The world seemed to stop moving while two of them kept staring into each other eyes before Ji An lost her balance and fell into Jun's arms. Couldn't stand the situation any longer, Jun broke the silence once again ,"Song Ji An."
Ji An's heart beat faster, it was the very first time Jun call her name softly. 'Would something impossible happened, like kissing me? It shouldn't happen, but my body could not even move. Song Ji An stopped staring!' Her train of thought ran away without proper destination, as messy as her heart beat right now. She could only reply weakly ,"Yes?" And it did not even sound like her. Stupid Ji An!
"You're heavy. Can let me go now?" His question sounded like thunder and broke all Ji An's imagination within seconds. Embarassed and tried to cover it up, Ji An squealed as if she just touched contaminated virus. Her dolphin sound annoyed Jun even more. 'It is not like I am making the attempt, and why she looks like touching something dirty? Curse this monkey.' His annoyance transparently reflected and with one push he threw Ji An back towards her seat.
"What were you trying to do?" His playfulness gone. Realizing his surrounding color had turned darker color and something weighed on his nose, he took off his sunglasses and stared silently waiting for her explanation.
Still shocked from being pushed aside, Ji An who started off with good intention trying to explain the whole situation,"I saw you were sleeping and since the sun shine so brightly, I good-heartedly put sunglasses for you. But you pushed me aside?" She sounded hurt.
'Did I misheard anything?' Jun was contemplating although after hearing Ji An explanation, Jun was dumbfounded. He didn't think this monkey would care for him to this extend. There was purely business between the two of them and it had started off with threat to be exact. He could not figure out her intention and decided to drop this matter, for now.
Awkward feeling which had been disappeared for awhile had returned back full force. No way to continue the conversation, Ji An started her engine back on and prayed she would reach as soon as possible. She needed a break. A break from this evil creature and for her own sanity.
The car started moving when suddenly ,"Sorry." Captured by surprise, Ji An who supposed to step on accelerator, stepped on the brake instead. Her unbuckled body hit the steering wheel and made her groan in pain.
Concerned with her groaning sound, Jun asked her condition ,"Are you okay?"
"You think?!"
"Should be since you can reply in such high tone." Indeed Ji An's reply was full of energy and accusation and she was back to her old self.
"Aren't you supposed to apologize just now? You should repeat. I didn't hear it very clearly." Ji An requested him to rewind whatever he said earlier.
"How could you say it was apology when you couldn't hear it? It was supposed to be said once. Your loss." Jun clamped his mouth and stubbornly refuse to repeat whatever he said. It was not easy for him to say sorry and this monkey ignored him just like that. She even pretended not to hear!! Didn't she know how difficult it was? And she should apologize to me instead!
Although they did not have much interaction, Ji An more or less could guess his temper. Decided not to pursue it further, she gladly accepted his apology with glee. Anyway it was not easy for him to say it. 'This dumb was not that bad, at least he had manner to say sorry. Miss manager accepts.' She kept all these inner thoughts to herself and glad that the atmosphere had back to the comfortable zone instead of war zone that they had.
With that determination, she rebuckled her seat belt, remembering the pain of hitting the steering wheel just now and silently drove towards the shooting destination. Within one hour, they finally reached. Jun immediately jumped out of the car and stretched his body like an elegant panther. While Ji An stretched like some old grandma who had been gardening for four hours. Her whole body was stiff and tired. She cursed herself not taking enough rest, but she did not regret every hour she had spent with Ha Na.
Her phone suddenly rang and on the display showed An Song Ho. Her panic mode was switched on and she was contemplating whether she should pick up her phone or not. After a few rings, she picked up her phone ,"Hello, Oppa!"
"Oh, Ji An. I am nearby and wondering whether you need car pooling. I am buying you breakfast as well."
"No need to trouble you. I am not at home."
"Huh? Then where are you? I come and fetch you." Song Ho thought Ji An should not be too far from home. It was still early to go office anyway.
"Umm... I am not feeling well. Got a stomachache." She was trying to bluff her way out and end this phone conversation as soon as possible.
"Did you get food poisoning? Was it painful? Or diarrhea?" Song Ho who obviously did not know the real condition, getting worried over Ji An and rapidly firing question towards her. However for Ji An, his concern sounded like interrogation.
Wanting to end the conversation, Ji An changed her tone ,"Don't worry to much. I will take some medicine and rest. If everything okay, I will report back to office in the afternoon."
"Don't force yourself. You can just rest at home. Okay, I will not disturb you anymore. Rest well."
"En, thank you Oppa." Finally the conversation ended. 'That was close!' She was not prepared to lie to Song Ho Oppa this early. Usually he did not really check on her. Brushing it off as coincidence, Ji An followed Jun inside the house to see what other things she could assist him with.
