"Well, I guess I can give up on getting an SSS ranking then..." Jay sighed as he was teleported out of the dungeon.
After a few seconds, Jay was teleported back on Murkwood Town's Adventurer's Guild. But due to the long distance teleportation, Jay almost puked from dizziness.
"Oh god... Why does teleportation feel this way?" Jay said softly as his best not to puke. While he was doing that, John, the NPC Class Tutor, laughed at him.
"Giyahahaha!!! What's wrong with you kid? You are probably the first beast tamer to almost puke from passing the trial! Giyahahaha!!! Here, drink this." John then passed over a small green colored potion to Jay.
[Jay received Small Cure Potion (Common)]
Jay immediately drank it since he really was to dizzy to do anything else. After that, he then asked John: "Master John Joe Jack, may I ask what my rank is in the beast tamer trial?"
John then started to be more serious as he replied "Kid, I want to congratulate you. When I checked how much Monster Essence you had collected, I was surprised and disappointed." then a strong and intimidating aura started to emanate from John.
Of course, Jay was intimidated a bit. After an awkward pause, John then told Jay: "I was surprised since you managed to collect 867 Monster Essences. And do you know why I am disappointed?"
Jay then shook his head since he was not sure if he should utter a word right now.
"I am disappointed since 90% of those Monster Essences came from slimes! Let me ask you kid... If you were running a beast taming business and your supplier only gave you Slimes to sell, would you be happy?"
When Jay heard John's explanation, his thoughts suddenly cleared why John was a bit strange right now. Jay then asked John his previous question. "So, about my rank..."
John then went back to his normal self and replied "You completed my beast tamer class trial with a ranking of A. You could have had a higher rating if you just tamed a variety of monsters... but screw all that! Here. Take this."
John then handed over a token shaped like a bear's paw that was made out of silver.

"Huh? I'm just generous for the time being. So stop dawdling and just activate it already."
When Jay heard John's remark, he knew that he might not have another chance like this so he activated the token.

"Earlier this day, Lord Barton came here with that golden chicken. He also asked you to go to his tower the moment you finished the trial. Good luck! And do not tell him that his illusion spells are useless on a dwarf! Giyahahaha!!!" John then went back to his business.
Jay then thought to himself: "Barton... Should I thank him or not for doing stuff to Nuggets? Oh well, I should just go to him and see what he wants."
Jay then left the Adventurer's guild and went towards Barton's Mage Tower.
