After walking for a while, the Chicken Lord and the group he was leading arrived at a grassy hill.

Everyone was currently in a straight line. The Chicken Lord checked and observed them one by one. He was currently trying to assess their power levels.

After he was done with that, the Chicken Lord spoke up.

"I hope everyone has prepared for this training. I know all of you have your own specialties, or classes, but that doesn't matter in the training you are about to undergo."

When everyone heard this, they were confused about what the Chicken Lord was talking about.

"This training session may last for a week, a month, or more. I will help you all become Divine Beings. If not, at least a Half Divine."

"Seriously?" Hot Buns was the first to react and had a weird look on his face. It was as if he did not believe what the Chicken Lord said.

"But first, I will need all of you to at least be at the ninth tier of your class." After saying this, the Chicken Lord suddenly made clones of himself.

"Those who have melee fighting classes, come with me"

"Those who prefers using magic, come with me."

"Those who has two or more classes, come with me..."

Each of his clones said something and walked away from everyone, gesturing the people they stated to come with them.

"Roasted Boar, since you already have an advanced class at the third tier, those simple training methods of my clones does not matter to you." The Chicken Lord said as he watched everyone follow his clones and grabbed Roasted Boar by his shoulder.

But just as he was about to proceed and teach Roasted Boar about the Origin Core and other stuff related to Divine Beings, Horace suddenly approached him.

"Care to have a match with me? If you are really going to train me or anyone, then I want to see if you have the power to do so." Horace said as he went on a fighting stance and released the aura of a Half-Divine.

"Oh? You're already a half divine? Interesting."

The Chicken Lord gestured everyone to first watch the duel between him and Horace before moving on to training.

...

Everyone was currently at the sides as they awaited the duel about to happen.

The Chicken Lord had his arms crossed as he looked at Horace, who was stretching his arms.

"3 moves. If you cannot wound me in three moves, then this duel is over. If you can make me move from this spot, then I will reconsider your challenge and take you on seriously." The Chicken Lord said as he beckoned Horace to start.

Horace just spat on the ground and suddenly charged at the Chicken Lord.

'Raging Wave Fist'

Horace exclaimed as his left hand balled into a fist. His speed increased and he suddenly arrived at the backside of the Chicken Lord. The moment he did so, he quickly punched with his left hand and suddenly, a huge wave of water appeared at his back and crashed down on the Chicken Lord.

"Not bad..."

The Chicken Lord just chuckled and used Feather Mirage. It was as if his feathers were pieces of sponge that suddenly soaked up all the water. As for the punch, he just tilted his head to the right and dodged it.

'Tiger King's Roar!'

Horace shouted and his right hand suddenly grabbed the Chicken Lord's back. After doing so, a powerful shockwave got emitted from his palm and attempted to blast the Chicken Lord away.

But what happened was out of his expectations. The Chicken Lord received the attack just like that but he did not even move an inch. The Chicken Lord just looked at him and laughed.

"One more attack. Better use your strongest move old man."

When Horace heard the mocking tone from the Chicken Lord when he said this, he got furious and moved away 10 steps.

"Fine, just as you wanted. I will use my strongest move!" Horace shouted and his hands suddenly turned into claws. Then suddenly, a strong gust of wind covered his left hand and a raging flame covered his right hand.

"Damn. It looks like I underestimated this guy..." The Chicken Lord said since he felt the abnormal increase in Horace's power.

'Dragon's Roar!'

Horace shouted as he charged at the Chicken Lord and used his left hand. The moment his fist was about to connect with the Chicken Lord's body, an illusory image of a dragon's head roaring appeared on his fist.

The Chicken Lord got a bit serious and also used a fist to block Horace's attack. The moment he did, even though nothing happened to him, a wide area at his back has been blown away by the wind. The usual flowery and grassy area behind him was now just a barren area of dirt.

'Dragon's Breath!'

Horace shouted again and used his right hand this time to attack the Chicken Lord. The moment his fist connected with the Chicken Lord's fist, it looked as if his entire fist became larger and an illusory dragon made out of flames appeared behind him.

Then after a split second, the Chicken Lord was suddenly covered with flames and caused an explosion afterwards.

"That's enough I guess." The Chicken Lord thought to himself and his feathers suddenly absorbed the flames since he did not want a wildfire to erupt and burn Izumi's Garden to ash.

"What!? Impossible! Those were real dragon flames which are more hotter than regular flames!" Horace said as he felt his body going numb. So he moved away from the Chicken Lord again and had a ghastly expression on his face.

"I lost... let me just rest for a while before I go with your training." Horace said as he lied down on the ground.

After this duel, everyone started their training with the Chicken Lord.

...

Meanwhile, at some place in Holtheim...

--- Beldrum Rock

Beldrum Rock was known as the largest trading center in Holtheim. The place was filled with traders and merchants trying to sell their goods at their own stalls. And at the very far end of the area was a stone castle that was surrounded by four mage towers.

The one who ruled over this place was known as Mistress Yvaine. As for the one who kept the peace around, it was the hot blooded sorceress named Dolores.

...

Beldrum Castle's Courtyard...

King Arturus looked like he just suffered poverty and became crazy. He had an unkempt appearance, his eyes were red, and he kept on clutching his hands.

"Damn monkeys..." King Arturus muttered to himself as he looked at the people in front of him.

These people were the Counts and Viscounts who just returned from the war due to his orders. The reason why King Arturus looked at them hatefully was because out of the 40 Counts and Viscounts of Holtheim, only 8 of them were still alive.

"My king, its not entirely our fault. Not only did we fight against those Wildergreene people, we also suffered from the assault of a beastmen army." Count Griscar the IV said and tried his best not to anger King Arturus.

"I told you all to immediately recall your forces and meet me here. Just what did you do?!!" King Arturus shouted furiously and kicked a mirror beside him.

...

--- Greengarden, the Graycastle

"Hey sis, do you know what is going on at the throne room right now? Why are most of the kings and queens of Wildergreene gathered there?" Princess Hailey asked Princess Auriel.

Both of them were currently in the castle's courtyard and were told not to go to the throne room for the meantime.

"I'm pretty sure its about Holtheim's surprise attack yesterday. But its a bit weird... I've heard from brother that just as Holtheim's forces were about to gather outside of Greengarden, they were suddenly called back."

...

Throne room...

"An army of beastmen? A weird potion? What's this all about?" Queen Auburn asked everyone gathered at the throne room. Instead of her asking everyone to prepare for a feast since they managed to survive Holtheim's surprise attack, she was now infuriated to learn about a beastmen army lurking around Wildergreene. There were even cases of these beastmen using some kind of potion to boost their fighting potential.

"We are not sure what their after my queen. But what we know is that this beastmen army clashed with Holtheim's forces. As for that potion, we managed to capture and interrogate a guy named Johnny. He told us that it was called Overdrive and can cause a temporary boost in someone's fighting prowess. It can also be thrown at enemies in order to cause an explosion of fire and ice." King Xavier said as he read a scroll that contained the reports of his men.

"What about our casualties?" Prince Frederick asked. The one who replied was Lord Brambleheart.

"Around a million people. Me and my brothers managed to deduce that sixty percent of these casualties were the unlucky citizens. But most of our casualties weren't caused by Holtheim's forces, but rather, that beastmen army. As for our cities lost and conquered by the beastmen, there are five of them so far."

When Queen Auburn heard the casualty report, she frowned and her thoughts of having a feast were immediately set aside.

"Everyone prepare yourselves. We might have to launch our own attack against Holtheim and the beastmen soon. As for where you'll be staying, just make camp near the city." Queen Auburn said and gestured everyone to leave.

...

After everyone left the throne room, with only Queen Auburn and Prince Frederick remaining...

"Do you have news about Alfred?" Queen Auburn immediately asked Prince Frederick.

"I've heard that Bloomridge City is one of the cities conquered by the beastmen. Alfred and Amanda were last spotted fleeing from the city last night."

"A lot of things happened in just a single day... I wonder what else will happen if this war continues..." Queen Auburn said softly as she hugged her purple teddy bear.

...

Meanwhile, back to where Jay and Stromm was...

--- Darkhaven

The continent of Darkhaven was once known as the Fatelord's home, but due to some unfortunate events, the continent undergone drastic changes which caused the Fatelords to relocate to the Sacred Song Isles.

When seen from the skies, Darkhaven was enshrouded by a thick fog. But this fog was just actually some kind of illusion that hindered the senses of people who entered this continent.

The soil and rocks of the place had a dark purplish color to it. Some kind of poisonous gas drifted through the air. And frequently, the roar of some monsters could be heard.

"Welcome to Darkhaven. It may seem uninhabitable, but it is still actually a nice place to settle down. As long as you can fight the monsters living here, you have nothing to worry about." Stromm said with a gleeful look on his face.

As the blue dragon he and Jay were riding on continued to fly towards a certain destination in the continent, Jay was lost in his own thoughts as he tried to remember most of the things Hellson placed in Dungeons and Towers of Fate.

"Darkhaven was one of the most cruel farming spots for players. The monsters that spawned here were usually level 100 and above. I remember that this is where I got my main weapon when I was still a Grand Sorcerer, I wonder if it is still at the same spot..."

Jay kept on mumbling softly as he tried to recalled his thoughts. When Stromm heard Jay's mumbling, he was a bit surprised.

"It looks like I don't have to tour him around then..." Stromm said to himself before asking his blue dragon to fly faster.
