The manual had a detailed description on the anatomy of a human body. It gave introductions to various special body types. There was a more detailed description on the concept of cultivation as well.

After a lot of information, the final part of the book which was only a few pages was the only place in the book which had any method of cultivation. The method of body refinement was said to only be cultivated by physical training and eating nutritious food. Only the method of meridian opening was given. After which, the method of absorbing energy and condensing it was given. That was it, nothing else. The only thing Adam wanted here was the cultivation method. A feeling of frustration came about him.
'What will I do with the knowledge of various cultivation body types? The knowledge on divine tribulation and retribution and their differences are useless to anyone who hasn't cultivated a single day! This was already introduced in the other book! Adam tried to sense what was blocking him to no avail. He continued to breathe in the spirit qi around him. He filled his body with it. But, it was unorganized and not under his control. The qi quickly dispersed. He thought of his lightning forming a ball in his dantian in Divum. It seemed similar to a core? Yes, it indeed seemed to be a lightning core.
He focused his senses on his dantian hoping to see the ball of electricity which he had formed when he was 3 years old. But he couldn't see anything in his dantian. So, he tried to absorb the qi again. He felt that he his meridians were illusory. They didn't really exist in his body.
Unable to touch these illusory meridians, he forcefully pushed the qi along the path where the meridians were supposed to be. He also tried to defuse the qi into his blood and circulate through his veins.
Actually, his veins and blood could quite easily hold the energy but when more is added, they start to burn. This wasn't out of his expectations. Qi was not supposed to be circulated through veins. Meridians were the passages for qi in the body.
As such, he continued to move the energy according to where the meridians were supposed to be. It was similar to how he had forced his will on the water at Anya's place. Adam became hungry in a while. But it was only in his minds perception that he was hungry. His body was not truly craving food. Instead, it was craving energy. His mind was also exhausted. But that was fixed by the spirit gathering formation soon after.
He fed more and more energy to his body and circulating it according to meridian pathway. He could also not feel any so called acupoints. He was absorbing the energy through the pores of his skin.
Finally, after an entire day and night, he finally gave up. Instead, Adam tried to use his veins as the qi passageway. He absorbed more and more qi, dissolving it all with his blood. He revolved the energy filled blood through his veins. First he slowed to flow of blood down to a speed where his veins could adopt. Slowly he increased his speed while absorbing more and more energy. Every time his veins felt the slightest discomfort, he would slow down slightly and let them get used to the speed before increasing the velocity again. This continued till he could increase the blood flow speed to double the normal speed. His body was sweaty and red from heat. His heart was pumping double its normal speed while carrying a massive amount of energy.
He continued revolution after revolution till this became the new normal speed. He continued to increase the blood flow again when his body settled down. Again, he was faced with pain in his heart and veins. He forcefully suppressed the pain and kept on charging his body with energy. He had no outlet for this massive amount of energy. Nor could he use his dantian as a storage. Though he could sense it, he could not see anything connected to his dantian.
The dantian was supposed to be connected to meridians. But he had none. The dantian was also surrounded by blood vessels. But, none of them was actually connected to the dantian. Adam now felt desperate. He could not slow down the blood flow as that would make the qi slow its revolution as well. That would cause all the energy in his body to become unstable. In the past, he disdained Brian for being a cultivator yet being killed by him. But, when he saw the Elders and Simba, he felt that in order to get power, the only path was cultivation. He could only release this wisp of qi back into the atmosphere through his lungs. The released air mixed with energy formed a light mist in front of him before dispersing.
He circulated his blood to store all the energy in his heart before thinking of going any further. He slowed down his heart rate and blood flow back to normal.

He already knew how to operate it after reading the book on general knowledge. It didn't even require qi, so he could actually use it unlike the spatial ring lying in his backpack.
He pressed the crystal to his temple and focused his will into it. Gradually, a scene of the birth of the universe was played before him. This didn't look like one of the CGI videos of the big bang he saw in Divum. Instead, it looked real. As if it occurred in front of him. He could clearly sense every aspect of the creation of the universe. This image, no matter how profound and enlightening, did not help him at all in his current predicament.
'What am I going to do with this if I can't cultivate?'

'Why don't I have any meridians? I know for sure that I had them when I was younger.'
Adam looked at Yin's sleeping figure.
'All the answers will be found when she wakes. Why is it taking so long?'

Adam heard a voice in his head that he hadn't heard in a long time.
'Hello Adam, can you please get off?'
The voice sounded similar to Yin's voice when she was younger. But, it was now more mature. It sounded like a 17 year olds where as previously, the voice sounded like a 9 year old.
Adam didn't move. He wasn't even pressing on Yin with too much force.
'I need to get up without any force on my body so I can form my bones perfectly.'
Adam got up and moved away silently while Yin steadily stood up and after a few seconds, she spoke,
"Yes! Good to be back!"
"What happened?"
"I don't know exactly. But, a space crack tore my body when we were in the Yin dome. It destroyed my body and I thought I died. But, I somehow held together. My ruined body whose bones grinded and flesh minced joined back together. I lost none of my blood or cells either. But I didn't have any organs at all. Nothing! Still for some reason, my soul didn't leave my body. Neither was it injured. My body was also healing at a snail's pace. I could still control my body though technically it was dead."
"Great, now tell me what happened to ME"
"Oh…" Yin was a bit dispirited.
"When the Yin dome exploded, you died."
"…I figured as much."
"What!? Really? Oh then that's better." Yin didn't seem all that dispirited anymore.
"When you died, it was actually your body that was destroyed while I saved your soul. It took me two years to make you a body with your left over remains and the energy in your body. Though, it wasn't as resilient as your old one and all your lightning energy was used up in the process. When I finally arrived at land, I was poofed. Completely drained. Somehow, my body was absorbed inside your body and merged perfectly. I took a small portion of your energy to repair myself while processing anything harmful in your body for you. Do you know how many times I saved you from being poisoned to death or food poisoning or any virus or bacteria?"
"How do you know about microorganisms and poisons?"
"Some information was in your mind while some, I don't know how, but just came to me. Quite interesting too."
"What do you know about the 'Rend' disk?"
"Only that it was very scary and powerful. Though, it seemed to want to protect you. It went berserk when you ate that pill. It contained enough energy for your soul to adapt to your new body and for me to heal. The medicinal properties increased the state of your soul by a 1000 times. It contained too much energy for you to be able to absorb. It would have caused you to explode if you had to absorb it alone. The talisman came in contact with it and absorbed all the remaining energy from the pill. Then it went out of control and released a murderous aura. I had to suppress it for a while before it calmed down. This caused me to be injured again. Just when I healed, I was injured again. This time I was no longer conscious. I think that the qi you sent me was just enough to fix me again."

Instead, Adam tried to use his veins as the qi passageway. He absorbed more and more qi, dissolving it all with his blood. He revolved the energy filled blood through his veins. First he slowed to flow of blood down to a speed where his veins could adopt. Slowly he increased his speed while absorbing more and more energy. Every time his veins felt the slightest discomfort, he would slow down slightly and let them get used to the speed before increasing the velocity again. This continued till he could increase the blood flow speed to double the normal speed. His body was sweaty and red from heat. His heart was pumping double its normal speed while carrying a massive amount of energy.He continued revolution after revolution till this became the new normal speed. He continued to increase the blood flow again when his body settled down. Again, he was faced with pain in his heart and veins. He forcefully suppressed the pain and kept on charging his body with energy. He had no outlet for this massive amount of energy. Nor could he use his dantian as a storage. Though he could sense it, he could not see anything connected to his dantian.The dantian was supposed to be connected to meridians. But he had none. The dantian was also surrounded by blood vessels. But, none of them was actually connected to the dantian. Adam now felt desperate. He could not slow down the blood flow as that would make the qi slow its revolution as well. That would cause all the energy in his body to become unstable. He was also unwilling to release it back outside. That would be the end of his path as a cultivator.In the past, he disdained Brian for being a cultivator yet being killed by him. But, when he saw the Elders and Simba, he felt that in order to get power, the only path was cultivation. Even General Shire couldn't hope to compare to the might of Simba. He tried to use the same technique of letting his veins get use to energy, on his heart as well. Slowly leaving traces of it in his heart with each circulation. Each heartbeat left a little energy in the heart walls for storage until there was only a little left. But, Adam couldn't deposit this small amount in his heart as it threatened to burst.He could only release this wisp of qi back into the atmosphere through his lungs. The released air mixed with energy formed a light mist in front of him before dispersing.He circulated his blood to store all the energy in his heart before thinking of going any further. He slowed down his heart rate and blood flow back to normal.Adam opened the manual again hoping for a solution to his problem. There was none.*sigh* there was nothing for Adam to do about this for now. Adam turned his attention to the information crystal which contained the Origin Codex. He already knew how to operate it after reading the book on general knowledge. It didn't even require qi, so he could actually use it unlike the spatial ring lying in his backpack.He pressed the crystal to his temple and focused his will into it. Gradually, a scene of the birth of the universe was played before him. This didn't look like one of the CGI videos of the big bang he saw in Divum. Instead, it looked real. As if it occurred in front of him. He could clearly sense every aspect of the creation of the universe. The talisman came in contact with it and absorbed all the remaining energy from the pill. Then it went out of control and released a murderous aura. I had to suppress it for a while before it calmed down. This caused me to be injured again. Just when I healed, I was injured again. This time I was no longer conscious.
