Lee Jun woke up in the morning, full of vigor. His mood totally brightened up. He even humming a song while made a cup of his favorite black coffee. While waiting for his coffee, he grabbed 2 slices of toast and put it inside toaster. Finishing all his breakfast preparation, Jun opened up his calendar to see his schedule.
He got nothing much to do today. Just a few of follow-up promotional activity for his recent movie and interview. It shouldn't take a lot of his time and he should be able to prepare himself for something more important, such as teasing his monkey. Ever since he met her in the car park for the first time, he found so much joy in teasing her. Her expression was too funny to be missed. So, for tonight, he especially need a preparation and he might need to rely on his acting skill.
He retrieved the USB from the table and plugged it in her laptop to review its content. There was only one video file attached inside USB. He played the video and his eyes was gleaming with excitement. Once he closed his laptop, his mood improved totally and he kept smiling to himself and ready to face the day.
Meanwhile, Ji An who woke up late was currently cleaning all her belonging from her desks straight to her back pack. She didn't have time to check on which item was important or not. She was dashing out from her room and wearing her sweater both at the same time. The noise made Ha Na woke up and covering her ears with pillow. When she knew she failed to block the noise, she decided to go and meet the source of noise.
Ji An was startled to see Ha Na woke up so early without realizing she was the main culprit. "Ha Na-yaa. Is the sun rises in the west today? How could you wake up so early?"
Ha Na groaned and gave her best killing stare to Ji An, but she was being ignored completely. She should have understood her ignorance but she felt that she need to keep trying. People changes and she hope Ji An will change to. For the better, of course.
Since Ji An received no reply from Ha Na, she finally turned her gaze towards her and was met with her blank morning face. She waved her hands in front of her,"Ha Na, nothing to say? I am leaving and don't call or message me today."
Ha Na once again wide awake hearing her best friend remarks and inquired back,"Why?"
"I lost my phone. Fortunately, someone picked it up for me. I will get it back tonight."
"Your phone is like your life. How can you lost it?"
Her question made Ji An's mind traveled back to her most unwanted memory since yesterday. 'That guy, urghhh~! He made me lost my exclusive news and came late to the meeting. He even dragged me around and treated me like some kind of maid. In the end he made me lost my phone!'
"Long story. But bottom line is one jerk caused all my misfortune". Ji An tied up her shoe lace and ready to go to office. She was in a rush, but since when she was not. She couldn't wake up early and it's in her genes. She believed she has developed phobia against morning sun.
Ji An left her home and run towards bus stop when she heard car horn behind her. The passenger window rolled open and revealed Song Ho Oppa handsome and neat appearance from the driver's side.
"Ji An, get inside. I'll give you a ride." Ji An eagerly opened the door and buckled her seat belt. The car scent was fresh and familiar. It smells like clear cotton with a bit of musk. Ji An kept sniffing her nose around to grasp the scent. Song Ho laughed it off,"Ji An, this is your favorite scent. I bought it recently. Your sensitive nose really can catch it up. Not bad."
"My sense of smell is perfect" Song Ho Oppa raised his eyebrow at the word 'perfect' which was noticed by Ji An and she quickly amended her statement, "Almost perfect?"
"That's better!" Song Ho laughed it off and started to drive towards office. Ji An glad that her relationship with Song Ho Oppa went back to how it used to be. They were indeed colleagues, but they were best friends before colleagues.
Song Ho at the same time tried to assign some work into her plate to restore her self-confidence and dignity. He wanted Ji An to prove herself as a reporter with this assignment.
"Ji An, I have arranged you to attend follow-up interview with Label K to cover the newest box office movie" Ji An dreaded working in entertainment line since she has no knowledge nor care towards the actor or actress. She has prejudiced against all people working in entertainment industry. And her prejudice was getting worse after meeting the air-headed guy. She has never met even one, but Lee Jun caused her to hate their profession even more.
"Must I go?" Song Ho knew Ji An didn't really like to work for entertainment department. But he currently has no choice. She couldn't take any financial or political assignment after his harsh critique. The only way for her to build back her reputation should start again from something easy.
"Yes, no further question. You need to do this interview well and I can consider you going back to financial and political news"
