After entering the flying saucer, he realized that the interior was quite ancient. Under than a few working screens, there weren’t very many high tech items.

The interior was spacious and comfortable.

Xu Xiaoxian was getting some shut-eye next to Chu Yu.

Her current appearance was that of the adorable girl when she entered the Sky Dazed School.

However, many people recognized her. She had used this identity to compete in five rounds!

Furthermore, virtually all her opponents in these five rounds were the top talents from tier two schools!

One of them was even a talent from a tier one school. He was named Qin Wei, and came from the ranked nine school, the Grand Distance School.

However, he lost after a single move from Xu Xiaoxian.

This time, Qin Wei had come on this expedition as well, and he was accompanied by a youthful lady.

Qin Wei coincidentally sat to the side of Xu Xiaoxian. Seeing that Xu Xiaoxian was resting, he smiled, "Senior is great, I lost that round handedly."

"Do you have something to say?" Xu Xiaoxian opened her eyes and blinked, looking slightly lost.

Qin Wei smiled in embarrassment, then continued, "Even though I lost this time, when I go back, I will work hard and surpass you!"

"Oh, then work hard." Xu Xiaoxian closed her eyes again, leaning back on the luxurious chair as she slept.

Chu Yu was expressionless, but he wanted to laugh his a**s off.

It was clear that Qin Wei wanted to get close with Xu Xiaoxian, but Xu Xiaoxian was steely and this made the scene quite awkward.

However, in front of so many talents from superior schools, he could not say much.

All he could do was turn over and talk to the young girl accompanying him, "What has junior prepared for this expedition to the Devastated World?"

This young girl was quite pretty and had the face of an infant. Her eyes were beady and lively, her brows were thin and her hair was mushroom shaped.

Hearing Qin Wei, she turned her head innocently, "Ah? Do you have something to say?"

"..." Qin Wei’s expression darkened and his lips twitched, "Nothing."

"Oh." The mushroom haired girl nodded then turned her head as she stared out the window.

Chu Yu felt that Qin Wei was slightly pitiful. He wanted to flirt, but that didn’t work. Then, when he tried to communicate with his own junior, he was rebuffed.

Silence is golden, this was an age old principle that could be used anywhere!

Never would he expect that Qin Wei would look at him, "I recognize you, you are the one responsible for the rise of the Purple Cloud, Song Hong!"

For this expedition, the superior schools could choose who they wanted to send.

As such, no one cared if the person coming was a teacher or a student.

The higher ranked the school, the less the participation from teachers. Virtually all of their representatives were their superior student talents.

However, amongst the tier three schools, many of them still sent their teachers.

Some of their teachers were once the top talents in the schools.

After the graduated, they chose to stay in the school. Some of them stayed for a couple of years, others for a couple of centuries. For some, they spent the rest of their lives in the school.

In the school, they had access to all sorts of cultivation resources. Furthermore, schools who could make it to tier three were no worse off than the largest countries.

Based on power and combine ability, the tier three schools were already a force to be reckoned with!

Chu Yu looked at Qin Wei and suddenly thought, What if I replied with, "Do you have something to say?"

Qin Wei would go crazy!

As such, Chu Yu only nodded faintly and said, "You flatter me."

"You don’t seem very old, but your pill refining skills are extraordinary. May I know where you are from?" Qin Wei asked Chu Yu.

Chu Yu shook his head, "That’s not convenient to say."

Qin Wei was once again rebuffed and he turned away, feeling like he chose the wrong place to sit.

The rest of the journey finished in silence.

The giant flying saucer cut through the air at unimaginable speeds. Millions of miles were covered in the blink of an eye.

But the Mirror World was so big it seemed almost boundless.

Not only did the flying saucer fly quickly, it was relatively quiet.

This flying saucer flew at a speed many times the speed of sound and covered gargantuan distances in a single breath.

Initially, those who recognized each other still chatted a little bit.

But as time went on, the atmosphere became more and more silent.

Chu Yu was catching some shut eye, silently trying to internalize what he had learnt from the Immortal Crane Pill Scripture.

He was stunned!

He had already thought that the Crane Saint’s teachings were quite awesome, but he never expected it to be this powerful!

He could use heaven and earth as a furnace and stars as his ingredients to refine an entire galaxy!

This type of pill was known as the Galaxy Pill!

Of course, not everyone could eat this pill.

According to the Crane Saint’s predictions, even an ordinary saint would die from eating the Galaxy Pill.

Only the rare few who managed to reach the pinnacle of the saint realm dared to try such a pill.

According to the Crane Saint’s predictions, this pill could make one an Immortal!

What is immortal?

Chu Yu was just discussing this with Xu Xiaoxian moments ago.

But, their understanding of immortals were superficial.

Even the most ancient annals did not have records about immortals.

Chu Yu guessed that there may have been a huge break in civilization!

After all, based on scientific records before the seal on Earth was lifted, the universe had experienced the Big Bang.

According to calculations, this Galaxy had existed for over 20 billion years, possibly even longer.

On the other hand, the ancient annals in the Mirror World, many of them written by saints, postulated that the galaxy was actually over 50 billion years old!

With such a long lifespan, no one could say for sure how many glorious eras it had went through.

He had just read the chapter from the Immortal Crane Pill Scripture. The Crane Saint had admitted that all that was in this chapter was mere postulation.

The Galaxy Pill recipe was also something he chanced upon when trying to analyze a weapon.

He had the ability to refine it, but never tried it out before.

The Galaxy Pill originated from a sword.

In the early years, he had travelled the universe and found an ancient sword in an ancient, devastated world.

It was extremely ancient!

Even a saint could not determine which era the blade was from!

The blade was three feet long and an inch wide. It was still in pristine condition!

According to the Crane Saint, that blade was incredibly sharp. As a saint with an incredibly strong and hard body, his skin was also broken by a light swipe of the blade.

The Crane Saint had not seen the four legendary killing blades before.

But he felt that this blade was no worse than those four.

Perhaps, it was even more powerful!

Even though the Crane Saint was a saint, he was a medicinal saint. Even though this superior weapon was attractive, it was not as attractive as a superior pill furnace.

As such, even though he was very happy to gain such a weapon, he didn’t think too much of it.

He only took it out to analyze its era once on vacation.

That was when he found some anomalies.

He realize that this was not just an ordinary sword, but a technique manual!

Much of Chu Yu’s awe was due to this discovery.

He did not expect the Crane Saint to record it in this much detail in the Immortal Crane Pill Scripture.

And this sword still remained on Earth!

After realizing that the Sword was extraordinary, the Crane Saint took tens of thousands of years before realizing that it was actually a technique manual.

But he couldn’t understand it.

Most of his concerns were about how to use it to advance his pill refining techniques!

Only now did Chu Yu realize that the Immortal Crane Pill Scripture and the Immortal Crane Pill Furnace were not lost items.

They were left there by the Crane Saint on purpose! They were for the future generations to find!

Contrary to what the legends say, the Crane Saint had actually participated in the battle aeons ago.

Not only did he participate, his level of participation... was quite high!

He was one of the backbones of that war!

When one attained the level of saint, they were able to see things from a completely different perspective.

The ancient chinese had a saying, "Heaven and Earth were not compassionate, they viewed everything beneath them as dogs."

Most saints treated the general populace that way too. Furthermore, they thought about problems at a higher order and a larger perspective.

Unless it involved other universes attacking them, they would not action easily.

Even though the Solar System was incredibly powerful and had many saints, they were overpowered by a pack of wolves, countless superior powers from other universes slashing their way into the Solar System.

They wanted to annihilate everyone in this galaxy!

Then, they would bring their descendants over here and benefit from the luck and opportunities here.

No matter how strong the saints in the Solar System were, they could not fight the swarms of attackers.

Blood flowed like rivers as they gave up their lives in the defense of the Solar System.

The entire galaxy was ravaged and devastated!

Those who had come from the other universes were stunned by the prowess of the Solar System defence.

But there were just too many enemies!

When defeat was certain, the Crane Saint, together with the other powers, sealed up the entire Solar System and left.

They disappeared from the face of the universe.

Before they left, many saints left their legacies and teachings behind.

The Crane Saint left the Immortal Crane Pill Scripture, the Immortal Crane Pill Furnace and that sword.

However, that sword was stored somewhere else.

The reason was simple.

If the person with the Immortal Crane Pill Scripture and the Immortal Crane Pill Furnace could not read this far, then he/she could not do anything with the sword either.

Furthermore, he/she may become a target for assassins!

According to the Crane Saint’s postulations, anyone who could understand this much of the Immortal Crane Pill Furnace was at least a Divine Lord level cultivator.

Little did he expect that his teachings would fall to someone as extraordinary as Chu Yu.

He could understand a good half of the Immortal Crane Pill Scripture as a Supreme Realm cultivator.

But this was a difficult chapter to read.

Chu Yu’s awe was immeasurable.

There were records of the bloody battle back in the day, postulations on Immortals, as well as some hypotheses about the sword.

The saints did not hold back any information when writing their legacies.

As for the rest of the chapter, they were pill recipes. Anyone who could read this far would have no problem understanding the rest.

The Crane Saint had postulated that if one could solve the mystery of the sword and refine the Galaxy Pill, that may be the key to becoming an Immortal.

That way, the crisis of the Village of Cultivation may be averted.

The war of the ancient days had ravaged the Solar System, but many of the powerful saints in the other universes were either dead or seriously injured.

However, after 60 million years of recuperation, a sealed world was going up against... a world which has not stopped growing for the past 60 million years.

The difference in power could only be imagined!

The Crane Saint had said that the advantage the Village of Cultivation had was in their blood.
