William looked at Alice and James, he said sternly, "Notify the city guards that we saw a huge number of monster approaching the city"

They know that William like to kill monsters, it's not like William like it. It's like he have no choice but to kill monsters that's the expression they saw in William.
"Yeah! I will go and take a look at the beast tide" William admitted that he was planning on staying here.
James looked at him deeply before he said, "Okay, I know you're strong but still be careful" after he said that he turned around.

'Based on the information the system have the strongest monster are level 70 to 79. At my current power I could only fight a level 50 monster' William thought and sighed. He wanted to kill some level 70 and above monster to gain a free stat point reward, but sadly if he met a level 70 monster the only thing he could do was to run.
In the past he heard a beast tide attack the western part of the city. He was too weak at that time, naturally he didn't participated in fighting the monster so he didn't know how strong the monster. The system gave him a list of reward base on the monster he killed and the highest is level 79.
William scanned the surroundings with his mana sense, with the amount of mana he have and with his current level he could scan 200 meters around him. Soon, he detected a monster and it seems he found a pack of level 20 to 25 monster.
He vanished from his position and rushed at the direction of the pack. The monster he observe was a pack of wolves. He observe them for a while before he unsheathed his sword and rushed at the pack.

The alpha wolf head was rolling on the ground, blood spurting like a fountain.
"My exp!!" William said as he looked at the wolves who was looking at him in fear, he just kill their leader the alpha wolf in a single stroke of sword.
William grin at the remaining wolves evilly. He run towards them.

William was in the middle of the bodies of the dead wolves. He just finished slaying the wolves and his expression immediately change.
'Shit!!' He turned around and leap into the tree branch. He swiftly left the area.
He imbued a large amount of his mana into his feet and his speed increased once more.
He detected the appearance of a level 60 monster after he slayed those wolves when he used his mana sense.
William swiftly leap from a tree to another tree. After a few minutes he left, he detected that the level 60 monster was not chasing him.
He could not afford to fight a level 60 monster and exhausted himself when there many lower level monster that could gave him a lot exp and points.
William looked at his exp and found that it was at eighty percent.
'I only need to kill a few level 30 monster to level up' William thought as he allocated 5 stat points to agility.

"It's confirm that a beast is coming to our city" The captain of the city guard said.
This captain was the captain of the guards at the western gate and there's four captain in total. The west, south, east, and north gate all of the gate have a captain that guarding it.
He then turned around and said to his subordinate, "gather are forces we will prevent those beast from entering the city"
After he said that he turned his attention to the two youth. "Thank you young ones for you information, I greatly appreciate your help"
The two youth was Alice and James after they arrived here they immediately reported to the city guard that they found a large group of monster was coming to this direction from the forest.
When the captain of the city guard heard that he immediately dispatched a few soldier to scout the forest.
"No sir, we just do what we must" James replied.
"Good good young one" The captain commented.
Roar!!
All of them turned around and saw a large group of different monster emerging from the shadows of the forest.
"Get ready" The captain shouted.
William was concealing his presence from the the beast tide, he took his time to observe the monster. There a lot of level 20 to 40 at the front of the tide. William didn't fear those level of monster as he could easily slaughter them but his cautious about the level 60 to 70 monster in the rear of the tide there's too many of them.
He went outside of the forest and decided to join the battle at the front as it was too dangerous here in the forest at the moment.

The city guards charged at the large group of monster and begun their slaughtering the lower level monster.
"The monster in the back are far more stronger, so prepare yourself soldiers" The captain shouted as he sliced apart a level 40 monster in a single stroke.
Roar!!
A giant tiger pounced at the city guard.
"Blue eyed spike tiger" another guard exclaimed when ge saw the tiger.
The captain looked over and immediately charged at the tiger.
The tiger looked terrifying with it's three meter tall build, a blue eyes that glimmering in the shadows and it's glossy spike at his back. A level 75 monster the blue eyed spike tiger.
Boom!!
The captain's sword and the tiger's claw collided producing a strong gust of wind in the battlefield.
William was watching the captain and the blue eyed spike tiger's battle. He turned his head at the direction of the gate and saw a lot of people with different clothing emerge from the gate.

"The hunters are here it's time to join" He vanished from his position after he said that.
