Hu Zi blinked twice while Jin Lan opened the book. "Wait!" She exclaimed as she took him outside. With a confused look, he at her. Hu Zi was taller than him so he needed to look up when he wanted to see her face. With gleaming eyes, she looked back. "Lan, hold on to my sleeve tight!"

Suddenly, a gust of wind was formed below them, his eyes widened as Hu Zi used the wind to bring them up. He held on tightly to the book while one of his hand was on Hu Zi's sleeve.

Hu Zi brought them to the roof, safely bringing him to sit next to her on the dark grey roof. She looked at him with gleaming eyes, obviously looking forward to the hear what was written inside the book.

Jin Lan sighed and started to read the book to her. It wasn't storytelling, more like a lesson, so in a way, he was teaching her about the two elements that were similar. He read aloud, "Heat will move from the place that's hotter to the place that's colder."

"From hot to cold?" Hu Zi titled her head.

"En," he answered.

Hu Zi blinked. "Like this?" She took his hand, covered it with hers. "The heat moved from me to you."

His eyes widened. He looked at their joining hands and smiled. "En, like that."

Realizing what she did unconsciously, Hu Zi blushed. She thought, "What have I done?" She looked at him who was still smiling. "Was all the imperial family had nice smiles? Why are he and the empress be able to smile so beautifully?"

While Hu Zi was contemplating, he looked at the book. His eyes gleamed. "Water," he whispered. Water used to be his best friend. Until one day…

"Lan!" Hu Zi cut his train thought. "Why is your body so cold?" She asked earnestly.

He didn't say anything, he was wondering whether he should tell her about it, about his weird body. He had a theory but was unsure whether he could share it with anyone. The memories of how people rejected him and called him a cursed prince came and hunted him. They abused him and stripped him out of his position, he shivered. He might tell her one day when he figured a way to cure himself, but not now.

He looked at her. A girl with beautiful gleaming purple eyes, he still wondered why such a pretty girl would choose him as her husband over everyone else. If she wanted to be a princess, then there are other princes she could easily marry with her title. He knew she didn't him. Why him?

Although he felt suspicious of her, he was glad. Her abundant amount of energy saved him from deep despair, from death. He looked at his hand that looked more healthy than yesterday, it wasn't as pale and cold.

Hu Zi was like an energy bank to him and he needed her. "Power bank," he whispered.

"Lan?" Hu Zi asked. She felt like his temperament suddenly became colder.

He guessed that it is not good to make the power bank feel dejected. He answered. " I can't keep the energy in me."

"Your energy keeps leaking out?" Hu Zi asked. Shou taught her a lot about energy and one of them was about leaking. Basically, although people rarely be able to control and make use of it, everyone had energy inside them, a green colored natural energy. The body is the container and the energy was like smoke it contained. The energy might not stay inside the container because of various things. Even though so, leaking was rare, this is the first time Hu Zi saw someone who actually had the symptoms. "I know how to conceal the energy inside the body, want me to teach you?"

His eyes widened. "You know how to stop the leakage?

"Yes, my shifu told me how to once." Hu Zi thought that if he was getting healthy, she will be closer to getting a new member and add to the Hu bloodline.

"Ah…" Jin Lan was curious about what kind of shifu she had. Since he is the shifu of a wind dragon, he was supposed to be very powerful right? He wondered just how did he die.

Hu Zi ended up teaching him how to stop the leakage all day long. The next day, they were going to pay a visit toward the empress.

Hu Zi didn't know that meeting the empress was very hard, they even need to ask for direct permission. That's why before they went to the inner palace's Phoenix Palace, they went to the grand palace and ended up meeting some important figures along the way, although those people bowed to the cursed prince, the touch of ridicule in their eyes were visible.

He didn't seem to care much though. From afar, Hu Zi saw a very familiar figure. A man with black clothes and golden wave patterned hems. "Qing Bo!" She called.

Qing Bo looked back. "Ah, Hu Zi."

She ran to him, asking. "What are you doing here? I thought that there would be no grand meeting today."

"Yes, there isn't. I am only here to meet the grand counselor." Qing Bo said. It kind of irked him because that meant that he would need to meet that damned left counselor too. He unconsciously clicked his tongue.

"The grand counselor?" Suddenly Jin Lan interrupted. "We have a grand counselor? Why have I never heard of him?"

"Oh, it's the tiny prince!" Qing Bo didn't see him there. He looked down and in an instant, they locked eyes. Qing Bo wondered why but he felt very familiar with him. "The grand counselor always go somewhere. To be honest, this is the first time I'm seeing him too. Hu Zi, I have something to give you."

Qing Bo took a fan out of his sleeve. "I was about to make someone deliver it to your courtyard, this is something Falcon's subordinate found in the ruin."

"My practice fan!" Hu Zi exclaimed. It was the fan Shou gave her when they first became master and disciple. She lost it in the fire. It was left in the room she abandoned. "It survived..."

Qing Bo sighed. "Shou really got his hand on a fine fan, this fan didn't get dirty even after that fire."

"Master, we need to go." The grey clothed man called.

"I will go now, later Hu Zi, tiny prince!" Qing Bo walked ahead of them.

Jin Lan just stood on the side. Looking thoughtfully. "He called me tiny…"

Hu Zi couldn't help but think that the scene between Jin Lan and QIng Bo just now was cute. Although QIng Bo was calling him tiny, he didn't any harm. At least she thought it was better than those officials who ridiculed him.
