Initially Yama thought the book that he forcefully gained somehow will be a magic chant or something but once Yama saw the summary of the book he couldn't help but frown, because the book that Ying Yue chucked was incomplete and on top of that it was a movement technique.
Yama didn't expect this at all, however he couldn't help but be a bit happy after looking at the summary of the technique, this is because the summary states that The Devilish Steps movement technique is a technique that allows the user to make their opponent above two stages of cultivation to be put into a trance for a period of time.
For example at the moment now Yama who is at the 5th stage of elementary realm can put a 7th stage elementary cultivator into a trance for a period of 30 seconds once Yama has trained the movement technique to its first stage.
The Devilish steps has seven stages and each step will allow the user to increase the time period and the amount of level it can surmount to against an opponent, However for each step to be trained you will need to meet a requirement for example to train the first stage of the devilish steps you will need to be at the 7th Stage of Elementary Realm, the second stage you have to be at the 5th Stage of Spirit realm.
The rest of the conditions cannot be seen as the technique is incomplete, it only has the details up to the second stage of the devilish steps.
'This is a useless book, however even though is incomplete, it will be better if I can train it once I reach the 7th stage elementary realm, just incase I face anyone who has a higher cultivation than me I can always put them into a trance and defeat them.'
Yama couldn't help but think of the advantages of the technique, Yama being the God Of Death would obviously not care about death because for Yama death is a playful thing, if someone wants a fight he will give it all regardless of what the outcome is.

"I'm a new student. I am assigned to this dorm" Yama hurriedly so that this guy can stop his crap.

The dorm had five beds, one of them which was currently not occupied, the dorm itself was very spacious, when the disciples saw the narcissist fellow walking inside with Yama they got together to welcome Yama, but Yama was surprised by looking at these cultivators this was because Yama was expecting to see some nobles in his dorm but the five people in the dorm simply dressed like commoners.
One of the disciple who seemed to understand why Yama was looking a bit surprised couldn't help but say.
"You might have heard that nobles are part of the dorm too but that's not the case, that is what it is like on the outside but the nobles and commoners are separated, they get a higher amount of resources than us." The disciple said while carrying on.
"Anyways there's no point worrying about that, let me introduce everyone to you. My name is Bo Hai, I'm in the warrior department, the others will introduce themselves to you now."
The others introduced themselves to Yama, Yama found out there was only one magician in his dorm and that was none other that narcissist Fu Li.
"Hello everyone, My name is Yama, I joined the magician department"
"What! Great! Great! We have two magicians in our dorm!" The three cultivators from the warrior department couldn't help be happy once they heard that Yama is in the magician department.
Yama couldn't help but sigh, he knows that magicians are more respected than warriors, so obviously this meant that other dorms will not come to the dorm for trouble.

"I'm the lightning element"

"Brother you are joking with us ain't you? Why would a lightning element magician be part of our dorm." Bo Hai asked, he found it hard to believe this.
"I do have the lightning element, How am I meant to know why I'm put here? Does lightning elements get special treatment or something?" Yama asked curiously, he knows that lightning element is rare but he didn't expect his 'dorm-mates' not to believe him so he could only call out some lightning sparks from his sea of consciousness.
Once the disciples saw the lightning sparkles, they could not help but look at Yama again in amazement.
"Someone must be pulling strings from the back, before you even entered the academy, you have haters." Fu Li commented, he can easily tell that Yama didn't know so its easy to assume that someone must have purposely put him at the commoners dorm.
"I actually don't know who I offended here. I came directly from the test so I haven't met anyone at all" Yama replied, he was surprised to see this narcissist actually has a serious side to him, but more than that Yama was now curious to see exactly who he offended and why he is trying to give hard time for Yama.
Yama actually doesn't care about the treatment, he is more than happy to live with commoners than nobles because Yama knows for a fact that he will hate these nobles.
"Alright Yama! Since you are here! Let me ask you a question. You should answer truthfully" Fu Li said to Yama looking very serious.
Yama who earlier heard what Fu Li said knew that he had a serious side to him so naturally he believed that he has a serious question to ask.
