The ship was smoothly sailing in the seas with the bright moon in the sky glowing and its reflection made the water look glittery as if the stars were now on the surface of the sea.

In that calm night, a man who have considered himself as assertive and not easily swayed by emotions has sneaked inside the room of the woman who changed his life the moment he saw her removing the veil off her face.

After that night that Takanashi made such a vile remark about her, he felt like her eyes were filled with more sorrow and as usual, she was not willing to share it with him. She had meals with him as usual, joked around but the longing in her eyes only got worse.

Does everyone see that yearning she has in her eyes, he didn't know. He felt like he could give anything to not see the sorrow in her eyes. Then he'd be bold enough to ask her hand in marriage and would become the happiest man on earth. But now, he knew she won't be happy with him as she is waiting for the one in her heart.

The woman slightly shifted in her sleep and he noticed the tears in the corners of her eyes.

"Why... My Prince...?", she mumbled as always.

It broke his heart everytime he sees her tears and hear that gut wrenching, meek voice of hers but there it is,the truth.

She couldn't stop looking for him even in her sleep!

He wiped the corners of her eyes and gently patted her head and it seemed to have calmed her down and there it was... The genuine smile, the smile filled with content and love, like she's the most happiest, blessed person, like she is with the one in her heart.

Why couldn't I be the one you love this much?

But he could understand why she tries to stay strong in front of him and hide certain things from him. Everytime he tries to express himself to her, he ends up telling something or doing something that would only hurt her.

It is a miracle she is still talking to me!

And he somehow realised another thing too. Every time he tried to tell her openly that he loved her, something would happen that would change the mood or sometimes he had felt numb even...like the feelings he has for her would be ripped off from his heart and leaving only anger and resentment.

The only time he could he himself and express his love for her without anything bothering him is only when she is asleep and then he'll have to watch her calling for some other man in her sleep.

Chenglei sighed and curled himself beside her wrapping his arms around her. Like every other night, he'll have to wake up before her and leave her room.

But I still want to!

Xing woke up early these days and somehow her motion sickness is not acting up and she felt like she's been sleeping well these days.

The ships of the Ouyang Navy are following them and Xing will never forget the look the other men who came with her gave, when she returned.

The Elder Ouyang also came along with the others who asked her to find a place for them to live among the other people of the wind kingdom.

The Elder was too excited to meet his brother's descendants and Xing had a slight worry in her heart fearing how Haru would react.

Her friend was willing to send his entire family and their salt business to the Imperial gallows, since he only cared about his silk business. If she says he has to handle a navy with four hundred ships, how will he react?

Whatever!

As she finished cleaning up, Chenglei joined her for breakfast. He looked a lot tired these days and she couldn't figure out why. It looked like he was sad for some reason and when she asked about it, he didn't give a definite answer making her worry more.

As far as she can tell, he wasn't sick but it seemed like he didn't feel hungry, he'd stare blankly at times and it seemed like he became insomniac too. From what she have read from the novels she read from Lady Zhong, she'd say he was lovesick but that couldn't be the case, right?

She decided to look for medicines once she reached the shore.

As they reached the Falin Port, she didn't see Haru welcoming her but his page was there with Baobei and he informed that his mistress is in labour.

Isn't it a bit early? Xing wondered. Its only been nine months.

Xing along with Baobei clinging to her neck went to the Ming Manor in a hurried pace, joined by the Ouyang Elder and Lady Hehua. Chenglei stayed in the port arranging the entry of the ships and the members of the Ouyang Navy were documented for their entry into their kingdom.

As Xing entered Shurei's courtyard, she could hear the loud cry of the newborn baby and a smile crept up in her face. She brought in the excited Elder and Lady Hehua.

Haru was holding the baby now cleaned up and swaddled and he had a smile when he looked at her, "It's a boy like you said, Xing", his voice had the excitement of a father and Baobei got down from her.

"Shurei?", Xing asked walking towards him and looked at the baby pink and pretty. He looked a bit small probably because he could not wait for another month in his mother's belly but Xing couldn't find anything wrong with his health.

Good! Xing was happy.

"She is fine too. Apparently I'm not allowed in there. You can go...", he paused seeing the guests she brought with her.

"This is Elder Ouyang and this..."

"Lady Hehua?", Haru asked surprised interjecting Xing and His expression turned somber as he shook his head. "What trouble did you bring me, stupid?".

"Hehe", Xing grinned scratching the back of her head, "Meet your great granduncle Ouyang Ning", she pointed at the Elder and she could see him clenching his teeth.

"Give the baby to me", she got the newborn from his hands. He won't hit me if I am holding his child, right?

"You!", he wanted to scream at her but seeing her bending down introducing his little brother to Baobei, he paused. He knew his elder son will throw a tantrum seeing another little child in his mother's arms.

"Baobei! Look at your little brother. Look how small he is... Isn't he cute? You should be good to him, okay?", she said patting his head and the big scream Haru expected never came but only the obedient Baobei was looking curiously at his little brother and poked his pinky cheeks," Too small... ", he said and placed a little kiss in his brother's cheek and grabbed his little hand poking out and gently placed it inside neatly wrapped up, "He'll be cold", he said.

Xing nodded at Lady Hehua and asked Haru to take the guests to the guest room to have a talk with them and entered Shurei's bedroom with Baobei on tow.

Shurei looked a bit pale but it seemed to be that her labour only lasted for three hours and she seemed fine. Baobei wanted to hold his little brother so Xing asked him to sit on her lap and placed the little boy on his lap with her carefully holding both the boys.

Shurei saw her elder son with a content smile holding his little brother and felt happy. She has an amazing husband who stood by her holding her hands when she was going through troubles, never letting go and two adorable sons and she has a family member in her big sis Xing who really cares for her.

When her husband brought her home three years back with her eyes blank and dead, she tried her best to try and get to her and in the end nothing could get to her. She saw how much her husband worried for her and unable to bear it, she gave the idea of using their son to get her back and as she predicted, it worked.

Her elder son who cried a lot because he was colic, stopped crying and slept well the moment big sis started taking care of him. And he got pretty attached to her that only made Shurei more happy because when she grew up, she had no one to love her or care for her but her son had such an amazing woman take care of him. How lucky is he?

Seeing Xing holding both children with a gentle smile on her face, she felt a little tug in her heart.

If only she gets to be as happy as me too! Please be happy soon, big sis Xing! You deserve it!

"Baobei was a good boy taking good care of me the past month, sis Xing ", Shurei informed Xing. Another thing she never expected to happen.

"Baobei is a really sweet boy, aren't you?", Xing kissed his cheek and he gave a flashing smile. He was so proud of himself.

"Yes, you are... Yes, you are...", Xing spoke in a childish tone, rubbing her cheek in his cheek making him giggle.

He will not tell anyone how that dirty uncle berated him for crying when he saw her mother was about to leave and told him, "No responsible person will be crying if their loved one leaves. Only irresponsible brats will"

What a dirty uncle! He will prove him he is responsible!

"Haru's mother is a Ouyang and it seems like your family is the last of them", Xing explained everything to Shurei and she was shocked. Her husband told her about the expedition Xing was going and she never thought that her family would be related to the Ouyang family.

"Husband's not going to like it", she said chuckling joined by Xing. He would be definitely throwing a tantrum right now. In fact him and Baobei are not much different and maybe that's why Baobei likes Big sis Xing too.

The little boy got awakened by the noise and tried to put his little pink fingers in his small mouth and since his coordination haven't developed yet he couldn't get it inside and he shook his head to get to his fingers while making a suckling motion with his lips and started to stretch himself.

Aww! How cute!

The baby opened his eyes and he had deep blue eyes just like Haru, "Guess he'll take after his father in appearance", she looked at Shurei and she smiled , "You think so, big sis?"

"Mmm, maybe... Or I could be wrong", Xing slightly touched the nose of the little baby.

Whatever!

"Baobei, little brother is hungry. Let's give him to your mother", she asked him to stand up after getting the baby in her hands and handed him to Shurei. Shurei fed Baobei herself without hiring a wet nurse and she figured she'd do that for this son too.

"I'll go check on Haru", Xing turned to leave after asking Baobei to look after his mother. Baobei who was very interested in his little brother listened to her and sat obediently beside his mother.

As Xing turned to leave, the screeching cry of the little boy was heard and when Xing stepped closer to take a look he stopped crying.

"Brother wants to stay with mummy", Baobei translated his brother's cry.

"Looks like this one will stick to you too, big sis!", Shurei was rather pleased. "I can get good rest!", she chuckled.

Xing tried to leave but it seemed like Baobei's translation was accurate and Xing had no other way than to stay until the baby was fed and Shurei handed the baby to her without even burping him.

" Here, sis!", she looked so relieved and pleased.

Xing shook her head smiling and leaving Baobei to accompany his mother, she placed the baby in her shoulder gently patting him on his back until he burped and carried the baby along with her to the guest room to see how Haru was doing meeting his ancestor.

On the way there, the baby peed on her and after changing the baby's nappy, she wrapped him with a new swaddle cloth as the maids gave her and went inside the guest house. She was too lazy to change her clothes as she knew if the baby is going to stick to her, she is going to be wet most of the time. Baobei was like that too and this one won't be any different. If she tried to change each time she gets wet, she should be in the dressing room half the day.

It's baby's pee, it won't smell bad! Let's get used to it! Xing had practical thoughts. And just as she predicted, the wetness dried really soon courtesy of the god who treated her like a baby.

"Are you going to steal him away too?", Haru's voice seemed irritated but his eyes contrasted his displeased voice as it was filled with gentleness.

This stupid must secretly rub something on her to attract all the babies! Then again who else is more trustworthy than her in handling his children!

"Here!", Xing handed the baby to Haru with a grin in her face and that act was followed by an ear numbing screech by the displeased baby.

"You!", Haru gritted his teeth and gave the baby back to her. "Just stop that screeching", he knitted his brows.

Just as Xing held him, the baby became silent and he even tried to clasp her clothes but he couldn't and Xing gave her finger to hold and he held it for some time.

Haru rolled his eyes at Xing and bowed before the elder, "As I was saying, I cannot take responsibility for such a legendary Navy and I would be happy if you join the Imperial forces"

"You cannot!", Xing opposed it. He cannot give away such a good opportunity for the Ming family to have a status in the Imperial court. Even if he doesn't like it, his sons may find the Imperial Court amusing and might like to enter there. The Ming family now has a chance to become great like the Zhong family... Why lose this chance, right?

Xing felt the baby still trying to hold her cloth and wondered what it might be, she wondered and that's when she remembered she was having the brooch Haru gave her and she took it out and gave it to the baby and he clasped it hard.

When she gave him to Haru, he didn't cry this time and stayed silent holding the brooch. It was as if that baby wanted that brooch for himself.

"Look at that.... Our Heir!", the elder could not help but stand up and he patted the head of the baby, blessing him.

"See! It is decided. Your second son will be the Commander of the Ouyang Navy! ", Xing shrugged.

"As uttered by the Divine Ruler! Our Heir ", Lady Hehua bowed and Haru had nothing more to say as he glared at Xing.

"Divine ruler? Watch me kick her arse!", he gritted his teeth.

Stupid Xing did bring me trouble! Haru sighed.

Little did he know that the little boy in his hand would grow up to become the best Admiral they had ever seen in the history of the Wind Kingdom in the future. With a Zhong woman by his side, they ruled the seas for years to come.
