William arrived at the forest and he brought out his sword while he walked deeper in the forest. He was walking nonchalantly deep inside the forest where beast reside.
In the past William killed many beast just to increased his experience point and those beast was a hundred time's stronger than the beast here in this small forest. Although the beast here in the forest was weaker than those he killed in the past he still kept his guard as he was weak level 1 mortal.
The forest here is wide as 50 kilometer. It reside in the western part outside of hebrei city. Only level 1 to 60 monster could be found here in the forest.
The largest forest near the Hebrei city is in the north the Flame Ape Forest. It has the same size of hebrei city that span a 300 kilometer diameter. The beast there was stronger and if all the beast there march toward the city it's possible that they could take down the city. The Flame Ape's are the overlord of the forest they hunt in pack and their level varies to 80 to 90.
William tried to control his mana. He imbued his mana in his short sword in his right arm.
William looked at the sword in his hand that glowing lightly. 'It's seems my control in mana is good too like in the past'.
A wave of mana burst forth in his body and swept out through the forest. William use his mana to scan his surroundings.
'It seems that with my current mana thirty meter's is the limit of my mana sense' William thought as he continue to walk deeper in the forest.
William found a horned rabbit that digging the ground. Based on the looks of the horned rabbit it's not a mutated one and he could sense that it was only a level 3. He immediately hide his presence and he slowly walk to the horned rabbit. When he was 5 meter's away the horned rabbit William focus his mana on his feet and dashed to the horned rabbit at a high speed. In less that a second he reached the horned rabbit, he immediately lift up his sword and brought it down.

Before the horned rabbit could react a sword slice through it's head.

'If a level 3 horned rabbit could give me a 3 exp, I only need to kill 6 horned rabbit to level up but if I meet a level 4 - 10 beast maybe I could level up if I kill atleast one of those' William thought.
William could easily kill a beast higher level than him with his battle prowess and his control over his mana. But when he meet a level 15 beast, this beast could fight him on even ground.
'At present I don't have any skill or technique that I can use, so if I meet a level 15 beast that one could give me a trouble.' William sighed and continue to walked.
At the very least in this outer part of a forest the highest level could be found is level 20. That level of beast could kill him with William's amount of mana and his stats there's no way that he could kill a level 20 beast. He needed to increase his strength to survive and protect his family in the upcoming war.
He continued to hunt a beast at the end of the day he manage to level up to 6.

Stat point could only earn through leveling up while the ordinary point could earn through killing beast and completing a quest.

William didn't allocate his stat point's he would only use it in a dire situation. In case when he needed more strength to break the enemy defense, more speed so that he could keep up with the enemy, or needed more stamina when he was fighting many enemies at once.
William's new stats and his amount of mana was enough for him to fight a level 20 beast.

Only an existence at the pinnacle could freely control the mana in the surrounding, those existence spend a huge amount of time to master the mana and eventually control it like a part of their own body.
