A few minutes before Jay finished of the Thundergod...

"What the hell is this kid doing? Looks like I am really getting old, not being able to force tribulations to stop and have to rely on formations... What a troubling life."

Lord Tygon kept mumbling to himself as he followed Jay and the Thundergod while maintaining a distance of 2km away from them. After following them for a while, he suddenly felt an oppressive and majestic aura fill the air.

"Damn. What is it now?!"

Not knowing what happened since he was too far away, he took of his blindfold and opened his eyes.

The color of his eyes were gray and had dozens of magic runes on it.

'Luna's Eye'

After using this eye skill of his, besides the uncountable number of details he saw on the whole floating island, he saw the cruel fate of the Thundergod, and how Jay toyed with the guy.

"This aura came from that kid?! Impossible... He is just 12 years old! He already knows lost magic and now this! (He is definitely not normal! Looks like I have no choice but to interrogate him later.)"

After that thought of his, he just silently watched from afar and waited for Jay to finish.

...

"I wonder how everyone is doing. (S**t... I left Nuggets again. I just hope she is still asleep and did not run off again.)"

Jay was preparing to take his leave and go back into seclusion since he cannot wait and wanted to learn everything the Chicken Lord was going to tell him. So he went back to his human form and was about to walk away...

"Hold on kid. Why don't we have a chat back at my house first?"

Lord Tygon had his blindfold on again and suddenly popped up in front of Jay and teleported him to his underground house on the central area. Before teleporting himself, he made sure to tell the Elders of the situation at hand and told them to return to their duties after they have recovered from the backlash.

...

--- Lord Tygon's House ---

"(That guy just teleports anyone he wants!) Well, looks like I have to make another bulls**t story. I just hope Tygon won't expel me or everyone from Golden Phoenix from the academy."

Jay looked around the 'house' for a bit since Tygon was still not here.

"So a stone bed, a stone table, and a praying mat... Besides that, there is nothing in this small room. (How the hell did this turn into a house? It just looks like a stone prison!)"

Just as Jay was doing that...

"Oh? My house is a stone prison eh?"

Jay suddenly felt a stinging pain on his head, as if someone was clawing onto it.

"I AM SORRY MY LORD! You're house is so simple that this rich kid failed to admire its beauty!"

"GAHAHAHA!! Just sit down somewhere. I need to lie down on the bed over there. I just hope you will answer my questions truthfully. After that, you may go."

After both of them got comfortable, with Tygon lying down on his stone bed and Jay sitting beside the stone desk, Tygon began speaking.

"(I should use his name right?) Jay, who were your parents and where did you come from?"

Not expecting a simple question, Jay answered truthfully.

"My lord, I do not know who my parents are. I am one of those lucky war orphans. I also do not know where I came from. The only memory of this matter is that I was saved by a travelling group of mercernaries."

Tygon was secretly checking Jay's heartbeat to see if he was lying or not. When he saw that Jay was telling the truth, he moved on to his next question.

"I see. Then, what about the lost magic you used earlier? Care to tell me how you learned it?"

Jay was not sure how to answer this time so he decided to tell some half truths about his adventure on Murkwood Passage and how he became the Treant's Champion.

Tygon was still secretly observing Jay's heartbeat, and for a split second, he felt two strong oppressive auras out of nowhere forcing him out. Before he withdrew his magic, he saw the entirety of Jay's body, mind, heart and soul. He even discovered traces of multiple bloodlines yet to be unlocked and harnessed by Jay. The moment he saw all of this, he was amazed and made a decision.

"Okay. Last question. Will you be willing to become my successor?"

Jay was preparing for another hard question but when he heard this, he was speechless. So there was an awkward pause. Seeing that Tygon was waiting for his answer, he asked, "My lord, why me? Aren't there other students or Elders from the academy more worthy as your successor?"

Tygon got up from his bed and smiled at Jay and answered, "I have my own reasons. You may learn those reasons if you become my successor. So, do you accept or not?"

Noy letting this opportunity go to waste, Jay agreed since he knew that Tygon was a good guy anyways, unless something went wrong with history again.

"Alright. Take this storage ring and use everything on it. After doing so, use one of my tokens on the ring and contact me. You may go now."

After handing over a silver ring glowinv with a black light, Tygon teleported Jay back to the academy.
