Aside from YuYan who has a delightful smile on her lips after Li FuJin agreed to follow what she wants, Li FuJin's face remained expressionless while the others had a dark expression. But as they go deeper, it narrowed until only two people can walk together. The bright crystals are starting to get dimmer. No longer sufficient to light their path. The light is only enough to show a line as a guide for them to follow the trail. "Eh? It's too dark..." YuYan began to complain. She raised her left hand: dark ice crystals appeared, floating in the air, igniting dark flame, bright enough to light their path. At first, only their footsteps can be heard but as they continue, there is a crackling sound. Like an ice slowly breaking kept on ringing in the tunnel. With the soft but disturbing sound, Li FuJin can't help but look at YuYan's hand. He noticed the dark ice scale at the back of her palm is slowly spreading. He wrinkled his brows. Li FuJin tried to observe for a moment, but the ice scale continued to spread. His unsettled heart is telling him that something is wrong with her skin. Therefore, Li FuJin suddenly stopped and held YuYan's wrist, halting her use of her element. He spoke in a deep cold voice. "I'll do it" Li FuJin opened his palm; a dark fire ignited, floating in the air and emitting light to show their way. Sometimes it would dance like there's a wind that doesn't touch their skin. They have no idea how long they walked like it was an endless tunnel. YuYan suddenly stopped. "Pretty, I'm tired!" She turned to face Li FuJin with pitiful eyes. "Carry me on your back.." She blinked innocently. Li FuJin: "..." With her adorable complaining face, Li FuJin did not react. He just stepped forward and bent over for YuYan to ride on his back before they continue to walk. Others: "..." Ugh, Dog food! After walking for what feels like a few hours, they finally reached the end of the tunnel. But it was just an empty space with small dim crystals on the walls. There are no doors or any other exits. "Ugh, dead end?! You've got to be kidding me!" Zhiyuan complained. He looked at Li FuJin and YuYan who just came down from his back. It didn't take to long when the ground suddenly shook while the dim crystals started shining through the whole place. Too bright that it almost blinded them. Then suddenly the ground was opened making them fall into an abyss. Li FuJin immediately pulled YuYan towards him, embracing her tightly as there is no where to hold on to the dark space. They cannot even see anything below. The least he can do is to make sure of her safety is that the danger will first fall onto him. Same as Zhiyuan to Marlene until they all suddenly slammed hard on the ground. Bam! Zhiyuan became Marlene's futon, so had Li FuJin to YuYan. When they opened their eyes they were in a dense forest with thick fog and tall huge trees came into their view. Whoosh! Everyone: "!!!" YuYan raised her head. All of a sudden an arrow almost hit her forehead. Luckily, Li FuJin had immediately pulled her towards him, her face bumping on his chest. Before Li FuJin could see where it came from, another arrow came flying straight for YuYan's back. He swiftly rolled on the ground; embracing her in his arms, preventing her from get hurt.
