Hu Zi dried their clothes with the wind. "Zi…" Jin Lan weakly called, "I can't move but we need to get out of this dangerous forest by tomorrow." He predicted that if they started walking now, they should be able to get out before tomorrow's evening.

Hu Zi 's eyes widened, she shook her had as she came back to reality. "Don't worry, I will carry you on my back."

Because he saved her earlier, she still had plenty of energy left. She only used her close ranged radar, she thought that it would be wiser for her to wait until her body replenished her energy before using the wind to glide. "The tea leaves are washed away." Hu Zi checked the wet rucksack.

Hu Zi sighed. If only she didn't space out, they would still have the bitter tea. She picked him up and started to walk.

Hu Zi looked up and saw the high cliff, the place where they start flying this morning. They planned to arrive at the campground by they used last night by this evening.

Even though he was an irksome and troublesome shifu. Shou sure did raise a strong disciple. Even after what happened today, she was still able to carry the cursed prince and their rucksacks on her back.

After a long walk, she saw that the sun's location in the sky was shifted. The sky changed its color to yellowish, indicating that it would be dark soon. She wondered whether it was because she was tired that her vision became blurry.

She rejoiced when she saw the leftover ashes from last night's fireplace. She fastened her footsteps, but…

Suddenly, she felt extreme pain.

"Zi?" Jin Lan finally woke up from his nap. He looked over, wondering why the girl suddenly stopped. After he touched her neck, he realized. "Zi, you are burning!"

Hu Zi was having a very high fever. It seemed that the blush earlier wasn't shown just because of the feeling she got.

"Lan, I…" She felt nauseous.

"Zi!" he immediately checked on her. Her snow white face became pale, She closed her eyes as she breathes roughly. He held on to her body, looking at her from head to toe, checking the symptoms. Lan knitted his brows, thinking. "What is wrong?" He checked over and found something very eerie. A darkened red mark on her leg.

He got closer and checked the dark red mark. It the middle of a swollen area, there was a mark. It was very tiny, almost invisible, but he was sure that it was there, the bite mark. He wasn't sure what bite her, but by the looks of it, it is something poisonous. But Hu Zi was being careful and used her radar on her way here. When did she get bitten?

"Could it be when she was underwater?" He gasped.

He looked around for something to dress her would and ended up ripping a bit of his long hem. The hem he ripped was the right one, the one that covered his tattoo. Now, a bit of it was shown.

By now, the medicines he prepared beforehand were washed away. He wondered whether there would be a herb in this dangerous forest. "Think, Lan!" he said to himself as he saw Hu Zi looked like she was in a lot of pain.

Suddenly, his eyes widened.

"The cliff!" He looked up. "I think I saw one there."

"Lan…" Hu Zi called weakly. "Lan, it hurts. It hurts a lot." She trembled. She slowly closed her eyes again, feeling very uncomfortable and weak.

"Hold on, Zi." He held to her body. The sun was setting and it would be bad if he left her like this on a cold night.

Jin Lan bit his lips. He knew he wouldn't take them there on time.

Looking at the darkening horizon, he gritted his teeth and brought Hu Zi closer to him. Her body was so weak that he felt he might break her if he didn't do this gently.

He let his fangs out and bite her.

He just hoped that the weak and half unconscious she couldn't feel that. He wouldn't want anyone to think that he was more than a monster they thought he was.

He just needed a little of her energy to stimulate the circulation of his energy inside. Letting them circulate and leaked out of his body, he stimulated his body growth. He stopped sucking.

The moon was out and the night began.

The night creatures were wondering whether the stars were picking favorite as they seemed to only shine for him. The handsome monster that made the hog, who was hiding behind the bamboo trees, shivered.

The bald hog, who was holding grudge against him, backed away. When he farted that morning, he could hear Jin Lan's laughter and faintly saw the cursed prince's blue robe. He managed to survive his own fart's smell and followed Jin Lan in order to get his revenge.

Then he witnessed his transformation. Feeling shocked, he felt like running away. It wasn't just because he thought that the cursed prince was extremely weird, but also because his instinct was telling him to stay away from the cursed prince.

In that form, that cursed prince was strong. Strong enough to turn the hog to pork in an instant.
