Shengli after comforting his brother for a while went back to the mountain. He knew if Xing decides to hide in here, he cannot find her even if he searches for his entire life. She always won Hide and Seek back when they were kids. But his silly kitten surely wants to be found this time and so he took a deep breath and concentrated his thoughts to think about her and took each step.
Within minutes, he was able to find her sleeping peacefully embracing... A wolf?

Xing who left Shengli walked deep inside the mountain and sensing Him not following her felt disappointed and sat on a rock mumbling curses on Shengli.
Just then she felt someone touching her back and for a moment she thought it might be Shengli but it was Pengpeng with his mate.
Xing could not hide her disappointment anymore and started sobbing hugging that big grey wolf while complaining about Shengli in Guyu language.
Of course the wolf could not understand why she wants her man to come search for her when she told him to forget her. Apparently human women think that way! Mysterious!
After Xing complained about Shengli for a while, she ended up sleeping comfortably, hugging Pengpeng and his mate enveloped around her acting as a warmer.

Shengli saw Xing wrapped closely by a wolf with it's fluffy tail acting as a blanket for her and another wolf guarding the two of them and got alerted by the arrival of Shengli. Shengli identified the guarding wolf as the one Xing was close with. What did she call this wolf? Right! Pengpeng...
How dare they touch my woman? And how dare my kitten is getting embraced this closely by a wolf? Does she think I'm dead? She wants me to forget her and just goes on sleeping with wolves... Shengli who went green with jealousy for a moment sighed after getting his senses back.
Did I seriously get jealous of a wolf ? He chided himself and walked towards her.
Seeing Shengli approach, Pengpeng stood in front of him with it's tall posture, ears perked up and tail stiffed and raised higher. Every body language of the wolf that stood almost as tall as Shengli's shoulder revealed it's dominance and his warning stance towards Shengli.
Shengli was surprised to see the wolf that would let him pass in the past, opposing him and he realised that his little kitten must have asked the wolf to guard her.
The sight of the big, domineering wolf in front of them would make anyone cower in fear but not Shengli. He knew this wolf would dare not to attack him as it knows that he is Xing's mate. There is no possibility that this wolf will anger Xing by hurting him.
Also he felt his eyes twitch by the arrogance of this wolf. How dare this wolf think it is better than him? Would she think of it and me at the same level? I'm more special to her! I am her husband and it is just her pet! That makes me it's master too... Shouldn't it know it's place against it's master?
" Thanks for guarding my wife till now. Now give way! I can take care of my wife pretty well", Shengli spoke in a condescending tone in Guyu language to the wolf and he saw the wolf still not budging an inch.
"Move", he commanded and walked towards Xing without minding the wolf straight in front of him. The other wolf got up and it seemed like it said something to Pengpeng and soon Pengpeng backed up.
"That's right! You take care of your wife, I'll take care of mine!", Shengli pointed his finger at Pengpeng, knitting his brows and went and picked up Xing who was still deep in sleep and walked away from the wolf. Even he felt a bit shamed having a row with a wolf but that wolf must know his place.
When Xing woke up she felt that familiar sensation of that warm hands that was holding her and the sweet smell she was accustomed to. She opened her eyes to see herself leaning on Shengli and he seemed to be sleeping leaning on a tree.
He really found me! How can I leave him? I won't let him go! But... What if...
Xing saw the peacefully sleeping face above her and didn't want to disturb him and didn't make any movement as her mind wandered to various thoughts when she felt his hold on her tightening and he kissed the top of her head,
"Who told you?", his deep sultry voice was heard from above her head and his warm breath tickled the crown of her head.
Xing took a deep breath as she knew what he meant, "Why is that every time I have to know something, I have to find it out myself or I'm told by someone other than you? Has it become a habit of mine to watch her from a distance and protect her by keeping her in the dark like she said? He wondered.
