Ji An dropped Jun back to his penthouse, thinking that she had ended her job of the day and could return back to office. Once they entered Jun's penthouse, Ji An energetically put his car key on the table and ran straight towards the elevator before she was blocked by Jun. Contemplating that it might be accident, she waited at the side for Jun to pass through but it did not happen. Instead Jun kept standing there and did nothing.
"Go, faster" Ji An urged Jun to move pass her so she could continue to work. She was started to feel the excitement to investigate Congressman Park and the unknown guy in the forest earlier this morning. However, no response coming from Jun. Tapping her feet towards the carpeted floor, she could not a second more and started to make a move first when she conveniently was blocked by Jun, again!
Ji An fiercely glared at Jun ,"What again? I just made way for you and you did not even move an inch. And now you are blocking my way."
Jun smiled and inched his face closer to Ji An ,"So what?" Being that close to Ji An, he could smell Ji An slightly flowery scent. As fresh as spring. Now that he could observe Ji An closer, he noticed that her long hair was slightly messy with a bit of grasses still stuck inside her hair. He almost choked, once again imagining Ji An ran away from wild animal when he suddenly noticed a blotch of red color which looked like dried blood near the neck.. He frowned and moved his hand towards her neck, trying to erase the smudge.
Ji An who was still thinking Jun was playing prank on her still rambling non stop when she suddenly felt Jun was touching her neck. Despite she could feel his gentle touch, Ji An hissed in pain, unaware of what happened to her neck and was trying to block Jun's touch to reduce the pain. Without her knowing, Jun's other hand already on her shoulder and forced her to stand still. Realizing her hiss of pain and the smudge was actually dried blood, Jun went straight to the first aid cabinet.
"Monkey, sit."
Looking at Jun intended action to clean her wound, Ji An tried to dismiss his effort,"It's okay. I cna do it myself. It's nothing much."
"Sit. Don't make me ask you twice." His last sentence had no room for negotiation and Ji An obediently sit on the couch. Jun brought over first aid kit and put it on top of his coffee table. Not only his first aid kit, but he also sat there, directly in front of Ji An. He once again checked her wound and since her long was covering it before, he stood up, took a bunch of her hair gently and tied it with a hair band.
Ji An was surprised of his gentleness and even more surprised by the availability of hair band inside this house. "Eh air-head, how could you have a hairband? Do you have fetish towards girly stuff?"
Jun ignored her but there was slight change in his expression. His face and hand stiffened for a split second before he continued to pour alcohol into a piece of cotton. He gently wiped the dried blood from Ji An's neck and due to the alcohol content, Ji An once again hissed in pain. Both her neck and her heart throbbed. One was due to pain, the other part was throbbing without reason. She couldn't understand her heart at all, why it kept throbbing faster and faster when Jun was this close with her.
"Bear for a while" Jun instructed her to not move around while he still cleansed the wound with the alcohol-contained cotton. Once he was satisfied, he put a brown ointment for open wound and pasted dry gauze before sealing the wound over with dry gauze.
"Try to avoid water for this area."
"En, thanks so much." Feeling awkward with his sudden change of attitude, Ji An really really wanted to go back home. She did not even remember her initial plan was to go back office and do some research. Ji An was a lazy bump at home, so whenever she needed to work, she would not be able to do it from the comfort of her home. She mentioned before to Ha Na that her bed was lonely and kept calling her to accompany. Ha Na always thought she was the one who was actually lonely and urged her to find boyfriend.
'I should go now. Yes, Song Ji An, what are you doing? Faster go. You had done your duty today.' With that in mind, Ji An stood up to leave the penthouse before Jun once again called her,"Stop there. Where do you think you are going?"
"Ermm.. Office? Home? Anywhere I like! You have no more schedule anyway. Why should I stay here?"
"Do you think my job just revolves around schedule? So no schedule means no work?"
"Yes." Confidently Ji An replied.
"Sigh. I need to prepare for fan-signing."
"Ehem, then? You also need manager to meet your fans?"
"Have you ever gone to fan-signing before?" Jun felt like strangling this girl in front of her. Lucky she got a wound on her neck, so strangling her was now out of options.
"Em, if I say no, will you believe me?" Her confidence level had dropped slowly after Jun's continuous question.
"No." Jun immediately changed his answer again,"Yes". Anyway, nothing had been impossible with this monkey around. Deciding not to drag this conversation, Jun went to the storage room, and showed Ji An one luggage full of gifts and paper bag, along with his printed photo in postcard size.
"You see this? I need to give this out during fan-signing. So I need to prepare all these gifts and signed all the photos."
Shocked by the number of gifts need to be packed individually, Ji An just gaped stupidly and looked back at Jun ,"Are you doing this on purpose? To torture me?"
"Do you think I am going to torture myself if torturing you is the only purpose?"
Realizing her stupidity, Ji An could only grumble and took over the luggage from Jun and pushed it back towards living room.
Another day of labor, how she wished it would end at this moment.
