"Damn. That was too close. (Zzzz... I still feel the chills flowing between my legs...)"
Jay was currently trying to recover from what happened to him back at the girls dorm. Right now, he was in front of the academy due to him getting teleported by that freezing lady.
"Yo, chicken lord. Can I start my training now since I am awake already?"
Not having anything else to do at the moment and lacking time since the tournament is just 2 days away, Jay wanted to train his chicken skills.
"Sure, but instead of going back to that small cave, go and find a spacious area this time since you won't be staying in your 'Mind Room' to train anymore."
Jay did not know why the Chicken Lord said so, but he must have some good reasons why so he just agreed.
"If I remember correctly, the Eastern Area of the island is pretty spacious. Well, if it's not as I remembered it, I can always go ask Lord Tygon."
After thinking of this trivial matter, Jay went inside the academy to make use of the teleportation gate since he does not want anyone to find out about his fast travel powers.

Meanwhile, somewhere else in the academy...
"Are you afraid of me girl? Or is it because of my attire?" The lady in blue dress who froze Jay recently was currently with Abby in a nice and cozy room. Seeing that Abby was too afraid to even speak a word, she sighed and decided to wear the usual white robe uniform.
"Sorry for not introducing myself earlier properly little girl. My name is Lissandra. I am an Elder of the academy. I am also in charge of the Advance Magic Classes and protection of the girls dorm."
Abby got shocked the moment she learned that she actually came under tutelage of an Elder and started panicking again.
"Umm... ummm... I... (Wow. She's so pretty. Is she really an elder?)" Abby was a bit confused with the term Elder and thought Lissandra was some kind of old lady.
(** Elder is some kind of position, elder is an old person.)
"Well, I suppose we can first work on your character before I train you in magic. Follow me."
Lissandra grabbed Abby's hand and teleported somewhere else.

--- Frozen Times Tower, somewhere on the southern area of the island---
The Frozen Times Tower was over 30m tall. It was painted with a black color and had white paint for it's doors and windows. It's roof looked like and observatory's telescope. But instead of a long shaft for the telescope, it had clocks that were constructed out of a golden type of material and was inscribed with different magic runes.
This tower was currently unavailable for students unless approved by an Elder. Right now, on the tower's topmost floor, Lissandra and Abby were currently talking with Lord Tygon, or probably his clone since Lord Tygon is enjoying his sleep in his small stony house.
There were only 3 things in the room besides the small square window and the stairs leading to the room. 2 praying mats and an iron bowl with a clock attached to its front.
"You wish to use the Frozen Time Space? Are you sure this little girl is worth your time Lissandra?"
Lord Tygon's clone asked while standing in an upright position with his hands at his back.
"Of course my lord. I wouldn't have brought her here if she was note worth my time." After replying to the clone, Lissandra whispered something to it.
Lord Tygon's clone glanced at Abby after that and left.
"Alright. Abby, go ahead and sit down on one of the praying mats and put that iron bowl on your head."
Abby nodded her head and did as Lissandra asked. After seeing Abby is in position, Lissandra poked the iron bowl and performed a weird chant.
Just like that, both of them suddenly got transported in some kind of cave that was filled with different types of crystals.

--- Frozen Time Space ---
Abby was really amazed by how pretty the place looked like with all the crystals shining in different colors. It felt like she was inside a cave filled with rainbows.
"Wow. So pretty."
Lissandra chuckled as she saw Abby's reaction and started speaking.
"This place is called the 'Frozen Time Space.' In here, time moves faster than the time in the real world. A year inside this place will just be a few days in real time."
Abby did not know what that means and was a bit confused. Seeing the confusion on her face, Lissandra elaborated more on what Abby was supposed to do here.
"If you're wondering why I brought you here, it's because you are going to undergo a special type of training. And don't worry, I will be with you the whole time to answer your questions."
Abby panicked when she heard 'special type of training' and thought, "Umm... What will I do if sis and the others will look for me?"
Oblivious to Abby's thoughts, Lissandra took out a large and thick book and opened it.
"Alright. First thing we need to do is to work on your weakness." After saying that, Lissandra suddenly casted a spell.
'Dreamweaver's World'
Abby suddenly felt sleepy and said something before she slumped down to the ground. "Umm... weakness? (I'm scared. What is happening?)"
That was the last thing Abby thought of before falling into deep sleep.

--- Eastern Area, The Great Desert ---

The sound of the wind hitting the dried up rocks was currently the only thing to be heard in this desert. It was so hot that you have to focus on where you are going unless you want to become a dried up mummy.
As for Jay, he was constantly using his Freezing Hand spell to keep himself cold in this hot and sunny desert.
"Damn. I feel like this desert is bigger than I remembered it to be. I should just hurry up and find that place."
Not even having enough strength to think or speak, Jay hurried up and kept moving east. Then after some time later, he reached a large ruined castle.
The ruined castle was so large that it can probably fit 2 copies of the Golden Fortress back at Greengarden. Sadly, the castle is in a very sorry state. The place was filled with rubble, dirt, and moss. Strangely though, the surrounding area of the ruined castle was not filled with sand, but rather, a strange and odd type of stone that was a bit cold to the touch.
"Finally. Hey, Chicken Lord, is that place fine?" Jay asked as he moved towards the ruined castle.
"Oh. What a good place you found. The rubble and the stones are good things we can use for some dummy targets. And the size, it is perfect for you to run around."
After the Chicken Lord agreed to it, Jay got motivated and even went faster until he reached some kind of courtyard that was cleaner than expected since there was no rubble or moss around it.
"Alright. Do you still remember the skills I showed you during your class promotion? I want you to keep on doing it until you master it. If you fail an attempt, you will have to run around this courtyard three times and do other kinds of running. You can start anytime you want."
Jay prepared himself and started training.

While Jay, Abby, and Hot Buns were having their own kind of intense training, the rest of the people from Golden Phoenix was currently listening to lectures by Elders in the different classrooms of the academy.
And just like that, 2 days have passed.

--- Eastern Area, Ruined Castle ---
"Faster. I need to go faster!"
Jay was currently in his chicken form and running very fast while trying to aim his feathers at the nearby rocks where he drew some targets on.

~~Fuuu~~
Multiple feathers were thrown by Jay and got ignited in mid air. But sadly, the feathers were not fast enough to reach the target and got burnt to ash in mid air.
"FASTER!"
Not giving up on it, Jay repeated the process again and managed to do it the 3rd time.
"So, what's my result this time?" Jay asked as he went back to his human form.
"Not bad. But you should only ignite the feathers if you're enemies are close enough. It's still to hard for you to control the flames on the feathers. But for the rest of the skills, I am impressed. Even in your human form, I am impressed by how you managed to improve in just 2 days."
Jay felt a bit relieved when he heard the Chicken Lord's comment on his training so far. Knowing that it was time for him to go for now, he used his fast travel power and went to the teleportation tower of the academy.
