a Nephilim and refusing to let go, which means Maxine was in charge.

"This is commander Maxine Hellgrave, former captain of the pride forces of the Cor family. Now 1st commander of the royal guard of Ethernalia Leonis, Shield and Sword to his Majesty Kael Cor, Lion of Shearath, King of the Soul Dragon, Weaver of Nature and High King of Spero. This is the transport of the Speran royal family, and I'm under the impression that this is the capital city of the Cor family, the home of my King. Are you going to bar him entry into the city his ancestors built?"

There was silence on the other end for a while, then the woman came back on and said.

"The governor has been notified, but access would be granted to the craft. If this really is a ship carrying Kael Cor, then I bid the lord a hearty welcome home. Your people have been waiting for your return, welcome back your Majesty."

Well that was honestly unexpected, but that's to be expected. The Cor family were never hated by their subjects, we never really interfere in their lives, at least not until I was born, but we always made sure that they were okay. Not to mention the Cor family had always been on the moral side of the spectrum of leadership, of course that was a lie, you don't get to be one of the richest family in the universe, with wealth that can rival a major planet, by playing clean. The Cor family was dirtier than most, people just never found out about that part of us.

"Thank you Mary, it's good to be back." I replied, ignoring the gasp of surprise that came from the woman on the other end of the communications channel.

The frigate moved forward, coming up at the harbor of the city and waiting for a few seconds before the completely invisible force field around the city was disabled. The Pride city was a major capital on Shearath, it was large enough to house a few hundred million people, which is to say it's bloody large and very crowded. But none the less it's security measures were state of the art, and the best of the best.

But compared to what Spero now has, this was practically child's play. From the harbor area which completely encircle the southern, westerns and eastern part of the city, the next would be the trade districts, but within that particular area was the slums. It may not be as large as the slums in other cities, but it was still large. And then came the residential districts, each with areas better than the last, catered to people who had enough money to live in the more high class areas. Next came the administrative districts with schools, colleges, companies etc. Then the governors mansion, and then on the northern part, the Cor family mansion, my ancestral home. Which to be honest was a city in and out of itself. It was the only place in the city that had anything green, the family estate had a forests, a farm, orchards, and gardens both vegetable and flowers. And then there's the massive mansion, the private air strip and space port, the massive garage, the barracks, and the servants quarters. I grew up here, this was my home.

"Its beautiful, and quite intimidating."

I heard Xaseah say from behind me. I didn't realize she and Asha had already come into the bridge, Cassie was sleeping on Asha's shoulder a significant amount of drool escaping from her tiny baby mouth. Michael was still wreaking havoc around the bridge.

"It doesn't have to be intimidating, you've lived in a palace that's bigger than this."

I said to Xaseah as I grabbed Michael who had grabbed the literal flaming horns of a fire dragon in his human form. The loud yell he gave startled everyone on the bridge, this was the second time I've heard him cry apart from when he was born, and I have to admit, this Kid has quite the voice. I tried placating him, but it wasn't working, not one bit. Asha had to pass the sleeping Cassiel to Xaseah and took Michael from me before he stopped crying, what a mama's boy.

"Your Majesty we've touched down and ready to disembark. What are your orders?" Maxine asked me.

"Your probably the highest ranking member of the PRIDE around, get everyone here squared away, and then summon the rest of the PRIDE. Tell them to come home, it's time we consolidate our forces and take full control of our home."

Maxine nodded her head and went about to complete her orders. I took both Xaseah and Asha with me as we teleported off the frigate and down to the landing strip. I heard Xaseah his in pain as she was face to face with the glare of the sun, I quickly weaved my (SHIELD) rune over her, protecting her from the sun with a guilty and sheepish look on my face, I should not have been in such a hurry.

"Who the hell are you guys, and what the fuck are you doing on my land! This is treason, do you know who the fuck I am!" a voice shouted behind me, with a contingent of armed guards behind him, and two very familiar white lions behind him.

"Well hello cousin Goose, I've only been gone for two years and this had become your land, how did that happen?" I said as I moved forward enough that my full visage could be seen by him.

"Ka….ka…..Ka…. Ka....Kael?"

"Yeah!"
