There was one guy sitting. His posing aura could not deceive everyone that he was indeed the boss. He opened a box and took out his favorite Cuban cigar. Slightly cutting the bottom of it, immediately his assistant flicked the lighter towards his cigar. Slowly he inhaled cigar and enjoying its effect on him.
In front of him, the bigger bodyguard just stood there, awaiting for his permission to speak. He did not seem to be in any rush to hear the bodyguard report. Until he finished smoking his cigar, put his leg up to his desk and then he finally gave the bodyguard permission to speak.
"You may start."
"Yes, Boss. I have started to investigate the girl as per your instruction. The girl name is Song Ji An. She was at the premise together with the filming crew. Apparently she is Lee Jun's manager. She is also working as a junior reporter and has not had any outstanding achievement at this moment."
"Huh? No outstanding achievement?" The shadow stood. Slowly but surely walked towards the bodyguard. Realizing his boss getting near, he could only lowered his head and prayed in silence. Hopefully he did a good job for this report and did not evoke his anger. It was well-known that his boss anger management was very bad.
His footsteps could be heard and with every step he took to move forward. The sound echoed through the wall, especially with the complete silence the room had right now. The shadow now stood directly in front of him. He could see the tip of his shoes shining and he almost could see his own reflection there.
The boss stood there without making any movement when suddenly he punched his bodyguard and made his body sprawled over the floor. Without anytime to recover, he kicked him again over and over again. There were only kicking and groaning sound in the room. The big bodyguard lost all his strength. His face bloodied and he felt the boss broke his ribs. He could only groan silently. Even the slightest movement pained him so much. He still didn't know what he did wrong. He did investigate carefully and could find out such detail within a short period of time.
"She had achievement to be able to sneak around. You have failed to secure the perimeter and the girl could walk inside. I don't tolerate failure. Finish him." Exactly after he said those words, a few other bodyguards came over and picked the big and bloodied bodyguard on the grown. When the boss said to finish him, it must be done somewhere else.
The bodyguard paled and whimpered. "No, no! Boss, I am sorry. Give me another chance." Even though initially he lost his strength, his fear overrode and he could gathered enough strength to wail. Just enough to make his voice heard by everyone in the room. Unfortunately, there was no second chance given ever. Everyone who failed Boss task must disappear.
"Boss! Boss! Arrghhh!!!!" His wailing and screaming could be heard from outside and it slowly diminishing, leaving a cold trail of silence behind.
Calmly cleaning his bloodied shoes with wet tissue, he shoot another order to his right hand man without even looking,"Keep her under surveillance and find out what she had."
"Yes, boss." Assistant Do nodded and went out from the room. He would personally oversaw the task given. He had seen with his own eyes how dire the situation would be if he failed.
Ji An's Apartment
Finishing the porridge from Song Ho Oppa, Ji An could feel her tiredness seep away. She went to her room to put up her daily skincare routine, when she saw the bandage put over her neck. Her hands automatically moved towards her neck. Her wound served as a reminder on what actually happened to her today. She was contemplating. 'What should I do? Should I start the investigation by myself? Or, should I ask Song Ho Oppa? But I am still blocked to look for any other news except those assigned. Ahhh, this is terrible!'
Ji An walked around her room, like a vacuum cleaner. Unfortunately, she was not one and she didn't even make her messy room become better with her random walking. After weighing the pros and cons for every options, she decided to hide it from Song Ho Oppa for now. Anyway, it might not be something big. 'Let's keep it this way for now'. With her new determination, Ji An took out her phone and connected it to her laptop. She would like to review and take closer look of all the pictures taken during the secret rendezvous between Congressman Park and the unknown guy. She might get additional clue, anything to start her own investigation.
