It was still early in the morning but Oh Ha Na could't wait for Ji An to wake up by herself. She jumped onto her bed and to make it more special, on top of Ji An. Ji An was awake immediately with such a huge luggage on top of her. She was groaning, both from Ha Na's weight and her pounding headache.

"Go away!" She pushed Ha Na away and tried to take her blanket once again.

"Don't you dare!" Ha Na was taken her blanket hostage. Her curiosity was already at its peak and the girl in front of her did not even speed up the whole process. She even almost tied Ji An and hung her upside down if only Ji An was not her best friend. She was being totally considerate of her.

Ji An was finally sitting down on her bed, looking annoyed at her childish friend with sleepy eyes. "Now what?" She was yawning and asking question at the same time.

Apparently interrogation time had started and Ha Na jumped at the opportunity without beating around the bush,"Why don't you tell me you are working with Lee Jun?"

'BAM!' If only Ha Na question could make a sound, it would really sound like exploding bomb during World War 2 when US dropped it to Hiroshima.

"How..?" Her question trailed down into a whisper.

"Don't try to outsmart me, my dear friend. The person himself already appeared in front of our house and carried you over like a princess to your bedroom. He even said you are working together! So, faster spill the beans, will you?"

"He's here? Inside my room? How?????" Ji An was screaming now till Ha Na closed both of her ears.

"You are dead drunk. Then, do you think you crawl back inside by yourself?"

Groaning, Ji An covered her face and rubbed it,"Oh no, how embarassing. My room was in a mess! How could you let him in!! Arrh, Oh Ha Na! I thought you are my friend. You are killing me."

"Eh, why did you put the blame on me? It's your laziness." Actually Ha Na's room was not in a far better condition than Ji An. "Friend, could you please expedite your story now?"

Knowing her best friend characteristic who bit on gossip like hungry dog biting on meat, Ji An had no other way but spill her history with Jun right from the start. From how they met for the first time, the photoshoot and how she finally ended up as his manager.

Ha Na did not interrupt with a single question and Ji An started to worry that she was angry.

"Ha Na-ya, I am sorry I keep this from you. I just..." Ji An realized that no excuses should be pardoned and she did purposely hide it from Ha Na. Guiltily, she looked down. Her shoulders slumped.

"Stupid, Ji An. Don't you know me? I will not blame you. I believe you have such a good reason." Ha Na hugged her tightly.

"Oh Ha Na" Ji An was utterly touched. Ha Na really understood her completely and she hugged her back, thankful for such strong friendship they had shared.

"But, Ji An-ah, what is your relationship with him?"

"I thought I just told you. Artist and manager."

"No, that's not what I meant. You know exactly what I am asking." Ha Na probed further.

Ji An's face back to gloomy. She remembered seeing Jun and Kim Anna kissing in front of the BBQ restaurant, professing love to each other. "He had wonderful girlfriend. How could he together with me?"

"Girlfriend, who?" Noticing her friend change of attitude, especially going to sad direction, "Ji An-ah, do you like him?"

"What nonsense are you spouting?" Ji An was shocked by her sudden question. Too shocked until she answered and stood up at the same time.

"Wow wow, chill. Sit down. If you don't love him, then why would you look so sad? Shouldn't you be happy that your artist found his love?"

"Me? Falling in love with him? Hah! He's such an arrogant bastard. Treating me as a slave, keep teasing me. How could I?"

"You know your heart better than anyone. Is he really that bad? No matter how I looked into it, he still treats you good enough. Think about it and be honest with yourself."

Feeling bothered and needed to find something else to do, Ji An decided to visit Min Young's mother at the suburb. She bought a box of ginseng drink as a gift.

The trip to Min Young's house distracted Ji An from the problem brewing in her mind. She took a bus there to enjoy the scenery. The autumn leaves had slowly shown its color. Trees surrounding the street was standing still and pride like marching soldiers. A hint of yellowish started to bud amidst the greeneries which gave it more warmth and vibrant color. Ji An slightly opened her window to enjoy the breeze.

When she finally reached Min Young's house, Aunty was outside doing some cleaning for her small garden. She was crouching down and taking out the wild weeds while singing old folks song. Ji An was tiptoeing to her side before she was also crouching down by her side and called her,"Aunty!"

"Ji An-ah! What a huge surprise! Come, let Aunty see you." She kept spinning Ji An body to check and her face was full of disappointment when she noticed Ji An had lost some weight.

"Poor girl, why do you look so skinny? Come inside and rest, Aunty will cook something for you." Both of them cheerily went inside and talked the whole day, like mother and daughter.

After finishing her meal, Ji An was too full to move and she could only lie down on the floor. "Aunty, your food is too good. I am getting fatter now."

"Good. You look too skinny. Are you okay, my dear?" She looked at Ji An with motherly eyes.

"Yes, I am. I just too busy recently and skipped a few meals. I think I have got back my previous weight from this lunch."

"Sweet mouthed girl. Now, you take a rest inside. Aunty is going out. Don't go home without telling me okay? I am going to go and pick a few fresh vegetables for you." Aunty left Ji An alone inside the house and after a while, Ji An got so bored that she started walking around the house.

She found one room, looks more vibrant and modern comparing to other rooms. A few posters of famous stars were attached to the wall, including Lee Jun's posters. 'This room must be Min Young's.'

Ji An walked around the room casually and checking Min Young leftover items. Aunty seemed to take a good care of the room. No dust could be found and the room was as clean as ever. As if waiting for Min Young to come back and reuse it.

Ji An felt sad, suddenly remembered about Min Young. She sat and lied down on her bed when her head suddenly hit something hard. "Ouch!" Ji An sat back again, rubbing the back of her head.

'What's this?' She was searching under the pillow and found a small flat box, locked. She was shaking the box and could hear something was inside.

Ji An suddenly feeling excited. This might be another clue to investigate Min Young's death. She was rummaging through Min Young's item inside the room, but still couldn't find any keys.

Disappointed, she came back to sit outside and waited for Aunty. When Aunty just opened the door, Ji An greeted her warmly and pounced at her!

"Aunty, come and sit down. I got something to ask you."

Looking at Ji An eager expression, Aunty happily followed her and sat down.

"Aunty, I found this under Min Young's pillow. Do you know what is this?" Ji An showed her the small wooden box.

"Ah, that must be her diary. She was always protective towards her diary. She had been writing diary since high school." Aunty seemed to be lost in the past, thinking about her daughter.

'Diary? This is it! I need to read further and I might find something.'

"This wooden box is locked. Do you know where she might have her keys?"

"Keys? Not that I could recall. She had passed me some bracelet before as a gift but I don't recall any keys."

"Jewelry? Did she often buy you gifts?"

"Yes, she always sent me money or bought me some vitamins. But this bracelet was the first jewelery she bought for me. Come to think about it, I just remembered something.

"She was so distracted the past few months and she often hid herself in her room and wrote her diary non-stop. One day, she went back and passed me the bracelet. She even warned me not to lose it before. Her face was so serious, so I thought that must be expensive."

Ji An could feel the excitement running through her blood veins. Aunty's statement about Min Young really made her want to open the diary even more.

"Could I see the bracelet, Aunty?"

"Sure, let me take it."
