Stromm's home was just a small cave on the base of the hill. The only thing he had was some bookshelves, a box containing his food and drinks, and a bedroll. The cave was being lit up by the weird crystals on the walls.

"Let me just grab some snacks before we proceed with your training." Stromm said hurriedly as he rummaged through his food box.
While Stromm was doing that, Jay looked around and casually picked up a book that was scattered on the floor.
"Application of Soul Spells through Fate Particles..." Jay read the book's title softly and attempted to read it. The moment he was about to flip through the book, an electrifying shock was sent through his hand. He knew it was obviously Stromm that did it, but he saw that Stromm was still grabbing some food.
"Don't touch my research. Just wait for me at the nearby forest."

--- Purplemist Forest
Just following as he is told, Jay proceeded to this forest that was just a few distances away from Stromm's home.
The trees in the forest had amethyst colored trunks and grayish leaves. If compared to the size of the trees back at Izumi's abode, these trees were gigantic in size.
The reason why this forest is named as such is because at some parts of the forest, a purple toxic gas shrouded the area.

After a few minutes of waiting, Stromm appeared beside Jay and started instructing him.
"Chicken Hero, start by feeling the magicka particles around you. After doing so, slowly attempt to dismantle one of these magicka particles and absorb some kind of golden bead that will appear when the 'shell' comes off. These golden beads are what we call as Fate Particles." Stromm said and performed a demonstration.
Bluish specks of light appeared around his body and suddenly turned into a golden light after a split second.
"Your turn. Don't worry and take your time. I've brought enough food and drink that can last for a week while I watch you." Stromm said lazily as he suddenly lied down on the ground and leaned on a tree. He then took out an enormous cookie and started eating.
Just as he was about to take a second bite of his cookie, he almost choked as he saw that Jay already managed to comprehend what he said.
Specks of golden light appeared around Jay. But the time it took Jay to convert the magicka particles around him into Fate Particles took around 1-2 seconds.
But what Stromm did not know was that Hellson was coaching Jay on how to do it and the trick behind it.
"Good, good. Keep it up Jay. Just remember to focus and feel the connection between you and the magicka around you. If you concentrate and focus up to a certain point, you will immediately feel as if you can peel something off from the magicka particles..." Hellson said ecstatically. He was just feeling really happy for Jay who managed to become a Fatelord like him.

After drinking some water to calm himself down, Stromm told Jay that he can stop so that they can proceed to the next step.
"Chicken Hero, go ahead and try combining your skills and spells with the Fate Particles around you. Fate Particles can also be used the same way as magicka. The only difference is that Fate Particles will cause a drastic change to your skills and spells, making them extremely powerful. But when compared to those planar invaders, there are a lot of factors involved so don't think about it too much for now." Stromm said and hoped Jay will enjoy messing around with his skills and spells so that he can return to his lazy life and eat his enormous cookie.
"Lord Stromm, can I roam around the continent while trying out my skills and spells? This way, not only will I experience actual combat when facings monsters, I will also manage to grab some precious loot that I can use to strengthen myself and my kingdom." Jay said since he saw Stromm having a slaphappy look on his face while eating a cookie.
"Sure, sure. Just use your Fatelord Emblem to talk to me when you're done." Stromm said and suddenly teleported himself somewhere else. It was pretty obvious that he went back to his home though.

Meanwhile, back at Izumi's Garden...
"Hey, you guys... don't you think you are going too far? Who told you to burn and destroy my lovely flowers???" Izumi said with a weird look on her face and her hands were shaking, as if she was trying to prevent herself to kill someone.
In front of her was one of the Chicken Lord's clones and Horace. No matter how hard they tried to think of a way to calm Izumi down, they were too afraid to speak.
Then suddenly...
~Boom, boom, boom (explosion sounds)...
"No! My garden!" Izumi quickly shouted and went to the place where the explosion occurred and ignored Horace and the Chicken Lord's clone.
After she arrived at the area where the explosion occurred, she saw one of the Chicken Lord's clone again who was together with Roselia, Boras, and a chubby guy.
"What is the meaning of this?!!" Izumi tried to speak calmly as she pointed at a large crater on the ground near her.
"Fatelord Izumi! You're just in time to see the strongest skill in this world!" The chubby guy said as he sat down on the ground. Then after a few seconds later, some kind of farting sound came from him and a jet of fire came out of his buttocks and propelled him high into the air.
Then while the chubby guy was about to land, some small scale explosions appeared from his 'launching' area.
"Wahahahah!!! I bet no one expects an explosion spell coming out from a guy's ass! Wahahaha!!!" The chubby guy said happily before getting blasted into the air by Izumi.
"You... you..." Izumi cannot even describe the thing she just witnessed in words. She was so furious and kept the chubby guy suspended in mid air and made him twirl around in circles. Just as she thought her problems are not going to get any worse...
"Kiyahhh..." Izumi suddenly let of a cute sound as she felt something pricking her 'special place.'
"Found you gramps... oh..." The tree guy, Thorn, said happily. He was playing hide and seek with Kokori while they were on break since the Chicken Lord told them he was having problems with Izumi.
But just as he thought he found Kokori, he hid underground and tagged him with one of his prickly fingers. Then this happened.
After a few seconds, Izumi released her Fatelord Aura and shouted furiously on the top of her lungs.
"ALL OF YOU GET YOUR ASSES OVER HERE THIS INSTANT!"
While she shouted this, she thought to herself, "I'll get you back for this Jay! AAAHHHH!!!"
Everyone heard this shout. May it be the Chicken Lord and the ones he was training, the ones wandering around the gardens, and the ones inside the guild hall.

"Achoo!" Jay suddenly felt as if someone was talking about him the moment he suddenly coughed. It even felt as if someone just formed a grudge against him.
"Screw it. I still have some stuff to do right now." Jay said to himself as he started to roam around the forest, hoping to encounter some monsters.
