Jay asked Toran and Ashara who were following him. He also patted Cubsy who was currently riding his back.
They were currently on the way towards Bevelona City since that was the only place Jay knew of besides Zena's Village. He literally did not have any clue about any other places in Ashnakara.
"By the way, if you're not going to put on a female disguise, just cover yourself up." Jay said as he looked at Toran.
"Lady Zena, is it fine if I act like a summon with you being the summoner? I really do not like covering myself up since it feels like I am in a boiling pot. As for having a female disguise... just thinking about it gives me the creeps."
"I wonder how they will react if they learn I am in a female disguise." Jay thought to himself as he agreed to Toran's idea.

"What's wrong Cubsy?" Jay suddenly signaled the two following him to stop. Cubsy suddenly jumped off his back and suddenly, the trees on their right suddenly shook violently before getting uprooted by something.
A black gorilla that was twice the size of the trees suddenly jumped and landed in front of Jay and co.
It started roaring crazily as it eyed the group.
"The two of you keep watch of the surroundings just in case something else is stalking us. Cubsy and I will deal with this." Jay said since he saw Cubsy immediately running towards the black gorilla.
He did not waste any time and quickly activated his Spirit Power. After doing so, he followed behind Cubsy.
The black gorilla got even more crazy and went furious when it saw Jay and Cubsy charging towards it. It suddenly slammed the ground with its two fists and afterwards, threw a punch at Jay.
Jay wanted to try out if he can fight it out with the black gorilla and retaliated with a fist of his own. The moment he did, he suddenly felt a staggering weight falling upon him.
"CUBSY!"
Jay quickly shouted for backup since he did not know how much longer he could last before getting blown away by the black gorilla's punch. Cubsy seem to understood him and quickly pounced on the black gorilla's face and bit its nose.
The black gorilla retracted its fist that was punching Jay and instead, targeted Cubsy. It did not really feel any pain from Cubsy's attack, but it was just really annoyed.
Jay moved quickly and slid down beneath the black gorilla. The moment he did, he sent a powerful blow to its belly and quickly rolled over to the side.

The black gorilla received quite some damage from Jay's attack since its belly was a bit softer than the rest of its body. It ignored Cubsy who was still biting on to its nose and charged at Jay, who was at its right.
"Damn. Spirit Power is actually some kind of expendable power like magicka..." Jay thought to himself since the bluish sparks covering his body disappeared and only the bluish smoke was left. Together with the disappearance of the bluish sparks was a great decline in his power.
"Shit! No choice."
Jay hoped for the best and dodged the black gorilla's charge. Sadly though, his right leg got hit by the black gorilla's charge when he dodged over to the side. Seeing that Jay was about to get trampled over, Cubsy quickly pawed the eyes of the black gorilla but the moment she did this, the black gorilla shook its head and made her fall off.
"Fuck!"
Jay cursed loudly and felt the bones on his right leg were cracked. His last resort was using chicken skills, but he knew that it was useless. He cannot even defeat Cubsy in his chicken form, so it was pretty obvious that it was useless against the black gorilla.
"Skully! Take over!" Jay quickly shouted in his mind since he remembered another trump card he had.
The moment he did, his eyes suddenly turned bloodshot and a baleful aura covered the whole area around him.
The black gorilla who just stopped its charge immediately sensed danger as it looked at Jay but did not give a crap about it and decided to charge at Jay again, who was currently crippled.
But before it even had the chance to do so, it saw Jay's right leg suddenly getting healed and rushing towards her.

'Jay' suddenly increased in speed and grabbed the black gorilla's face. Not even knowing what was going on, the black gorilla's body suddenly bubbled up and inflated. The next thing that happened after a few seconds was a very gory scene. It exploded into a thousand pieces with all of its blood and guts splattering around.
"Master, I am going to sleep now. See you in a few days." Skully said to Jay and removed his control over Jay's body.

Cubsy was so terrified of what she saw and quickly hid in one of the bushes nearby.
"Damn. I better improve in some way using Spirit Power or I won't even reach Bevelona City at this rate."
Before Jay could even settle his thoughts, Toran and Ashara quickly approached him. The both of them had a weird look on their faces and were drenched in their own sweat.
"Lady Zena... no... who are you?" Ashara quickly spoke up. The moment 'Jay' killed the black gorilla, she and Toran saw the move 'Jay' used and it looked really familiar. It was Blood Magic. Toran might not know how strong it exactly is, but Ashara knew that the move 'Jay' used was only possible if one was a practitioner of Satanic Blood Magic.
"A planar traveler." Jay said and hoped that the two won't learn about his real identity.
"My lady, that moved you just used, where did you learn it?" Ashara asked since she still had some doubts about Jay's identity.
"A guy named Vladimir." Jay made up a lie since he did not want to mention anything about Skully, the red book, or the Shurym Plane.
Ashara and Toran were currently lost in their own thoughts but Jay quickly snapped them out of it and told them that they should keep moving before any more beasts attack them. As for Cubsy, she slowly crept towards Jay and rode his back, still feeling a trace of fear towards Jay.

After a few hours of traveling, it was already noontime. Jay and co. were currently near a wide river. Their problem right now was to find a way to cross the river.
"Damn. I should've asked Toran to do it." Jay told himself as he warmed up his hands over a bonfire. The reason he was doing so was because he tried touching the river water just a few moments earlier and his hands almost got frozen solid.
After that idiotic attempt, Toran tried building a raft but he cannot even cut down a tree. Even when he used his Spirit Power, the trees he tried cutting down did not even budge and he only left a scratch.
Then there was Ashara. She almost tried to jump across since she boasted about how she can use a 'double jump.' But in the end, she chickened out since she realized that the river was wider than what she imagined in her mind.
As for Cubsy was happily eating her food and did not care about anyone else at the moment.
So now, they were stuck here. They were currently eating some dried fish that they got from the village while sitting around a bonfire.
"Alright. Change of plans." Jay said and told everyone to split up and explore the riverbank, hoping that there was some kind of land bridge somewhere.
After eating for a few moments, Jay and Cubsy started walking east. As for the two Shurymites, they went the opposite direction.

Meanwhile, after a couple of minutes Jay and co. left their spot, someone suddenly emerged from the river. It was a woman with long, silky, black hair. She had a curvy body and a snowflake tattoo on her neck.
"Damn it! The tournament is just days away and I cannot even freeze a stupid river! Goddammit!" The woman who emerged from the river cursed loudly.
"Huh? Why is my body so heavy..." The woman wondered why and saw that her clothes were frozen solid. Not having any other choice, she shattered her frozen clothes, leaving her naked. After doing so, she finally was able to move freely and she went up the riverbank, the opposite side where Jay and the rest were.
Just as she was about to wonder where she could get a new set of clothes, she saw some people walking at the opposite riverbank.
"Villagers? I thought I told my servants to do some cleaning?" After getting lost in her own thoughts, she decided to have some fun and jumped down the river again.

"Damn. Just how long is this river?" Jay wondered to himself since he knew that he was getting nowhere at all. It has been an hour since he and Cubsy started walking and they still haven't found some way to cross the river.
After a few minutes, Jay and Cubsy reached a large lake, where the river probably originated.
Jay sighed as he saw how large the lake was. Just as he was wondering how long it would probably take him and the rest if they circle the lake in order to get across the river, he saw someone resting near a tree.
It was a little girl who was wearing ragged clothes. She had short red hair and had a knife on her right hand. There was blood all over her face and was currently breathing loudly, as if she was on death's door.
"Hellson! Any ideas how I can help her? I do not know any healing magic." Jay quickly asked Hellson as he approached the little girl and knelt in front of her.
The moment he approached her, the little girl lifted her head and looked at Jay. She even pointed the knife she was holding towards Jay.
"Please... I don't... want... to use... this..." The little girl tried speaking but she suddenly shrieked in pain afterwards.
"Jay, store her in the Storage Orb. If my memory is correct, Goldwisp added some kind of time mechanism on his orbs. In short, time runs very slow inside the Storage Orb, making perishable goods or living things stay there for a couple of years."
Jay had an idea what Hellson was planning. It was to keep the little girl within the Storage Orb until they find some kind of potion or if they reach Bevelona City.
"Don't worry. I won't hurt you. You're safe now." Jay comforted the little girl and hugged her before storing her away in the Storage Orb.
"Hey, I never asked this before, but how does the Storage Orb exactly work with living beings? Do I need their consent or something? Or can I just store them anytime?" Jay asked Hellson as he stood up.
"I... don't really know. Try it out with the bear cub." Hellson said and Jay quickly did as he asked. But the moment he did, Cubsy suddenly panicked and became even more fearful of Jay.

Cubsy quickly ran away from Jay and hid behind a tree.
"Alright! It's confirmed that I need their consent." Jay said and tried to laugh it off.

Under the lake, Jay did not know that he was being watched by someone. It was the lady from before.
"Wait... what did she do? That little girl suddenly disappeared... how?" The lady did not know what Jay did and was lost in her own thoughts.
"Wait...that little girl..." The lady suddenly remembered something and she suddenly got chills all over her body after remembering something.
"It can't be her!"
Wanting to confirm whatever she had on her mind, she quickly emerged from the lake and tackled Jay.

They were currently eating some dried fish that they got from the village while sitting around a bonfire."Alright. Change of plans." Jay said and told everyone to split up and explore the riverbank, hoping that there was some kind of land bridge somewhere.After eating for a few moments, Jay and Cubsy started walking east. As for the two Shurymites, they went the opposite direction....Meanwhile, after a couple of minutes Jay and co. left their spot, someone suddenly emerged from the river. After doing so, she finally was able to move freely and she went up the riverbank, the opposite side where Jay and the rest were.Just as she was about to wonder where she could get a new set of clothes, she saw some people walking at the opposite riverbank."Villagers? It has been an hour since he and Cubsy started walking and they still haven't found some way to cross the river.After a few minutes, Jay and Cubsy reached a large lake, where the river probably originated.Jay sighed as he saw how large the lake was. Just as he was wondering how long it would probably take him and the rest if they circle the lake in order to get across the river, he saw someone resting near a tree.It was a little girl who was wearing ragged clothes. She had short red hair and had a knife on her right hand. There was blood all over her face and was currently breathing loudly, as if she was on death's door."Hellson! Any ideas how I can help her? I do not know any healing magic." Jay quickly asked Hellson as he approached the little girl and knelt in front of her.The moment he approached her, the little girl lifted her head and looked at Jay. She even pointed the knife she was holding towards Jay."Please... I don't... want... to use... this..." The little girl tried speaking but she suddenly shrieked in pain afterwards."Jay, store her in the Storage Orb. If my memory is correct, Goldwisp added some kind of time mechanism on his orbs. In short, time runs very slow inside the Storage Orb, making perishable goods or living things stay there for a couple of years."Jay had an idea what Hellson was planning. It was to keep the little girl within the Storage Orb until they find some kind of potion or if they reach Bevelona City."Don't worry. I won't hurt you. You're safe now."
