A shiny red Bugatti waits in the middle of the parking lot under the scorching sun. Sitting in the driver seat, a middle-aged man has his mouth agape as he stares at his young mistress following two strangers to a white car.
He looks down at his phone to open the text message he just received from her.
Young Ms. Han: 'Zhang Zhang, don't wait up for me. I'm getting a ride with some friends.'
Zhang Wei finishes reading the text. He looks up at his miss and then looks back down at his phone.
Friends?
Ms. Han doesn't call anyone her friend, she only has acquaintances. She claims to be surrounded by fake people.
More importantly, he has been Han Lili's driver for twelve years now and he has never seen these two people in his life.
Do people just pull friends out of a hat?
How can you just follow strangers and call them friends?
Zhang Wei decided to tail his young mistress and her 'friends' for safety reasons.
While her driver was in a dilemma, Han Lili was overjoyed with her decision to corner and follow these two beautiful women. While chatting away with them, she kept on internally praising her 'great' intuition.
Their conversations were smooth and natural as if they were long-lost kin. The best part for her was that they had no idea who she was so they didn't try to suck up to her. Even if they did know her identity, judging from their vehicle and manners, they didn't seem like the sort of people who would do such a thing. Being the great judge of character that she was, these two young ladies were keepers.
She learned that they had just arrived from America for a job transfer. That explains why she has never met them before.
Despite just meeting them, she really liked their personalities. Although the foreigner barely spoke and seemed skeptical of her, she was not rude. The green-eyed beauty, on the other hand, left her enthralled. Not only was her appearance breathtaking, her voice was also soft and soothing like a calming melody. She seemed so gentle and charming without even knowing it.
Han Lili had met a lot of fakes in her life and she could immediately tell that this woman's graces were natural and not forced.
What amazed her even further was Su Lian's commanding aura. Being in her presence made you feel inferior as if you were standing before a king. She gave off the impression of being assertive and leaving no room for negotiations. It didn't seem deliberate, it was ingrained.

There must be multitudes of men lined up to try to woo her. Even she herself as a woman had fallen in love. The first thought that came to Han Lili's mind was to snatch up this sister-in-law very quickly.

For the remainder of the journey, Han Lili stopped talking as she was in complete high spirits. Her mind was occupied with thinking about all the praise and rewards she would receive from her parents once she brings them this good news.
She has accomplished her task and found a good wifey candidate for the 'iceberg'.
