On Chu Lui’s unhappy face, his lips curled into a small smile. He seemed to be saying something.

Du Jingtang waited for a response from Chu Lui. None came. He touched his nose, looked at the computer screen, and finally, prepared to make his exit. “Alright, Cousin. I won’t disturb you any further. There’s also a lot of work waiting for me to do. So… I’ll make a move.”

He put the letter down and relaxed himself in the chair with his back against it. His hands rubbed gently at her eyebrows. However, there were visible blood veins in his dark eyes when he opened them.
