"The Four Ancient Lands are colossal Sects in the Qing Shan Continent with over 1,000,000 years of foundation," Xiao explained to Tian Yi.

"Each of them has the power that can collapse seas, shatter earth, and pierce heavens— backgrounds with immeasurably deep roots! Rumors even have it that one of the Four Ancient Land has the Qing Dynasty, the overlord of the Ninth Heaven, behind their back! Although nobody truly knows if the rumors are true, or which of the Four Ancient Lands have their backing, nobody dares to offend any of them!"

"And each of the Four Ancient Lands has one-fourth of the Qing Shan Continent under their command! Can you imagine that? Dominating one-fourth of Qing Shan Continent that spawns for millions of miles?"

"Oh, the Four Ancient Lands are also known for—"

Xiao blabbered on and on about the Four Ancient Lands as if he was obsessed with them. He clearly admired them very much.

It was only until he ran out of facts and rumors that had taken him years to gather did he stop, which ended up taking nearly four whole hours.

Meng Xiang's conscious gave up on her an hour in, falling asleep. Tian Yi, however, had surprisingly sat through the entire thing with a smile on his face, clearly enjoying his stories and rumors.

The figure in black stayed unmoving like a frozen statue, the only thing moving ever so slightly were her robes caused by the bumpy road.

After Xiao had finished talking about the Four Ancient Lands, he turned quiet, clearly tired from all that nonstop speaking.

With nothing else to do, Tian Yi turned to look at the figure clad in black robes, her body exuding a cold aura that caused others to shiver from fear.

"How are you?" he asked her.

"...."

She ignored him.

"Are you also traveling the world?" he continued.

"...."

And she continued to ignore him.

Seeing how she was unwilling to speak to him, Tian Yi wanted to keep quiet, but something about her was puzzling to him.

"Are you sick?" he asked her another question.

"?!?!"

This time the figure in black reacted to his words, surprise flashing in her cold eyes.

"W-What did you just say?" The figure in black opened her mouth to ask, her voice sounding like heavenly bells ringing in the midst of the iceland— beautiful, yet cold.

"If you're sick, then you should stay in bed. It isn't a good idea to travel in your condition," he said to her some baffling words.

The cold eyes widened with bafflement. What on earth was this kid talking about?

"Your Spirit Veins are near frozen, even your Dantian is barely able to suppress the coldness— if you don't take care of yourself, you'll die by next week, you know?"

Tian Yi's words caused both the figure in black and Xiao's eyes to widen with shock.

Xiao was dumbfounded. What was he talking about? If her Spirit Veins are frozen, how was she able to kill those bandits?

The figure in black was even more shocked than Xiao, her mouth behind the black cloth wide open.

How could he have possibly known about her situation? Even the state of her inner body to the teeth?

"Y-You… Who are you?" her grasp on the sword tightened, clearly alert of his existence.

"Shuyi is my name."

"I don't care about your name! How did you know of the conditions inside my body?!"

Looking puzzled, Tian Yi said, "The coldness being exuded from your body is a condition that happens when a person improperly consumes an Ice Phoenix Frozen Lotus. And when that happens, that person would slowly freeze from inside-out until that person is no different than an ice statue. First the Spirit Veins, then the blood, and finally, the Dantian."

"Of course, I would know of it." He added after a pause.

"....."

Silence.

Besides the sound of the carriage moving, the entire carriage was dead silent.

Xiao was so baffled by his words that he no longer cared about the road and turned his head to look at the figure in black who was clearly frozen from shock.

The figure in black, as though a lightning bolt had struck her, trembled.

"If you already know so much, then do you know how to cure it?" she asked him, her voice still cold.

"I did, indeed, consume an Ice Phoenix Frozen Lotus, hence why I am traveling like this and not flying. I was going to return to my Sect and ask for help, but if you know how to cure it, then I will save myself the trouble of waiting. And if it's as you said, that I will die by next week, I wouldn't make it and will only turn into a frozen statue long before I could even call for help."

Tian Yi nodded at her words. "I can cure you," he said casually, as though it wasn't even a problem in his eyes.

"...."

The figure in black did not expect him to answer so quickly and confidently, putting her in a daze.

"What do you want in return for you to heal me?" Although she has her doubts, she went straight to the payment.

Tian Yi shook his head. "I do not need any payments."

The figure in black frowned. "Do you expect me to believe that you will heal me for free? Even the miraculous healer, Divine Hands Sheng Ming, who is known for being generous would not that generous."

"There is nothing I need from you besides trust. If you still do not trust me, then I will no longer bother you."

Tian Yi closed his eyes, no longer speaking to her.

As the son of the Celestial Emperor, what could the figure in black possibly offer him that he does not already have, or cannot obtain with the snap of his fingers?

His actions had caused the figure in black to panic at heart. If it was as he had said, that she will die by next week, then her efforts to return to her Sect for treatment that would take up to weeks by carriage would be a futile effort.

And how he was able to diagnose her condition just by the coldness she exuded along with his seemingly vast knowledge about her condition made his words sound just that must more trustworthy.

Furthermore, she was also a cultivation genius that would show up in this world only once every few millenniums— a disciple very essential to the future of her Sect.

If she died, then not only would it be a huge blow to the Sect, her Master who has taken care of her since birth would be heartbroken, something she didn't wish to happen at all cost.

Biting her lips behind the clothed mask, the figure in black said, "Good! I will trust you! But just know that if you are messing with me and ended up being the cause of my death, my Sect will chase you down even if you were to run away to end of this world!"

Tian Yi casually nodded at her words. If he was just an ordinary guy and not the son of the Celestial Emperor, he would have long abandoned the thought of trying to cure such a rude person.
