Xing stood there frozen for a good minute when they repeated the chant three times and some celestial maidens flying above her dropped flower petals on her.

Xing's eyes darted to Fei Lian who is the only person whom she trusted among the gods and he looked back at her with a smile that showed his pride but Xing didn't fail to notice the deep worry in his eyes too.

With the chants being over, everyone looked at Xing as if they are looking forward for her acceptance speech or something of the sorts.
"Eh... Um...! Look..., Your Majesty, the supremely super and Magnonimously awesome Emperor and Lord of Heavens... I... Did what you asked! Old Rong... Dead!", she stuck her tongue out tilting her head to the side, "Gone! Won't ever come back. So let me be free as you've promised before! Thank you in advance! ", she gave a deep bow and grinned showing all her teeth.

Xing watched this display of public affection and wondered what did Fei Lian say for this change in attitude of Mazu. The other gods were shocked to hear what Fei Lian said too and they looked at Xing wide eyes as if she had three eyes or something.
OK! They accepted me as Prince of Heavens rather easily. So what could have surprised them to this extent?
Xing wondered for a long five seconds and then remembered that her man would be waiting for her and decided to get out of this bubble and get back to where she belonged. Finally! Finally I'm able to live with my Prince with no worries...
She tried to break the wind bubble and the Heavenly Emperor helped her by snapping his fingers and then she could hear and the other gods were mumbling and the Heavenly Emperor's majestic voice brought the chattering to an end.
