~Slurp

~Munch, munch...

Abby was currently eating and drinking some kind of juice at the academy's girl dormitory. The reason she was here right now was because Cidney brought her here. As for Cidney, she told Abby that she was just going to take a bath and will lead her to her room after that.

"The food is so delicious! But... who is that lady? (I hope Annie or anyone won't look for me.)"

Abby tried to forget her worries as she kept on eating and drinking.

...

--- Cleric Classroom, Golden Moon Academy ---

The classroom setting was a bit weird to look at. On the center of the room, there was a puppet lying down on a bedroll. Beside it, there were 8 mats surrounding it, probably where the students sit down. And there were desks and containers scattered on the room which probably contained healing items.

Currently, there were only 3 people in the room, including Annie.

One of them was the Elder in charge of the Clerics, and the other one was a student named Elton.

Elton had the same age as Jay, 12 years old, had black hair, and also had a topknot.

Annie and Elton were currently being taught by the Elder some basics when it comes to healing people.

"Remember, when treating people, make sure to check what symptoms they have first before starting the healing process. And also make sure to remember the different herbs and medicine required for different situations."

Unlike Elton who immediately went to work with the puppet they were supposed to 'heal', Annie asked, "Elder, what's the use of knowing all of that stuff? Don't clerics simply use spells to cure these injuries or diseases?"

"Alright then. Supposedly, you only needed to depend on your magic to cure whatever injuries or diseases you need to cure. But, let me ask you, how much is your success rate when performing your spells?"

Annie still did not know what the Elder was going on about so she told him, "Success rate? I always have 80-90% success rate! What's wrong with that?"

The Elder sighed and said, "If I told you that I can perform those same spells with a success rate of 200% or more, would you believe me?"

When Annie heard '200%', she got a bit skeptical and thought, "200%? There is such a thing? Then does that mean the spell's effect will get doubled?"

To answer her doubts, she asked the Elder to show it to her.

"Fine. But I won't be the one doing it. Elton, go ahead and show this young lady your talent as a cleric."

Elton stopped checking on the puppet and glanced towards Annie and at the Elder.

"Alright then. Can I use a tier 0 spell? I am a bit drained from my other classes."

The Elder nodded. After that, Elton started spellcasting.

"Mini Cure."

After speaking softly, Elton performed the spell on the puppet. Then the puppet started flashing a bit and after that, some information displayed on its body.

====

Cleric Name: Elton Grayrock

Spell Used: Mini Cure (Tier 0)

Success Rate: 213%

Comments: Good work! Now, why don't you try using a spell of a higher tier?

====

Annie was speechless when she saw the results. As for Elton, he continued with what he was doing previously before getting interrupted.

"Hahaha! That reaction of yours is just priceless! Now, do you understand why I am teaching these stuff to you little lady?"

Annie nodded and decided to focus on this Cleric training. Seeing the change in her attitude, the Elder praised Annie and handed over 3 books that looked as thick as a dictionary.

"Alright. Before you move on to practical work, make sure to read all of that. As for the memorization part, just memorizing 50% of the contents of the three books is fine. Unless you are a monster like Elton over, memorizing 90% of the contents of these books."

Annie almost wanted to cry the moment she heard she needed to read and thought, "Damn it! Why do I even need to read books and crap in this game?! VRMMORPGs were fun they said... what's so fun about reading... Oh god... I should have listened to mom and not play this game."

After resigning herself to her fate, Annie decided to just read the books. But just as she was about to do so, Elton handed over something that looked like eyeglasses.

"Here. Wear this. It will let you read an entire page in a split second."

When Annie heard this, she immediately grabbed the eyeglasses and thanked Elton and subconsciously hugged him.

"Thank you! You saved my 'life'! Thank you!"

Not knowing what to do in this situation, Elton blushed a bit and thought, "So this is the feeling of getting hugged by a girl. (Too bad she's human. If she was a halfblood, I might consider making her my wife in the future if she is older.)"

...

Meanwhile, back at the girls dormitory...

"Umm... can I go back now? My sister is... ummm..." Abby tried speaking out her mind but due to her shyness, she just cannot do so.

Cidney also found it hard to communicate with her so she said, "It's fine girl. Let's first go into my room. We can think of what to do after that."

"Umm... okay... (Why is this so hard? Ahhhh!!! Annie! Help!)" Abby just tagged along since she cannot speak out her mind.

So the both of them went up to the second floor of the dorm and Cidney led Abby towards a nearby room.

"Strange. I know I've written my name on the door. Is someone pulling pranks again? (I bet it was Harleen or Lisa. I hate those two.)"

After that line of thought, she opened the door and led Abby inside. But what she saw inside shocked her. She just wanted to release her rage.

She saw a guy sleeping on her bed and was enjoying himself. He was even drooling on the pillows she just cleaned recently.

"PERVERT! GET OUT OF MY ROOM! (F**k this day! JUST F**k THIS CURSED DAY! I HATE MEN! AAAAHHHHH!!!!)" Cidney took out a dagger from her storage ring and dashed towards the guy sleeping. Just as she was about to do so, she heard Abby speak softly.

"Guild master? (What is he doing here?)"
